I find Saw Palmetto has an effect of penis size, when I take it my penis seems to get bigger when erect and flacid, I think it has something to do with an incresed blood flow to the lower extremities.

Its a good book, but when you see how simple the exercise is you will not believe it. I actually stopped doing it, but while I was doing it I did have an increse in mental clarity and concentration.

My acupunturist/TCM doctor is a man of few words, I asked him what was in it and he replied "just some hebs from my province in China", I like the guy he has helped me alot over the last few years and is a very smart man, but Chinese doctors want you to just follow there advice and dont ask questions, I asked him about his beliefs and he is a Daoist who is a Chi Kung practitioner, his favourite words are very good, makes you strong, much energy, more chi.

He assured me it was all natural, reports from other customers are that it works better then Viagra and some people can have sex upto 5 times per night.

Taoist Health Exercises book is very very simple, out of his 3 book I own I like this one, it has a sections on breathing, meditation, massage, seated ba daun jin and herbs, its really basic but probably has every thing most people need. Im always searching for something special in books and have just recently came to the realization that I read too much and dont practice enough, I have purchased upwards of 30 books in the last 2 years and have decided to stop and start practicing more. I feel I now have all the reference I need and I need to "Just do it", Ive made a commitment to practice Terry Dunns Basic Seated Meditations for at least a year and master them before progressing to his higher meditations, my new philosphy is basic and simple is best. I have a fair few tattoos and Im currently in the process of getting more now, here is what I have, Lower Back - I have my surname in old engish, its who I am and will never change Left/Right Elbows - I have stars which represent direction and protection (old sailor tradition) Left upper arm - A mans ruins sleeve, it has dice, 4 aces, devil women, swallow and spiders webs, it basically represents all the vices which can bring a person down and it also means luck in adversity. Right Upper Arm - I have a skull sleeve, skulls represent physical mortality and the belief in the higher spirit, when the body dies the skeleton remains but the spirit has moved on. Basically its a reminder that we are mortal, in latin "momento mori". What I like about tattoos is that they last forever, they are with you for till the end, they become part of you and remind us that we are alive. All my tattoos have meaning ,but they dont have to have meaning just enjoy them for the artwork.

I have just finished watching Terry Dunns "Chi Kung for health, 6 seated meditations" and must say was the best instructional chi kung DVD I have ever seen, the movements are simple and the Chi Kung meditations start with simple breathing techniques combined with static and slow moving arm movements. These 6 meditations focus on circulating chi through the body and releasing tension while bringing about deep stillness. I give it 5/5. Daniel

Now purports to reveal Christianity: Pranic Healer who Mantak Chia copied
DanC replied to GrandTrinity's topic in General Discussion
It has good information on, Mindfullness Meditation Twin Hearts Meditation Energetic Hygine Modified 5 Tibetans Modified Mentalphysics Exercises In regards to the Pranic healing stuff, it seems very simple but I guess it just doesn't gel with me, he goes into detail about our energy body and how we can cleanse and strengthen our aura through moving our hands over various parts of our bodies clearing the aura and chakras. For the price its very good value.. Daniel -
I have read a couple of books on Zen Meditation and they never seem to mention the effect meditation has one ones Chi flow, I have read many books on Taoist Meditation and they seem to focus more on Chi flow, why is this???

I have started drinking Dandelion Tea every morning and have noticed some great benefits, after drinking it my mind seems more alert and focused and my body more energized. I did a little reading and Dandelion seem to be a great tonic for the Liver, Kidneys, Gallbladder and intestines, it improves digestion, purifies the blood and is a mild diretic. Cam/Neimad, I hear what you's are saying, but I think you can still have sexual desires and cultivate, If I didnt desire sex I think it would be alot less enjoyable, but everyone has to find there own path, my path is to cultivate and not restrain form sex and sexual desires. Dan
-
A man who doesnt desire sex has lost his mojo (life force), he is lost and is no longer healthy, we are sexual beings, we cannot ignore our sexual thoughts and feelings we must not repress them.
-
To me sexual desire is a good thing, sure too much of anything is bad, but sexual desire is one reason why I practice energy clutivation, to enhance sexual energy. Who wants to go through life with no sexual desire, life is meant to be enjoyed and sex brings about great enjoyment...

I received this book today and it looks good, it is very clearly written with scientific explanations for why this technique works, its a very simple Arhatic Yogic technique for energizing the higher energy centres in the body, I will report back after a couple of months of practice to report my results with this technique. DC

I used to buy a different book each week and then realized that I have yet to fully utilize most of the techniques that I have learnt, I have decided to stick with Yin Yoga and one other meditation. I think the key to good results is simplicity and consistency. DanC

The other day I received my Yin Yoga book and I really like this practice, after 30mins I feel amazing and really like staying in these postures for a long time. My question is does anybody have any of the Taoist Yoga DVDs by Paul Zink, Im looking at getting the beginner DVD as thats my level of flexibility, also does the DVD cover any meditations. Daniel

Too much retention can lead to problems, I personally think it is no good for mental health in the long run, its in our DNA to procreate and have sex, we have to ejaculate every now and again. Anyone know of any Qigong,Yoga, meditation authors that dont adhere to strict retention, most books I have read over the years all say too much ejaculation is bad, but seriously unless you are a monk why would you want to go through life not experiencing the joy of ejaculation, it doesnt make sense. There has to be some middle ground here, do you think that retention is going to make you live any longer then someone who cultivates but doesnt practice retention, I really dont think you so. Daniel
-
1. Become as strong as possible in mind, body and spirit 2. Feel good most of the time
-
No matter how I look at it, the idea of retention just does not seem right, I do agree that maybe I ejaculate too often but I think this is due to the testosterone increase I get from taking tibulis. Other great benfits are recovery, you recover from exercise quicker and gains also come quicker on Trib, I think in todays society with all the processed foods and chemicals in our diet most men are a little low on testosterone, taking something natural to jack these levels up can definatley increase our physical and mental health. Maybe I will cut down to 3-4 days per week for enjaculation and monitor how I feel compared to everyday. Daniel
-
Take Tribulis, no joke this stuff builds jing, if I wanted I could probably shoot 3 loads a day with ease, but I generally only do one a day.

I ordered my copy from amazon yesterday and it should arrive in a week or so (Im in Australia), after reading everyones positive comments regarding this book I had to order it, I really like the idea of stretching to increase Chi flow through the meridians and entering stillness. Sean, does the book also have meditation and breathing exercises (pranayama)? Daniel
