  1. I've come across a number of people having this from meditation. Meditation can be very detoxing.
  2. Very good thread, and nice clip. I have dealt with this. Terrible depression and anxiety and even tinnintus for a year after my 4th meditation long retreat, never had anything like it before. My meditation friend sitting next to me ended up almost suffocating, and I had to keep him from falling on his face. Bloody spirits and demons, pain in the neck. Keep meditating with clear mind, detox your body and seek medical attention if it don't clear up.
  3. Jim McMillan has passed away

I agree. I have not seen yet any love or care shared from Mr Chang or his family.
  4. The Boy With Divine Powers

Maha Sambodhi Dharma Sangha is a very powerful practitioner, and may even be a buddha.
  5. Jim McMillan has passed away

As far as back as I know,in 2010 the 2 highest students was the Indonesian head master and Jim. Jim was a trailblazer and just a really great person. We will miss him, but I'm sure he is about.
  6. Jim McMillan has passed away

Some pictures Jim wanted me to share with taobums forum: The first picture is Jim and John at John's daughter's wedding. Jim photoshopped the picture so it looked like they were standing together instead of at a distance like in the original. The second is a representation of May Yung Chen Third is John God Bless
  7. Syria

I agree. This war will be another set up war. i wouldn't be surprised even the chemical attack and the beginning is a set up. Simply business strategy for the big power players trying to keep control on the earth, oil and location. If anyone is a soldier don't waste your time fighting here.
  8. Does anyone know if Jim McMillan is still alive?

  9. Reptoid Heavenly/Angel Structure

Wonderful I haven't heard the term reptoid in a long long time.
  10. Hi all I wanted to ask if anyone in Australia is willing to allow me to stay on some natural strip, maybe living in a tent. I'll be doing neigong meditation in nature most of the time, but I can help with a wide range of work also ( I can do simple work as well a business professional level work) for maybe a meal a day of some fruit and vegetables and also to use your shower to stay clean. I'd like to do this for a couple of months until I sort out a place to relocate. Could you help?
  11. Should spirits have people's rights?

It's a smart question for this forum. Another question- in truth to what extent have negative spirits affected mankind? Do they have rights, and how are they to be managed?
  12. When John Chang says....

No kosta likes to exagerate. Practioners have been hardening and compressing their chi for years. Tibetan monks who do tummo stuff compress all the chakras. Some start from top down most start from down up.
  13. Middle DanTien: solar plexus/heart?

I have to agree with a lot of posts about mdt here. For me when I really used fire on it, it released a huge amount of negativity. This was done much later after I had filled my ldt. People who have found mdt no problem are truly blessed. From my own experience and not so much intellectual knowledge- there is communication from ldn and mdt. I believe middle dantien is in the centre of your ribs its near the heart but not the heart. The solar plexus chakra is lower down and is separate. ldn and solar plexus are easy to unravel when compared to the heart (middle dantien), is very tangled at first. This point is also imprtant for linking energy to arms.
  14. I've been learning from Jim for quite sometime, and perhaps I would be considered one of Jim's most senior students... I have to say Jim is an excellent mopai meditator and also a great person. He is one of the people I admire. My only regret is I haven't been able to communicate with him as much as I would want to. Over the many years learning through my 20s and into my 30s I have always been so impressed by his patience with the school. And I know John deep down, thinks he is a nice guy too. I want to add a little to this, being I've trained for a little while I feel a connection to the school as I have meditated for couple 1000s of hours in it's style linking to Buddhidharma and Chang Sang Feng. From the sounds of things I believe the school is in a "spiritual" decline. I wish I could help everyone out in this regard. John had the right idea to open the school up to the west. Some of us in the west appreciate this art even more then east, as does the East appreciates some things about the West more. I believe the school did not expect Jim to do so well and be so dedicated. Jim was able to accomplish so much despite living so far away, having so little time in Java, and the language barrier. To this day I think a lot of the students will have difficulty achieving his level of 2b. Remember- he has video recording of the 2b instructions. Now I would understand the locals would be very jealous of Jim.... At the ultimate level there is no room to be racist. I like people from all races, you should too. Members of the school or at least the 'head' should know there is no distinction between skin colours when we trace back the roots. Hence the art does not belong to sole pure blood 'chinese' people. School aside, John and Jim should at least patch things up as they were very long time friends and are our elders for most of us. Why would anyone encourage dissent? There are some of us who have done exceptionally well under Jim, considering. With no spoon feeding, totally isolated from inspiration abilities etc. I hope the school can consider there are some fine students here who have emerged who would like to bring back the honour to the school. You may not believe but there are some good people of all colour skins who want to bring peace and love with the art. And on a daily basis put great effort into being good humans. Warm Regards TF
  15. tummo

