At any rate it is an excellent question as I always wonder how jealous/restrictive exactly these entities are. If they are thought forms they will only be what we make them into for our own convenience. Of course if you think of your God as the source energy, obviously it would only consider other deities as helpful intermediaries and not feel threatened as it would not be on a competitive level...quite a few believers have no problems with saints, Angels, messiahs and the like so why object to another entity regardless what you call it as it is all a subjective naming issue. It only becomes a problem when you define it. Even Muslims believe there are djinns who serve Allah. I guess if you believe Jesus is the only intermediary as in Christianity or Allah cannot be "associated" then the restriction lies in your system but I doubt whether the FPCK entity would have a problem. After all it makes itself available regardless. Now I believe the next question would be do they choose us or do we choose them. Do we inherently "belong" under the care of a certain entity in a pre-determined way? Do we really have a choice or is our inherent make-up what decides for us? I find this question interesting too. Personally I feel that all manifestation of energy comes from the same place so you cannot really go wrong as long as your intentions are pure. The infighting happens at a lower level, not at the level of creative love. Why would a mother forbid her child from getting help from a sibling? Anyway that is my feeling. I believe that everything comes from the same place and all that differentiates it is what we, and the entities, do with our free will. Whether we have a physically recognisable body or not does not in itself makes us that different, or evil. We are all just fluctuations of the same material. People will happily interact with dodgy humans but get scared of a benevolent apparition...yet we are all the same stuff really, only our intentions make us good or bad, not the form we manifest in. If you see your body as a microcosm of our physical world imagine how you as a large entity feels about intra-cellular battles. It only becomes a problem when they wreak havoc. As long as they get along you don't even know your cells exist, do you?

Oh and it came undone very fast almost all at once. I just had a hunch that I was in for a surprise of some sort.

Hi Aeran Well actually I have had no emotional impact except that I feel more relaxation and my usual state of gratitude has been amplified. My meeting here at the hotel went very well and my interaction with my colleagues has been very gratifying and warm on a personal level. I have received excellent feedback regarding my work as well. I do believe the blockage I had was an old residue which was no longer needed, a true release from the past. I am in a peaceful plateau at the moment, adding to the sense of grateful satisfaction about my life in general, which peaked in the past week. I recently got a promotion and my family life could not be better so I really cannot complain. In my humble opinion, FPCK is a very gentle and loving energy and will not give you more than you can take. I did force it a bit and I was not sorry. It was a bit hard physically and as well I took some time management risks to fit it in but it molded itself well in with no consequences. I think if it is easy, it is not needed. The healing has to be where the pain is. That much I learnt from Tui Na. You are designed for betterment anyway and the pain will come. So here you can apprehend it and flow with it, knowing you have the support of the energy. The shift is in your mind, to make it a therapeutic pain if it has to be a pain. Trusting that the process will leave you whole makes it much easier to bear too. I have also experienced that aggravation can be a symptom of imminent release, generally in the healing equation. But ultimately you know, inside yourself. From what you are saying, it seems you have answered your own question. I can only encourage you to take the leap and instead of resisting the flow of the emotion, observe it and let it go on its way without restraining it further. If it is a negative one, it has to feel that way, the only question is are you ready to let it go or not. I don't know if I am on point, I am just going with my subjective viewpoint so please forgive me I am being presumptuous.

