Zork, People like Starjumper have an axe to grind against us. They call us morons, WIMPS, and worse even. They accuse us of all kinds of things, anything they can throw at us to attempt to discredit us. This behavior would normally result in suspensions for personal attacks but when used against our group it is permitted. Sentry is correct in what he states they want to see us discredited so they can rule the roost on this forum. Certainly, no one in our group is perfect, but we do the best we can. We preserve the teachings John provided Jim and Kosta without alteration, as well as the videos and other recording teachings they brought back of him. We do not charge anyone anything and merely want to keep the teachings alive and unadulterated for other serious seekers like ourselves. That is the best we can do until we can find another teacher willing to be investigated by scientists and medical doctors on camera.

Perhaps other systems allow absorbing yin without direct contact with the earth, and at different points at the body. We do our best to listen only to teachers who can provide good evidence their practices lead to real abilities. Lots of people claim lots of things, but few people can prove they are worth listening to.

If what you are after is real psychic phenomenon, in my opinion, you should stick to systems that can offer good evidence collected on video with scientists present. You need a way to be certain what you are learning is correct, true and accurate. If you are really serious, focus on what there is good evidence for, not what random people on the internet claim. Or you could just sit on the ground which is what was originally taught, the grounding wire was to be used if sitting on the earth was not possible. I have a mat that sits over top a pillow that I have woven out of thick copper wire, which is then connected to a grounding wire which then goes to a grounding rod outside. John invited a group of scientists and medical doctors into his home they checked him with a metal detector and found no metal in his body, they got an indoor demo, they suspected that something inside his house causing the effects so they went outside for another demo, and then they have a third demo at a random location they chose just in case there was a device on his property causing the effects. If you can provide that same level of evidence for your abilities please do otherwise sit down and be quiet.

Starjumper, What you have posted is not the same instructions Jim gave our group. That is the truth. Every single aspect of training that actually matters has been removed from your "instructions", I suspect intentionally. As one example grounding during meditation is absolutely required, John made sure to impart the importance of this requirement to both Jim and Kosta. What bothers me most is all the people that are going to injure themselves following your "instructions" that omit all the most important aspects of training. They will blame Mopai for their illnesses even though they were never actually practicing it. This comes from Jim's own book, but his private instructions also reflect this. Your "instructions" do not include it. Every other critical aspect of practice has been removed from your "instructions" as well. If you think Jim is lying listen to Kosta:

I can safely say John wasn't using static electricity for his demo. Now he might have had a device hidden perhaps somehow it was non metallic and in a body cavity and that is why the researchers missed it.They did their best to rule out fraud. An x-ray in addition to the metal detector would have been ideal.

You would need to have macroscopic effects demonstrated on camera with scientists and medical doctors present to do their best to rule out fraud, and not once but most likely dozens of times. People just aren't going to listen to quotes from studies.

You would need some sort of demonstration that had macroscopic effects creating a voltage, registering on a gradiometer, powering an LED, etc. Something that can be physically seen and demonstrated. Lots of people believe in faith healing, yet even if you brought us a double blind, placebo controlled study that shows faith healing worked even if it was done at the mayo clinic I don't think most here would accept it.

Religious people base their beliefs on faith and the personal testimony of others. Rational people base their beliefs on observation and objective evidence. There is no reason to make this more complicated than it needs to be Nungali.
