Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you, Fa Xin and the TDB team Hello S01000, Welcome to the forum. I'm sure you'll find a lot of advice on what to do. My thoughts on your situation would be to maybe take a break from the energy practices, and maybe spend some time grounding yourself. It's good to listen to your body and your intuition - if its making you feel uneasy... probably not the best to force it or try to power through it. Good luck! Nice. I hadn't thought of that, but good deductions. Could be a deep meaning for that. Or the coin maker had a square peg on his machine. Maybe we will never know... but I prefer your answer

This one for me is about moving beyond the body, realizing you are a soul and part of God. Adam seemed to forget this, and got preoccupied with his (physical) body, according to the account in Genesis.

85. Jesus said, "Adam came from great power and great wealth, but he was not worthy of you. For had he been worthy, [he would] not [have tasted] death."

After âwakingâ, realize that no one was asleep!
Fa Xin replied to dwai's topic in General Discussion
Furthermore, while I do feel that residing in this awareness is the key to the unfolding weâre talking about.... it can take a long time for it to stabilize... but this just brings us back to the age old âsudden vs gradual realizationâ debate among Buddhists and others (my personal opinion is both are experienced at various points). Since we are all awareness, though... none of it really matters... we all return there eventually đ- 56 replies

After âwakingâ, realize that no one was asleep!
Fa Xin replied to dwai's topic in General Discussion
I think the idea of "Neo Advaita instant awakening" - as some put it - is good for realizing this awareness - which goes beyond "just this body". It is merely a shift of perception. It's an important movement for the "real work" to begin, but in my experience, it wasn't a magic cure all, no matter how much I tried to tell myself otherwise... Fa Xin was still there with all of his hangups... but there was also a "quiet, stable base" that was not there before... (or maybe it was there all along? )- 56 replies

Good luck in your pursuits and best wishes to you, Fa Xin and the TDB team Hello Bilal, Glad to have you here. Psychology and spirituality are interesting bedfellows. Grounding is surely important. I would also mention that - like all forms of meditation - to try to "push away the bad energy" is another form of holding onto the connection of that energy. Try to let it flow through, and remind yourself it's all just emptiness, anyway. Thank you for sharing... that's definitely a way of "knowing the body" Would this be "Transcending the body" as well?

84. Jesus said, "When you see your likeness, you are happy. But when you see your images that came into being before you and that neither die nor become visible, how much you will have to bear!"

Wow, this makes a lot of sense. In my own personal practice, I could never really "see" the father. So the "disclosed" part of the verse... just means you experience the light?

This verse is awesome... To me, I get the impression of "the light is NOT yours" ... it's from the Father/God" Transcending ego... the Holy light is not from "Fa Xin" (image). People look at me (Fa Xin) but do not see the light from my image alone... "He will be disclosed, but his image is hidden by his light" ... this is a very interesting line... any ideas what he means by this?
-
83. Jesus said, "Images are visible to people, but the light within them is hidden in the image of the Father's light. He will be disclosed, but his image is hidden by his light."
-
What would this last line mean, if we are speaking more literally: "whoever has discovered the body, of that one the world is not worthy." This line makes me think there is indeed a deeper meaning to the term "body", though I initially thought it was a flesh and bone body too...

The Parent's Tao Te Ching: Ancient Advice for Modern Parents
Fa Xin replied to Mig's topic in Daoist Discussion
Hi Mig, Regardless of the legitimacy of a translation, where it came from or the time it was created ... donât you know good advice when you hear it? Since we are not seperate from nature... since we are indeed a very big part of âall thisâ... we have that truth inside of us, that resonates with its likeness. Thatâs all the DDJ is pointing you to IMO... itâs a roadmap to discovering your own place in all of this. Your own true nature. In my experience, I find the DDJ to be a very heart centered book. Itâs about feeling and intuition. The inner arguments regarding âif itâs right or notâ will not benefit much. All you have is the text thatâs before you, and the opportunity to benefit from applying it to your life. My interpretation of the DDJ changes slightly each time I read it. And I would hope it would!!! Things are always changing... Theres âhaving it rightâ ..... and thereâs âhaving it right for youâ. One doesnât change.. and the other one is always changing. Neither way is more right than the other. Cheers đ -
The Parent's Tao Te Ching: Ancient Advice for Modern Parents
Fa Xin replied to Mig's topic in Daoist Discussion
Its my opinion the DDJ can be interpreted for many of life's situations in a successful way. Kind of like, nature follows certain rhythms, and the DDJ teaches you how to read and play music. -
I felt the 741hz at my third eye, and the 285hz at heart... 639 seemed to be at third for me too. Fun sounds! I liked the 285 the most...