A heartfelt thanks to Sifu Terry for imparting FPCK to us and nothing but gratitude to to Earl Grey for sharing the intensive and rapid results of his practice, which gave me the impetus to jump back into the the exhilarating journey that is FPCK. I have now practised for six days, missing one day, taking every available opportunity to practise. I too have noted dramatic results. In Monk Gazing at the Moon, I see the energy and it confirms the accuracy of my posture. There is a lovely jet of qi pulsating regularly from between my fingers, upwards, as well as three different sounds. One vibrating hum, one higher pitch, and one that I would call the "sound of silence", which is more subtle but very present. I emphasise this because my hotel room is soundproof, being at one of Europe's largest airports. I hear a lot of latent snippets of talking too but that is not new as I am used to picking up environmental sound residue and random thoughts. I realise from my breathing that I am truly in a trance state when I practise. Bending the Bows has released a huge block, the nasty abdominal pain I have been withstanding for the past 2 years. It was actually a massive bundle of intestinal gas. I carried on eliminating gas continuously for 12 hours and my body shape has visibly changed. I now have a waist again! I also have far more energy and a super-fast metabolism! For the first few days I felt something nasty "leaking" from my liver, and now my digestion, metabolism and elimination processes are amazingly speedy. I also practise FPCK with much more ease. Being able to bend again is very liberating! I felt beforehand that something amazing was about to happen, and indeed it did. There is also something else I realised, which is that the energy has an intelligence of its own and can be communicated with. One builds a relationship with it, like a lover one can't wait to spend at least a minute with. I cannot believe the sheer intelligence of the entire system. All of this has happened exactly at the right time and place, like everything else does anyway, for that matter. Also, I do believe you only get out of it what you put into it but most importantly, when you believe it you will experience it, there is no limit but in your mind. Thanks again for this turning point in my life.

Thanks for your kind wishes Wow so since I am a beginner on DVD 1, I can do mine in the evening? That helps me greatly, thanks a lot! I can plan to do "Monk gazing at the Moon" and "Bending the Bows" to start with and then do more afterwards?? That is such a pleasure to know. I hope that someday I can do all that in one day, you are one dedicated person! So inspiring What do you mean, people not doing it are feeling benefits too just by being around you? Consider me boosted

Thanks for this. I am still struggling to get up at 4am in the morning as I am still very sleepy (though not as much as before) and 1. not advised by Sifu to lose sleep if doing, 2. not advised by Sifu to do in evening then sleep. It is a terrible struggle for me but I am still holding onto hope. I am feeling 65% better than before and not completely healed of my pain. I seem to have reached a plateau. What can anyone tell me as concerns the best compromise? Better to sacrifice sleep and do in morning, or better to do in evening but how long after that can I sleep? I will still lose sleep but not as harshly as in the morning. Sorry for being such a pain after so many months but I am really attracted to this method after having seen the effects after only a few times when I was doing before lunch (not possible anymore). So I am wanting to give it my best shot but struggling with the restrictive advice. At one stage I wanted to replace it with pranayama as I can do that at any time but others here have indicated that it is not worth it (plus the asanas have to be perfect, right?) and that FP is worth so much more. As before, I continue to do normal but deep breathing whenever I think of it and just slowing down my breathing is what I attribute to feeling better in spite of having stopped the Chinese herbs. As there is no retention as opposed to for example square breathing I don't see any inconvenience to this. I am tempted to do some retention though (square breathing) and I was wondering if that clashes with FP? Just as a beneficial add-on (when I start after advice regarding the above) but is it totally unnecessary as most say FP is sufficient unto itself? All in all I just want to know what I can do to go forward in spite of my hurdles. I want to commit to a practice to which my lifestyle will not be counter-productive (I do at least 30 hours per week of housework/childcare outside of my dayjob, plus travelling to various countries for work every once in a while). Cheers A_B
  8. The Now and the Sub-nows ?

No. It is much faster and longer than a shudder and doesn't move around. Sounds like a rocket taking off but on a lower pitch.
  9. The Now and the Sub-nows ?

Not always. But more often than not I see clouds. Sometimes "shadow people". Sometimes bundles of light. At one stage I would see lots of vortices as far as the eye could see. It really depends. A few months back four faces floating above my head in the bed. But I would say there are dark clouds pretty much everywhere and they have a life and intelligence of their own and can move extremely fast. But I would rather not talk about what is see in detail in public.
  10. The Now and the Sub-nows ?

Hi this is so intriguing and interesting. Yin overload? Dream state? I don't know about that. Actually the thought clearly comes into my head. Like last week as soon as the vibrations came I knew for a fact I was going to see my late father and there he was, in living detail, as real as he ever was. I never feel dreamy in fact I am wide awake and bright and clear because it is usually interesting and I don't want to miss anything. I am never foggy and in fact I feel more awake and aware. Hyperaware if you know what I mean. I have had this while awake and moving. Like when there are entities who are looking at me. I sense them and make the switch in a flash. No-one seems to notice me "going". And sure as anything the person or even possibly the moving mist/cloud, is there. Now I am starting the qi gong and want to see what happens. I don't know when it is not possible as I try not to force as a rule. If I ever do make this into a practice, I do intend documenting the calendar of ability though. Why? you have roused my curiosity. Please feel free to pm as I don't want to hijack the thread.
  11. The Now and the Sub-nows ?

