No Kar3n, Please go back and look again, the content of my posts was edited, and I edited it back several times.

We can only quote publicly available material in public as per an oath we take, unlike you, I can keep my promises

These are quotes from Kosta's book the Magus, quoting John directly: “In Level One you fill up your dantien with yang ch’i. You must be in actual meditation to achieve this, and it is time dependent." "Perhaps in one hour of sitting, he is actually in meditation for 1.3 minutes. That means he is meditating only 2.2 percent of the time, which means that if he sits for one hour a day, he needs ten years of training ..." "Meditation is like the borderline between sleep and waking, between consciousness and unconsciousness.” "I will enter total meditation—like the borderline between sleep and waking, okay?"
-
Were any of us able to enter the state of "actual meditation" in an hour or so, then it would make sense for us to meditate for 30 minutes after attaining that state and do that every day. Entering the state of "actual meditation" allows us to work smarter, and not harder, so that is what we aim for. If you wish to do more work, accomplish less in the time you spend training, then sitting and breathing is the better option for you.
-
1 hour in "actual meditation" earns you $100, and 1 hour sitting and breathing earns you $2. You can get there sitting and breathing, it just takes longer. We present both what Jim provided and Kosta provided, but we don't alter the contents of either. I hope that makes sense.

You can certainly do that, and it will take much longer, as it is a less efficient way of doing things. I am not saying to wait till retirement, only that meditating an hour at a time and sitting and breathing is accomplishing 2% of what being in actual meditation would accomplish because this is what John himself said. We present Jim's instruction unaltered, which by the way is not the same document Small Dream has provided, not that it matters. We also present this as well as private instruction from Kosta: https://www.thedaobums.com/topic/44486-long-men-pai-nei-gong-and-mo-pai/?page=46#comment-778937 These are quotes from Kosta's book the Magus, quoting John directly: “In Level One you fill up your dantien with yang ch’i. Earl Grey was who I was replying to.

I want to be clear when you say "their own forum" this is referring a forum, but not ours. In public situations like this, it is not an option to quote private material, only publicly released material.
-
It is what John taught, and that is the end of the argument. It isn't our opinion on how things are, it's how things are.
-
That is exactly what John taught, it is not my opinion on the matter. What we do is preserve all of these things and present them to people who are serious. We don't open up Jim's emails and change the wording of what he wrote. Does that make sense to you?
-
Earl, Please see my post here: https://www.thedaobums.com/topic/44486-long-men-pai-nei-gong-and-mo-pai/?do=findComment&comment=778937

We present both Jim and Kostas private work to students, we don't alter the words they wrote. If you believe we are liars, then believe that.

Well here is a bit from Kosta's public work the Magus of Java: "“In Level One you fill up your dantien with yang ch’i. You must be in actual meditation to achieve this, and it is time dependent." "Perhaps in one hour of sitting, he is actually in meditation for 1.3 minutes. Believe what you like small dream. We present what Jim and Kosta brought back and nothing more, if you think we are lying then think that.
-
I would like to make it clear nothing we present is altered. All pieces from Jim or Kosta are presented unaltered. We present both.
-
Small Dream, It is also true that John Chang himself said that sitting and breathing was not "actual meditation", and that a student sitting and breathing for an hour a day would take 10 years to fill the LDT. That sitting and breathing is approximately 2% as effective as "actual meditation". I guess it depends if you want to put a lot more time and effort into something than necessary. Can you sit and breathe and fill the LDT in 10 years at 1 hour per day, yes you certainly can.

I don't know if that is a good idea dawei, he might start vibrating his third eye at the 18th octave to achieve the cosmic resonance and make you start having an O at the D and smelling like poop because of electrochemical jing chi octave conversion, or something like that.