Hello Alwayson What does the book mean in clear light of bliss, it talks about dissolving the energy and the visons of smoke, and lights eventually to clear light? If our eyes are closed are there supposed to be visions when the energy dissolves in the charkas? When I meditate I often can't even remember what visuals occured.
  16. I really enjoyed the book. It just goes to show it doesn't matter what race you are from we are all amazing beings. I believe the school was very jealous and scared that a westerner valued and achieved more then a lot of their own flock. If you read, it says it was taken away from westerners, if this myth is true chi meditation should come very naturally for our western brothers and sisters but we have been made to be so engrossed with the way we do things currently e.g. obsession with money, power and breeding etc. I wish instead of being jealous they were proud of their western student...And accept more committed and ethical westerners. Everyone needs a big hug and be accepted when it comes to skin colour. lol. TF
  17. SSTT Energy Work

If memory serves John Chang sensed there was about 10-20 guys like him on the earth. Wang Liping has mentioned there is 1000s af ways of developing power. So where is this knowledge that answers the questions you and i seek? It's not dissappeared in thin air? The knowledge is hoarded away, usually by rich elite, from people like us. If we do learn anything its very limited, I doubt there is a single person on the forum that can do what john does. TF
  18. I've owned the book clear light of bliss for a longtime now. There is a part that describes the appearances that show up as you are dissolving the winds and drops into the chakras. mirage, sparkles, red, black, clear etc. I could be mistaken but this seems to be what highest yoga tantra is all about. My question is, how do you see these appearances if your eyes are closed in meditation? It's maybe a silly question, but would like to know thks TF
  19. I watched this movie lately after so many people mentioned it would be a good watch. Some very interesting things explained and proposed. The solutions at the end i found it to be a little weak, but the general idea is commendable and the intention is for good. I come from financial planning background in training, and I do keep my personal impression of the world economy very similar to what is described in this movie. It's radical, and not many people like to believe it so, but it is. It is true the debt security market is absolutely massive and is built to burst. We already have seen it begin to happen. It won't just be individuals but entire countries... Some of the venus ideas are nice to watch. The only problem with the ideas is, it is itself, limited by mainstream knowledge of energy production, need for food and other things. I'm sure half of us are aware here of energy from vacuum, as 1 example as well as meditative practices which encourage the body to longer need much food at all. There's a part in the movie also where it seems like to contradict itself slightly, in that part of the problem is not a tight mad leadership, but on the other hand admits and plays the drama of 1% pop controlling 40% of the economy. It's a bloody complicated problem, and we need such movies to help wake people up. We can start with our own individual realities, the new values have to be built and will be built from ground up. all the best TF
  20. I used to think similar things when i was younger, and also "i did not choose to be here" which i still sometimes juggle at times. Truth is its not that simple. And we did choose to be here, we just can't remember choosing. Just stay strong, know there is good out there. Perhaps we are a minority who are in realisation of a completely out of balance system, but the minority is growing and you are not alone mate. TF
  21. Meditation makes you dull

I don't know if you asked what you should do... But I agree with aaron you do need a teacher, you can't work it out on your own like some philosopical types believe. Some methods have taken 100s/1000s of years to perfect, and god knows where it came from and how they worked it out. However i don't agree with aaron and agree with FT88, from my own experience normal books that you buy from amazon or something are not going to help you make the big changes and realisations that the enlightened giants had. Books are good for motivation and philosophy, that's about it. Life unforunately works like scientific common sense, not like philosophy. If we use common sense we will realise we cannot possibly understand advanced reality with books of logic and reading about other people. That is why its necessary to upgrade your internal structure so we can, which can only be accomplished through energy from the long meditation. There's another parable from i think the chinese immortals- talks about a guy who is very scholarly but completely does not comprehend or produce the results, because he has not done the actual meditative work. Sometimes they call such people "armchair" taoists or buddhists, which is better then nothing but they must not kid themselves or others. Maybe scholarly focus, is what produces the "dull" effect your talking about? lol joke TF
  22. What will be the future earth society?

Hey straw It's a pretty radical idea, but i see our society as an experiment. From a mega brainwashed, contaminated, threatened, ignorant state we have to show we can come together and grow up spiritually to a high state. Perhaps the good and bad forces are the different ingredients in the lab that strengthens the test subject? And perhaps the very old scientist has the test subject in its long term best interest? Nevertheless, this is the only way- we got to continue to stop fighting and get caught up in the dramas and experience life as the omniscient observer/activator. Later, amnesty might be absolutely necessary for some of the controlling madmen, so that the future society can shed its skin and let her rip. TF
  23. Meditation makes you dull

For me on the contrary, meditation doesn't make you dull. You have better concentration and can see the big picture a lot more accurately because you become more intuitive. People perceive it as being intelligent or wiser. Your right, emotions is a big one, they are more controlled and you don't get humongous jumps ups and downs in general emotions as often. You will have a more calm peaceful state. Hmm, it probably makes you dull to others because your desires are no longer as strong for things mainstream people enjoy greatly like food, sex, alcohol, gossip, various materialisic things etc, but for deeper personal desires. If you have done 1000s of hours it can be a balancing act to lower your desires for others in normal society and maintain meditative practice. But maybe not...Just speaking from my own experience. TF
  24. My Dantien is < 2% full

oops quite an old 1 isn't it.