Yes as a western person I am painfully short of accurate words. I admire the forum participants who are so good at naming what they mean. I find it hard to draw the line between stages of consciousness. I like to not think and be blank. Mostly I like to laugh and be frivolous. But when I am lying down I have to be really tired and sleep nice and fast as I have a habit of going into hynagogia as I don't like thinking before sleeping. It must be something about the position. Even this morning I was restless in bed and the vibrations came by themselves. For me the mark of a full-on trance that leads to seeing things is the vibrating, my whole body going on like an airplane engine! Normally when I think of nothing. I don't know how it started. I do remember having vibrations and soul wanderings when I was about two years old with my cousin who was three years old. He was very wise and taught me many things. We used to share dreams. Or was it "astral projection" I don't know. But we used to hold hands to sleep, we both lived at my grandmother's place. We had another language and it was as if we could share our minds. Then one day he wanted to show me something and it was a vision of his upcoming death. We held hands and he showed me the whole thing. Then he died. I spent my life missing him. I thought I fantasised it all and asked my one cousin about him (his sister). She was much older than him. She re-confirmed everything and told me he used to give signs of his death even to his parents. In the stars and in nature. I do believe it is thanks to him that I became an explorer of consciousness. But it made me very sad and to this day I feel like a loner. Thanks to him I didn't suppress what I experienced as a child and it just grew and grew. I hated it as a teen as I had no filter whatsoever. I won't give the details on a public forum but it was stuff horror movies are made of. I went into meditation in my late teens and it died down a lot but it never did stop. Books that helped me? Wow it depends with what. I mostly liked stories of other people who had to deal with these things. Always puzzled that they seem to have their lives in order while I still don't know why I am like this and don't know what I should do with it. My booklist is extremely long maybe we could discuss it elsewhere...
  12. The Now and the Sub-nows ?

Actually sometimes I wonder what truly is a trance as it seems one lives a thousand different states of mind in just one day...just that most people don't notice it. I notice it because I have a very strong habit of observing my mind. It is amazing how many different states of consciousness there are and how often people are entranced without realising it. You might enjoy the works of Dennis Weir, he goes very far with the rôle of trance on society.
  13. The Now and the Sub-nows ?

