I agree with Lessdaomorebum I have been here since June 2016 and would say that I have encountered immature, argumentative, punishing, alienating, controlling, and in fighing persons in my journey here. I have narrowed my attention given to two other men close to my age, Karl and MH. I have seen Karl harrased and made fun of. MH has provided clinical evidence to support his argument on my Post, only to be met with your wrong and I will tell you why. Even with my mediation and intervention and suggestion that points of view does not make you right and I am wrong. It is just what it is, and enjoy it as a teachable moment. I too think that those that talk about Chi think that they have something special that sets them apart form the rest of the crowd. I think that they want the easier softer way to doing the necessary work that it takes to learn or Master anything. They are "posers." They are annoyingly juvenile. If Karl and MH disappeared there would not be a reason for me to stay on. For a person to want to change it has to be painful enough to change. These guys are just Face Booking. The reason I stay on is because I see it as service work, and an opportunity to learn from those that are willing to give it away without taking my questions and answers personally.

Your girlfriend may be angry because she wants to get pregnant. I would guess that if someone came to me and said that their girlfriend is angry at him because he doesn't come inside of her, I would ask how it is that he is controling her by this behavior, and how is it that she is still in the relationship. I would also ask this person if they thought they suffered from a sexual anomaly, an sexual disorder, identity disorder, depression, anxiety, or women issues. You have been given advise and insight on your dilemma from others on this post, and I have yet to read that you have made a choice to get on with your life by letting this girlfriend go, or begin giving her what she wants. Both choices would be a win/win for both of you. In your present situation you remain in control of the relationship which is emotionally abousive for her. For me, your behavior is beyond admiralble, honorable, or spiritual. Your heart does not seem pure and your mind clear as is evidenced by your threads. So, what would a true Taoist do in the situation you are in?

Good luck is not an outcome for a Taoist. I believe that behaviors can be made to more complicated then they have to be. If my intention is to slow down the rumination than doing a full body relaxation and following up with a guided meditation will work well. My personal experience in developing higher consciousness and self awareness has been through self monitoring, realty testing, prayer and meditation and service work. Attraction rather than promotion is a good principle to live by. When I watch, read, or listen to self acclaimed Shamans, or Masters of Chi Gong or Neigong, I am not seeing a person that has anything different than you or I. I just see an average guy there doing his thing, and getting paid for it. But that is just me, and I offer it as a controversial point. Not a critism of those that have commented here.

I don't get to ask the questions, I just ask them and wait for the answer. If there is no answer, I may ask again. If no answer, I won't ask the same question again. I will express an response about the person's feelings not answering the quesion, or I may not. Depending on how I think that my response will be received. I looks like you have a lot on your plate. My advice is to prioritize your stressors and approach them one by one, thus reducing or eliminating your stress and thereby giving yourself a feeling of control or empowerment over your environment. I was curious about this Neigong. So, I looked for it on Youtube. It looks very much like using your own muscle groups as resistant training,,,like pushing up against a door jam. I work out three times per week, and take off on the weekend. I do resistance, cardio, weight, and balance training and have been since the 70's. I do not see the difference between Neigong and my working out. I know that if I continue working out that the probability of my living into my 90's is high. Tai Chi practioners claim the same outcome. I want to be cut. It makes me look younger than my years and will give me longevity. So, what is the advantage of practicing Neigong if the outcome is the same as working out for me.

Nungali, I wondered if you live as an Aborigines? I made an assumption about this thought a few threads back. I also wonder if you have the skills to survive in a harsh environment. Would you have made it to the mountain? I have seen a reality show where a man and a woman volunteer to be dropped into the wilderness and be challenged with staying alive. I think, if I remember correctly, that at least one of them has some kind of skill about surviving in the wilderness. But how about you Nungali? Tell me a story where you have met the challenge of surviving under harsh conditions. It would make for good reading. Thank you. And then I will tell you my story.

Like I have commented in another thead people generally do not want to think or research. They leave it up to others, like the media to feed them information, and then they decide. Ralis, you don't have to read what I believe and assess as true. I like to keep my comments as real as I can. If you were offended it means you took it personally...which possibly means that you may hold yourself above common man and didn't like that a professional holds himself and everybody else to the same standard. We are all equal no matter the station in life the person may hold. The media has not made an issue of Trumps affinity for nuclear weapons. And if he did have an affintiy for nuclear weapons, he wouldn't be the only person e.g. our military, those that produce nuclear weapons, the citizens of the U.S. And I say this keeping it simple because the citizens of these United States would be arguing for disarmament.

Trump is a common sense guy, just like the rest of us. Put yourself in the position of protecting your family, and you have a very big weapon. The enemy has a stick to defend himself. Remember when I told you guys that I taught Ecology. I did and it was in a Maximum Security prison for females. I have propagated African Violets in a sealed pickle jar, and they lived without Carbon Dioxide. I never gave it a thought until you guys talked about it. So, here are some thoughts on the universe and earth. After the big bang, debris went out from the center and traveled through space. Earth landed just right and was able to create and sustain life. Oxygen was created by a plant called algea according to the scientist that said so. Was he absolutely right. I don't know. Do we have a scientist or two in this discussion, or are they really good researchers. I don't know. But the question still remains a topic. And it is about the origin of mankind. Not the origin of oxygen. So, is the question a religious or anthropological one. If it is an anthropological question than we are still on target to also bring in the physical sciences and humanities. As a psychologist I don't understand the attacks on Karl. He is really good at arguing theoretically and philosophically. And if he makes a error or two, so what? Allow him to be who he is. Without Karl, we would be less one in our group. And that is not good. I get the idea that Nagali is living like an Aboriginal Australian. I don't see anyone making fun of him. Brian seems to a professor of sorts. No one is making fun of his logo as if he could be a mad scientist. I mean look at that face. Would you listen to anything that came out of that mouth? But we do, because he makes sense.
