  1. mopaineikung.com is it legit?

If anyone ever wanted to know what immortality was like, it doesn’t come from sUpEr SeCrEt schools like Mo Pai, it comes from Mo Pai threads—because THEY NEVER END.
  2. Can we add a 'Wow!' Emoji to our reaction options?

How about James Brown then? WOW!!! I FEEL GOOD!!!!
  3. Zhan Zhuang - Grounded or Ungrounded

A financial incentive, and very, very bad training.
  4. Zhan Zhuang - Grounded or Ungrounded

Oops! I stand corrected and will edit. Sorry dude!
  5. Zhan Zhuang - Grounded or Ungrounded

Someone tried to offer a spontaneous form for free here in the past, and I wanted it off for the safety of practitioners. But, he insists there's no such thing as qi deviation and just to do more, and he runs a qigong clinic in UK, while also claiming to have learned from the "grandfather of qigong". Back then, it was the dawei/karen era and I was considered the troll for reporting the guy for everyone's safety while he doubled down and made himself to be the New Age kind guru who gives something for free...then expects people to come to his clinic if something goes wrong (which will, of course).

    Celebrate with a song called...Wow.

What is your intention here? We are here to talk about FP and you seem to be set on pushing your views about qigong that so far, haven't had any sources cited or qualifications presented. Please take a more sensible approach before you consider posting on this thread and derail it.
  8. Zhan Zhuang - Grounded or Ungrounded

You're not the issue, buddy. Just be open, but remember to filter.
  9. Zhan Zhuang - Grounded or Ungrounded

This is the futility of responding to people without the good faith effort or reciprocity that is expected in any conversation: This is my ultimate conclusion to such enlightened genius: Translate this: and this: One more for the road:
  10. Zhan Zhuang - Grounded or Ungrounded

The best part is that I don't need to block...I just ignore even though I can read Chinese, but I'm not going to even talk with someone who expects me to Google translate her posts without posting in both languages since she can use translate alongside her original Chinese too. A general rule I have for talking with others: don't make me cross extra bridges to understand you, meet me halfway or don't expect me to join an invitation. I already have to deal with language and cultural barriers with some teachers, and she ain't my teacher.
  11. Zhan Zhuang - Grounded or Ungrounded

I'm not even going to respond to that level of arrogance and self-certainty.

I think he should seek medical help too from a qualified TCM doctor, ideally one familiar with what he practiced. His health, even if it can recover after stopping for a couple weeks, could also have some damage that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later and may not even heal without the right treatment such as herbs.
  13. Zhan Zhuang - Grounded or Ungrounded

I thought I was going crazy since that other thread seemed to go on and on and then I went here and saw the same thing...
  14. Zhan Zhuang - Grounded or Ungrounded

    Can’t help anymore.
  15. Zhan Zhuang - Grounded or Ungrounded

No excuses. There are teachers online who can instruct you. You can either pay for quality or make something up and get exactly what you expect from mixing and matching from random people…which includes serious risks of danger and harm. Your health, your life, though.

OMG this thread is still going?
  17. Zhan Zhuang - Grounded or Ungrounded

I think you need to find a teacher instead of assembling different practices and getting feedback from different people with different systems, experience, and questionable qualifications here on an Internet forum.

I just woke up a few minutes ago, and I am already tired again after reading this.
  19. Xiang Gong - Fragrant Qigong

Tian didn't die--he went into seclusion according to Dolic, who knew his family and disputes the CCP official story. He may have died in seclusion, but that was not the year he left, let alone died. Dolic was with his family in the 2000s.

Again: healing does not work for the eyes and in general based on what you wrote even if we go by TCM, this is best used in your personal journal because this is a Flying Phoenix thread, and Sifu Terry is ultimately the only authority of how FP may heal the eyes and its general healing potential. What you wrote is a bit general and I don't see reference to how you came across this or if it is rooted in even TCM. Let's focus on FP and leave the explanations to Sifu Terry instead of conjecture, which only confuses other readers.

It's a bit hard to read your post because your formatting could be better. While your experience is valid, the problem is that it does not conform to qigong theory. All it does is speak of your own health and response to your practice rather than being the expected development for everyone. I would recommend going through the reading list on taichimania.com to clarify some conjecture you're making. In addition, the unique FP qi does not follow typical TCM theory, but it does have overlapping principles with how qi usually flows--except the FP qi is intelligent and goes where it should. While you may mention Buddhist exercises or qi, you have to specify because there are multiple types of qi and different Buddhist schools and practices, different methods of qigong....so I'm a bit lost with trying to follow what you're trying to say,but what I can see is that it's confusing and doesn't seem to fall in line with FP specifically. Your post reads more like a journal entry, so at the very least, thanks for sharing.

Fun fact: I know one variation, Kuntao Silat, a Chinese-Indonesian variation, is banned from being taught in at least Indonesia and Singapore, possibly Malaysia.
  23. mopaineikung.com is it legit?

I only ever saw one thread that went on for 50 pages before it was shut, and I didn't have time to read through it (or interest). Well, hope your rabbit hole at the Buns is comfortable (and that you all use it for more than just Mo Pai debates).

SOMAD was the term someone used on Original Dao a year or so ago and said that was what the More Pie Guy and his group are said to have preferred over WMPs. I do not know details, I only know this from second hand information from a couple people who are members there, so if you're in the know as an ad hoc representative of your group, then we go by what you say. I can't find the post as I don't use OD....and apparently have been preemptively banned from even joining. ...Not that I ever cared to join, anyway.
