You know, it's not a blue aura. It is actually me being blue and it's not my skin either. It's like being aware of me in another version, a bright blue version, without being in a trance. Seeing this in a normal state of conciousness is shocking to me.

Did one hour today. Was surprised to see my hands were a fluorescent blue as I thought it takes a year to see this colour?

Had my first Flying Phoenix session today. Could only handle 15 minutes! I had no idea it would take so much out of me! I am happy though as it means something is indeed happening. Had a slight headache as a result. Am more motivated than ever.

Thank you Sifu Terry that's great!

It is revealing how much commenting one finds in people who profess to have succeed ed in becoming the awareness behind the mind and how there is no thread concerning the cultivation of compassion or character. Anyone mocking the observations of others cannot be taken as a role model.

If you are so realised why do you indulge in disdain and why do you bother asserting yourself in this manner?

You know, there is nothing wrong with wanting to push the perceived limits of the possible. Testimony to the bending of reality as we know it is always good because it elasticises our beliefs.

But of course life is one big incredible experience! I really do not contest this at all By the way I am not into "mystical". For me, if it can happen, it must be natural. It's just that nature is not an open book that's all. Point being I don't like mystifying things because I believe the natural potential is endless.

Wow that is great. You are quiet a poetic guy I am not sure if I am gifted. In the first twenty years of my life it was remarkable but I had some scary experiences and turned my back on myself. Now in my forties I am no longer scared and want to be myself and it is very hard to get back to where I was.

It has been such a lonely road. And I think there are so many of us out there with this type of loneliless. It is so hard to share on a forum and in real life there is just nobody! Well nearly. My mom listens to me but she is not like me and my daughter is like me but she is small and needs me to guide her. She is three years old and already knows how to remote view without even concentrating, she just sees. In many ways I am no-where near her level and I fear she may grow up lonely. Then out there there are the money-grabbers and the unattainable masters. I did almost succeed in finding a teacher once but I would not do the animal sacrifice so I missed out on the teachings. My hope was in the spirit world but I only caught a glimpse of some teachers and I am hoping to reach a breakthrough with qi-gong... After a while you can only take so much theory from books and all you need is a reliable technique to learn from within your mind. I am on that threshold. It is a hard road, especially when you have no interest in all the quirks of highly cultural practices like Qabbalah, Egyptian magick or Wicca. There are so many ritual-based methods and I only want the cut-and-dry hardcore outcomes based stuff, no frills. However the modern neo-shamans are really not my cup of tea and are also out of reach and expensive. The eastern philosophical schools don't want you to dabble in trance work if you don't seek some kind of enlightenment and therefore give no guidance. I don't seek to blend with the oneness in my lifetime. I am not interested in whatever awakening is. I just want to learn to do healing and clearing and get on with it. Maybe qi-gong will expose me to the obstacle that stands in the way...can't wait to get my Flying Phoenix dvd's in th mail! Not easy. But I trust it will come. And you, what are you looking to learn?

The reason I wrote on this thread is because I believed it would not be a spring-board for competition and that is also why I did not look for my most unusual memory, I just wanted to testify regarding something near and dear to my heart.

Your story is beautiful and touching.

No because it does not belongs to the world of empirical reasoning. That is the dilemma of science and the origins. Consciousness creates matter, not the other way around. How do you hope to explain consciousness... To me the point is not do you explain it but rather why would you want to explain it. But then again that's me...I am one of those who feel that people waste three quarters of their energy on analytical exercise. What for?
  14. Lama Samten

I have the opportunity to attend a workshop with Lama Samten soon and wish to hear from anyone who has been to one of his sessions. Just looking for general impressions. Thanks.

  16. This is interesting. I have only ever heard the thoughts of one friend. She'd never finish her sentences. It never happened again after her.
  17. Your most amazing spiritual experience?

I don't know if anyone else will find this amazing but to me it was a revolution. I am on a quest to feel qi when in the physical world. So my exceptional experiences involve feeling qi. So it is amazing to me. The first one was when I wanted to project and I could not go very far. Normally I shoot at a very high speed, so far away that I even believe it is in another galaxy. I don't like dealing in the "real world" like my own home. Since childhood I have have weird experiences in this realm. I don't seek it out though I have also had a lot of harmless and even great experiences here with spontaneous trances which I will not go into for the purposes of this post. So anyway here I was, trying to find a guide of mine who lives extremely far away and I had incredible trouble projecting. It was very slow and enabled me to see the ceiling rippling out like liquid cement as I pushed through it. I didn't get very far but tremendously enjoyed going through the atmosphere especially where it is violet just before the exit of the last layer. I soon enough was dragged back down and enjoyed a pixelated sunrise on a beach with the water glowing like a billion diamonds of innumerable colours then I found myself back in my body. I always wait a bit before moving to let the sleep paralysis wear off. And while I was waiting I felt strong vibrations in my palms that were on my torso. I told myself "why the hell am I holding my cell phone". When I came back I realised that my palms were face-down on my solar plexus and what I felt was my "silver cord", basically I was blocking the energy eminating from the solar plexus and that why the journey was slow and blocked. To me it was amazing to find out that the chakra is something real and I was delighted to feel it for myself. The second incident was when I felt qi radiating in my entire body and being emitted by my hands, also in an astral projection for lack of a better word (I don't always know what to call these states and I have no clue as to the different destinations I reach after the vibrations). There you go. I have had a lot of interesting experiences but these stand out for me because it is my life's goal to work with energy. I can't leave often as I have a hectic amount of responsibility at home what with work making me tired as well. I hope to feel the qi vibrating in my body soon again as it was fantastic. Some people feel it daily in their qi gong and I understand if they feel there is nothing amazing about this but anyway it's my humble two cents.

Hi Sifu Terry Another question has been on my mind. In Flying Phoenix practice, where does the qi come from? Is it existing internal qi that is purified and amplified or is it environmental qi brought in? If it is environmental qi that raises a question of clearing the space. It would be great to know if there is a way of clearing the space without having to first induce a trance. According to my experience with entities and energy I have found that most habitations have lingering qi, if not straight up energy bodies from previous occupants and also residual from arguments and the like. I wouldn't want to draw that in. I have seen a post in which you advise someone to never practise energy work in a restroom and whilst I agree with you it does raise questions of absorption as environmental qi is rarely pure where we live. I am inclined to suspect a banishing circle should be established as a precaution. If you can suggest your best routine it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any advice you may offer.
  19. Anyone into astral travel?

Belief and technique are the most limiting factors.
  20. Anyone into astral travel?

Well said. Astral projection may be a by-product of purification but purification is not a sine qua non condition for astral projection. I am living proof of this as I have two blockages in my torso one of them being a result of nervous tension. This is rooted in my psyche somewhere and once it is cleared I will probably reach new heights in my abilities but right now I manage fine. And as concerns evil think of all those powerful witchdoctors being so successful on the astral plane!

Hi Sifu Terry Could you please let me know if there are counter-indications for pregnancy in the FP system?

Hi Bums I have been a lurker on this forum since a while and am happy to have made the time to become part of the community. I have had raw gifts since being a young child and have become serious about harnessing them and seriously "tuning" myself. I have ordered the first two Flying Phoenix dvd's from Sifu Terence Dunn and am here for "his" topic thread. Looking forward to discussing! Astral butterfly
