Bending the Bow is ideally 18 repetitions, but you can do less to start with, as a beginner until you get there. When you are able to have perfect upper and lower body harmony, you can do less than 18 to feel the full effect. Wind Above the Clouds is ONE repetition. If you want to do multiple repetitions, you must close the form after one repetition, then open again with another breath sequence. As Sifu Terry explained before, this system does not correspond to TCM, it has its own system of health. Often, he says that the qi is intelligent and goes where it needs to, though it's been written that the Sleeper on Vol.7 and Waker-Upper on Vol. 2 are for the frontal and back lobes of the brain respectively. As far as "themes", one can look at the three static meditations on Vol.1 and presume they correspond to any of the upper, middle, or lower dantian, but that's just one way of looking at it and not necessarily true. Yes! Possibly. The qi goes where it needs to go and it is intelligent and heals what is prioritized for each individual.

Ah, becauase he's full of hot air and loves breaking wind too!

You forgot “if there are any better systems” and “video is proof”.

I wouldn’t have joined in on the usual roasting, but MegaMind/MildMouse23 is a complete jerk and refuses to apologize or recognize what a self-pitying and self-important asshole. At least ilovecoffe TRIED to get along and even offered to apologize to people if they were upset. He deserves any grief here and the inevitable health problems from his practice.

Funny thing is that I know Mo Pai students who fled Indonesia for the US because they were ethnic Chinese in danger in 1998. And I met people living in Java who think JC is no different from other dukuns there. Their opinion of WMPs is that they either never heard of them, think they’re hilarious, or have outright disdain for them. The wonderful thing is that they actually love meeting people who do other styles to compare and play with since they see more in common with different schools, and see elitism as a waste of time. Hell, the daughter of one former direct student of JC actually learned a little under me for a while, and her dad was impressed!

How to develope good intuition /decision making ?
Earl Grey replied to waterdrop's topic in General Discussion
When hungry, eat. When tired, sleep. Most people eat when it’s lunchtime, or stay up watching tv when they’re tired. Listening to the body is the beginning of intuition. If you can’t listen to it, how can you trust your gut instinct? -
Wow, MegaMind loves playing with balls. =D

Except the initial issue was that there was no attack—YOU created it. And you’re feeling sorry for yourself for the oppression you created. Typical asshole who feels sorry for himself and acts worse because he thinks people suck, and people are shit to him because he continues to be an asshole and refuses to change.

This broken record or time crystal is scratched like hell.

Right, as I do that you’ll justify yourself and still find ways to avoid the issue and refuse to apologize. It’s all on the first page for anyone to see and everyone has already seen it. If you’re not even going to consider it or apologize, no wasting my time hoping you will when you’ve consistently demonstrated you’re an insufferable asshole. Assholes feel sorry for themselves. And your behavior is consistently that of an asshole who feels sorry for himself instead of realizing what a bitch he has been.

Yeah, one big fucking personal testimonial.

It is on page one, and by the way: when I called you out, YOU EDITED IT to remove Mo Pai on page one but unsubtly kept referring to it when I warned you, and insisted I was referring to it because it “reminded you of common arguments against your group” which I didn’t even make or refer to—YOU did. So you will endure me and everyone else humiliating you endlessly until you wake up and get your head out of your asshole, acknowledge what you did, consider another viewpoint, and own it and apologize. Instead, you insist your reality and view of events is absolute. Until you decide to address that issue, you can go to hell.

You did on page one and everyone can see that. Your insufferable nature is merely being thrown right back at you. By the fruits of your practice, you’re known. You are known as an ass and an ignoramus. And that is all you will ever be.