Hi there Well for the most part of my life you could not say it was an escape as it happened spontaneously. I would sense something strange and automatically switch my state of consciousness. Mostly when sensing a presence in a house and trust me it was always accurate, up to a point where people were calling me to deal with presences they could no longer tolerate. For me, ordinary consciousness was an escape at that stage because my life became a living nightmare, literally. Whenever strong trauma had happened somewhere I would know all the details. I assure you I wished I could escape forever into "normal" life. It eventually toned down (those were my early years) Knowing what is out there and that it is virtually everywhere makes ordinary life comforting. When you speak about making something look real, think about what you view as reality. You know you had a dream and you say it is not real. Is that not a contradiction? You know for a fact that you experienced it. So where does it come from? Is there such a thing as the imagination when you are not conscious? Which thoughts are real and not real? If you did not invent it into being, is it not existing information? Even lucid dreaming has its limits. Some things are yours and others will not change no matter what you do in the dream. I am one of those people who believe everything is real so I am very careful of what I create and that is the value of halting thought when one can. That is also why not thinking can make me see or hear things. I create space for information that I did not invent so that what is truly there can be seen/heard. The more I silence myself, the more I hear my surroundings. I don't know where you draw the limits of trance, but for me being very still and mindful is the start of a trance. Like the state you are in when you relax on a rock in the forest and hear the birds sing. Nothing psychedelic but already enough to drift and forget your life.
  14. Thanks for the rectification I was confused as to what you were saying. I don't agree about your view on trances but it doesn't matter. Mine give me lots of clarity and help me evolve and understand many things especially the nature of matter and subjectivity of reality. It also connects me to better sources of intelligence. But maybe we are caught up in definitions of states that may not be the same so I would prefer not to debate as our visions may have been very different in nature or origin. One man's meat is another man's poison. What I am referring to is a dimensional shift that allows me to see what my physical eyes can't see.
  15. Was this à response to me? I have a very healthy lifestyle but I was born "with the veil" as my people call it. I did smoke weed and do irreponsible things when I was young but it didn't stop my usual way of being. I don't encourage people to be careless, don't get me wrong. I am just saying it is not an absolute for every body.
  16. I find it strange that this thread is about the third eye but people are not credible because they use it? Please explain if I am not understanding... By the way having your inner vision activated and being "awakened" are not the same thing. It is but one energy area among many. People who see well with their third eye are not necessarily pure of mind or body. My cousin is extremely competent with her third eye and she is terminally ill. Others yet again do really evil things with it so are clearly not pure if heart. So is the topic the third eye or being awakened as there is a difference... I guess I lost track of what the real point is. The point is by-products of self-development? The third eye's activation being one of them? As a person who always had mine active I cannot relate to it being independant of trance. When I am fully grounded in the physical I am not using it...I have to alter my consciousness to use it (sometimes involuntarily). I don't see this as an "indulging" and feel bad that people see something so natural and normal as a sort of an indulgence. It is not an activity it is a way of seeing things that are not physical, nothing weird about it. And it doesn't indicate any work on myself nor any spiritual advancement as I have said before. Again, correct me if I am not getting your point.
  17. Interesting point because when I was at my most "talented" I wasn't watching anything. I am just as puzzled by all the talk about detoxing the pineal gland yet mine thrives all by itself with no effort from me.
  18. Healing, how long does it last?

You should read Candace Pert's book about her life as a scientist (Molecules of Emotion). She basically illustrates scientifically that the body is the mind in physical manifestation. Once you absorb this you realise that if you don't change your mental outlook on your issue, you don't heal completely because the root of it is still defective.
  19. The Now and the Sub-nows ?

Hi there It would surely be great to be able to switch off and not have any invasive manifestation. Indeed I have a habit of cultivating such gaps. But when my body is totally relaxed and I experience such a gap too efficiently (meaning I become aware of the gap and get attached to it), I automatically feel the vibrations and veer off into trance. Now, does this trance get me off track from here and now? To answer this one needs to define "here" and "now" and I find that hard to do in an absolute way. One also needs to define who or what the self is. Don't get me wrong, I understand you are referring to our "physical" reality which seems to be a specific location and point in time. But my reality has been very curved. Let me explain. I am convinced from what I have seen that we have a huge number of possible realities of which we could choose to be mindful. While I am sitting here writing this, the one who was dreaming a couple of hours back is continuing her dealings in the dream dimension. Yet it is me. The one who is sorting family feuds with the ancestors is sitting with them taking instructions. The one on a distant star is evaluating her progress. And so on and so forth. Now which one is the real me? Which one should stay focused on her "now"? Clearly none of them has this world as a home but they are all me. A part of me I will call my mind for lack of a better word, can travel between these selves and believes it is the here and now each time. That is why I like the word astral because it is flimsy and can mean anything you want it to mean though at the root is is about stars. To me there is no such thing as out of body experience because though the vibrations have seemed to propel me far and wide, they have also been followed by in-the-body interdimensional manifestations. (Like seeing which spirits are in my house at a given time). There have also been many times where I was aware of being in many places at once or in two places at once. Same with time. I have travelled backwards many times and many have travelled forward (ref Hank Wesselman) Coming to another part of your question. How to know if it is real. My first instinct is to ask "does it matter?" Or "why should it matter?" But more seriously, in this world we are a group, most closely my mom and my cousin, who share identical accounts related to the departed at about the same times and then there are others outside of the family that I hear from from time to time who fill in parts of information I don't have and re-confirm mine. When our ancestors want to communicate things to us they use tricks to let us remember the experience and to verify their presence. I have some that decide to only manifest the head so I just see floating heads so I see they are earnest. Others wear items of clothing that I can verify with others who see them. My uncle with his black and white pullover comes to mind, he appeared in it to my mom and my other cousin too. So if it is not real at least it is the group reality of a few of us. About the time thing. I know a zulu shaman lady that I have seen in places (about 10 years back) that time would certainly not allow for. We kept seeing each other in strange places that did not correspond to the time it takes to travel. It startled us greatly. She wanted to take me as an apprentice but I didn't want to commit to animal sacrifice. So she said we would one day transcend time again. Sure enough last year while in a trance induced by drumming I saw her beating my chest in a metaphor of my heartbeat. I recognised her immediately and realised I had long forgotten her name. I travelled back in a flash to our meeting point, came back and exclaimed her name. She broke into a beautiful surprised grin and the love we felt at that moment is something I cannot even describe. So yes, that whole experience was one big "now" to me. You may think I am delusional but really it does not matter. What matters to me is being aware of as many facets of what we call consciousness as possible because it makes me understand life and love in a way I appreciate deeply. I even once had a trance in which I was a fish and the water felt like a thick jelly I was swimming through. Before that I was a rose. I am glad I was mindful of that at the time because it is a lovely memory, one of the best I have had.
  20. spiritual vs non-spiritual partner?

