  1. Psychic Attack

I don’t really do much shielding these days either. Once upon a time, I experimented with many different kinds of things... from Banishing rituals to visualizations. For me, they were more trying to block out the “noise” that was around, rather than a specific attack. IE, troubled family members, random strangers. Over the years i learned that when something made me uncomfortable, it was more to do with me and my own personal issues. On the very rare occasion I feel it’s an actual directed type of thing, I’ll try to face it and accept it. Fighting it makes it worse IMO.
  2. Psychic Attack

Fun interaction between you guys. It’s cool to see how energy can immediately transcend distance and any other perceived barrier.
  3. Ausar a Fraud?

    Oh damn!
  4. Psychic Attack

I have a friend who went through something similar. As a kid, it was way too intense for her - so she learned to shut it off at will (or at least to tone it down).
  5. Psychic Attack

Pretty intense. Your wife sounds very gifted to pick up something like that. Does calling the higher beings usually vanquish such visitors? What do you get intuitively...? Do you believe they have some goal or reason for something like that? Thanks... Hope you don’t mind the queries .. my curiousity abounds with an interesting topic like this 😊
  6. Psychic Attack

Just curious, how does one know they are under psychic attack? What are the symptoms?
  7. Ausar a Fraud?

I downloaded the video... what is this supposed to show me exactly? Doo wai doesn't like Ausar?
  8. Ausar a Fraud?

I don't know why, but this picture is hilarious. It seems completely random... thats probably why its so funny to me...
  9. I think some of these techniques are aimed in driving the person mad, thereby dropping all ego and identity during your inevitable psychotic break... Just kidding around. I say give it a shot and tell us how it works.
  10. How to cultivate detachment?

I see. I understand... Uncomfortable circumstances are not fun to go through. The detachment that ive experienced hasn’t really come from any one thing, just more of a natural byproduct from the sum total of things unfolding over the years. I kind of reached a point point where I accepted it was mostly out of my hands. No matter how much I tried to change things, the chips fell where they’d fall anyway. That’s what I meant by acceptance. Some people focus this into God or Shiva or Jesus. There’s lots of power in deities. Anyways, From this letting go, a naturally detached state arose. But I did not intend for it to happen. I placed my focus on spirit, and the material stuff naturally detached. “In this world but not of this world”
  11. How to cultivate detachment?

Observation can be a useful tool for beginning. But at some point you’ll have to come back to the things your running from. Acceptance of everything, especially the stuff that makes you want to detach... the stuff like expectations from others. Your not seperate from it, it’s very much there. Instead of detaching, try full immersion and acceptance. Dive right in and face it. Then you can observe.

  13. Buddha Did Not Know

Thanks for answering my question and sharing your views. 😊 I don’t do much debating on scriptures. But you raise some interesting points. It’s always unfolding isn’t it? We’re never really “done”. 😊 My experience has pointed to the “emptiness” experience, and it’s hard to deny such a thing once you’ve seen it. But I have no investment in emptiness, and have no desire to try and change your view. Cheers!
  14. Buddha Did Not Know

Whats your take on the Heart Sutra? That one is my focus lately.

  18. Will anyone share the LMP secrets with me?

If you were banned from some place, why would you still want to work their techniques? Maybe it’s a sign your path lies elsewhere. Just a thought.

  22. So Many Qigong Traditions : How To Approach ?

I do Qigong because it gets me moving ... it gets me twisting and turning, massaging my organs and helping with digestion and stretching the body. It gets me breathing deeply, helping the lungs to clear stuff. I also feel centered and relaxed when I finish. It’s a nice start to my day. I try not to concern myself with what others are doing - or why.
  23. I wonder if it's the image of the smoke, or the intention behind both you (the viewer) and the high priest shaman named Dave?

Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you, Fa Xin and the TDB team Welcome Heluchua, Many of the "practices" in Daoism are interpretations and techniques from people trying to get closer to the nature of Dao. Things like Inner Alchemy, the rituals in some Daoist schools and Tai chi chuan even - they are all peoples efforts to understand the unnameable Dao. Many schools of thought - no one more right than another. Either way, I hope the posts here will help to shed light on the different practices.
