  1. High libido Kundalini

Many people show up to the forum after messing themselves up with books, only to be helped by the advanced members of our community. But you have a point - always good to be cautious and listen to your intuition
  2. My post was just a representation of how I've felt energy blocks and how I conceptualize it. I don't know much about Daoist medicine. This has not been my experience. I've had some very powerful Reiki sessions, and blockages were still there. But I encourage you to try it yourself, and let me know how it goes for you.
  3. It's my view that the blockages/issues are what cause the stress in the first place. The reason people respond differently is the same reason people have different personalities - no two people are the same. I don't think of blockages like a clog in a pipe; if it were that simple we could just call a plumber! It's more-so deep karma structures and ego stuff. Could be from childhood trauma, past life stuff, habits and fears. Once you "unblock" that stuff, you discover there's more under it. As you clear it out, yes your body works more efficiently and you have less stress and happier. But there's always new stuff, like the layers of an onion. The parts of the body is more how your mind translates it. Say you have a block/issue that revolves around how you've always wanted to tell your Mom how she mistreated you. That block may be located somewhere in your subtle energy body, yet you translate it as a lump in your throat (communication) and pain in the heart/chest area. It may not be physically present in your throat - it goes much deeper than that, but it feels that way. Of course I only speak from my own experiences and how I've come to feel and clear my own blocks. Others may have their own thoughts or views.
  4. In my view it’s the qi first. Energy hits the blockage/structure, then causes the mind to react with thoughts and emotions. Truly clear the blockage, and you don’t get those thoughts anymore. “Well” you say, “what if I think about a particular issue and get an emotional response? Wouldn’t it be the mind first, then the feeling of heat and qi?” My view on this would be the two are not as separate as you think. 😊 if your on a torture table, your only concern should be how to get off. Finding out how their tools work or other details are a secondary concern. Once you get off the table, you can clearly see the setup.
  5. Gospel of Thomas

You can never go too far or be out of reach. I also feel like we are all the “one sheep” that he loves most. We are not separate, and no one is more loved than another. 😊
  6. Gospel of Thomas

    107. Jesus said, "The (Father's) kingdom is like a shepherd who had a hundred sheep. One of them, the largest, went astray. He left the ninety-nine and looked for the one until he found it. After he had toiled, he said to the sheep, 'I love you more than the ninety-nine.'"

Hello, TwinFlame, and welcome. Your membership is approved and we're happy you found your way to us. We look forward to accompanying you on some of the way that you still have to go. Please take the time to read the post pinned at the top of this Welcome page and take a look at the forum Terms and Rules. This covers all you need to know when getting started. For the first week you will be restricted to ten posts per day but after that you can post as much as you like. Also, until you’ve posted fifteen times in the forums, you’ll be a “Junior Bum” with somewhat restricted access and will be allowed only two private messages per day. Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you, Fa Xin and the TDB team Hi TwinFlame, Good luck in figuring things out... sex can be a tricky subject. If you've been together for 3 years, sometimes it slows down, and the relationship goes into a deeper aspect than just physical sex all the time. As you said, things are cyclical. Just try to be patient and not worry about it too much. Enjoy the forum. You are welcome to jump right in to the ongoing discussions, revive an older thread, start a new thread of your own, or start a discussion in the "Newcomer Corner" sub-forum to expand on your introduction or ask general questions to help you get started. May you enjoy your time here. Fa Xin

  9. Base as awareness, Watch the mind

Hypothetically, I think it's saying the soul/spirit *IS* the awareness. There's no separation, as these ideas transcend that (you and I are not separate, therefor, what are you going to steal?) If you believe there's an individual soul, and that soul is able to be stolen... I'm not saying your right or wrong ... but it would conflict with the whole view that dwai is talking about.

  12. Is any of this proven or real?

I don’t know. I would say try to read the Tao Te Ching and see if you can find anything. In my experience, Daoism is more about feeling/heart... than logic/mind stuff or belief systems.
  13. Is any of this proven or real?

Something just doesn’t sit right with striving for physical immortality. Like... what’s the most unnatural thing you can think of? It doesn’t sound Daoist, the way that I understand the TTC. 😊 But I’ve been wrong before - it does happen. I should just make that my signature. 😄
  14. Is any of this proven or real?

Thank you 😊 But what I mean is more like your consciousness surviving, as a separate noncorporeal form (light body), rather than your spirit returning to the source or being reincarnated.
  15. Is any of this proven or real?

imagine if immortality really means an immortal spirit and not physical immortality. That your consciousness would survive death (or that you actually had a choice in where you go...)
  16. DESTINY?

Thanks, yes. I agree. I see the stitches, not because I try to see them, they just appear. I don't worry about pulling, unraveling or wearing... and don't even worry about seeing the stitches. I leave it all up to the sweater Gods, as I don't know much about embroidery to begin with...

  20. enuffing - daoism in ordinary life

I've been thinking about his page every time I ponder having a second cup
  21. DESTINY?

Once you see the stitches, then what? Do you pull and unravel? Or wear the sweater ?
  22. DESTINY?

    Very nice 😊
  23. DESTINY?

So do we accept this ? Or we don’t have a choice either way ?
  24. DESTINY?

I’ve always stayed away from “manifesting”, as I probably don’t know what’s really good for me. I think i know, then I get it and it turns out to be not so good for me.