I read your original post earnestly and wanted to give you my personal feedback, sorry I kind of hijacked your post to respond to people who responded to you without really trying to go back. On my side I have always been "weird" so I got used to not telling people. But I found that the "ordinary" persons I spoke to all had some kind of interest in the unseen. Mostly as long as I didn't put labels on it and kept to mainstream descriptions. Like dream instead of OOBE or laying of hands instead of reiki and so on. Now when it comes to romantic partners, it depends what culture you circulate in. I was attracted physically to "white" men but had the same concerns as you. I befriended men of more "exotic" origins and found no problem at all communicating who and what I was, to them. I learnt this way to get attracted to guys I would not have considered before. Now my husband is Moroccan and he knows all about me and though Islam is not favorable of "shirk", culturally Moroccans are used to talk about different dimensions of reality and "djinn" and some even consider that extra-terrestrial life exists. His grandfather was a traditional healer and he is hurt that all his stuff got destroyed even though for the sake of his religion, Islam. So he has tolerance and sympathy and even has his own premonitions and visits from ancestors in dreams. So he is never surprised at me. Have you tried seeing guys from other cultures?
  21. spiritual vs non-spiritual partner?

I love people like you who like talking and all my friends have been talkative .
  22. spiritual vs non-spiritual partner?

Sorry I wasn't knocking you. If it seemed so I do apologise. I just wrote that because I felt like an oddball for my way of functioning. I can understand what you are saying though ☺ in my case if there is anything left in one of us from the day the other person asks what is wrong of course we verbalise if it does linger. But mostly we are just inclined to leave it behind us and be in a happy and safe space. In fact you may very well be the healthier one of us two. I got burnt a lot from expressing myself and it just may be a subconscious block, but right now it feels comfortable.
  23. Hi Bums My child is going to be four years old in March. Since she started walking I have noticed a slight coordination issue. She tends to stumble once in a while. In the beginning I thought it was an issue, but then it improved over time. But for sure, she is not stable on her two feet like most other kids. When walking with her I have to be careful of my grip so that I can hold onto her at a moment's notice, as she may trip anytime. If she runs, she sooner or later falls. sometimes she doesn't, but mostly she does. If I tell her once in a while "don't fall", she's ok, so if she focusses she is ok. but when she "lets go", she falls. At the moment I have an issue with her trousers. She keeps ruining them by falling in the mud and I have to buy tons of them as I can't seem to settle for her to go to school with "dirty" clothes. The stains just won't come out. This issue has highlighted to me that she cannot go a day without falling when she plays outside. Does anyone have an exercise she can do to stabilise please? Or a mechanism of any sort to get better performance for her sense of balance ? What can this issue come from in terms of systems and energy? She loves physical exercise but I am scared she will injure herself due to her lack of stability. Thanks! A_B
  24. spiritual vs non-spiritual partner?

Nice one! You summed it up ☺
