Too simple. There are a lot more complexities than that and I could rattle off book-volume rants about what's wrong, but that's because oversimplifying it doesn't make it understandable to idiots nor does it make it idiot-proof, if anything, idiots latch onto it and distort it further.

While this is true that having a PhD won't necessarily indicate superior intelligence, this still doesn't make a lot of the strange allegations on YouTube or what Gerard posted legitimate.

The funny thing is, TCM is not an indicator of mastery given that Doo Wai arts donât follow TCM models with their herbal formulae or qi healing work, and the teachers I know who can fajin donât have any TCM background either.

I should probably clarify that it can be a sneaky measure for some, but not necessarily dwaiâthough Iâm a bit suspect at this point because of the misdirection and double standards, so I canât rule out the possibility entirely. I will at least give him the benefit of a doubt even if that was not extended beyond his loyalty to David Doyle. -
