Yes, one of my favorite themes also. Thanks

Iâve been watching âChernobylâ on HBO and have become fascinated with radiation energy. Itâs an invisible force, we canât feel or see it... yet it blasts through everything, corrupts our cells and dna, even makes electronics malfunction. What a mysterious power, and how crazy are we, humans, to have harnessed such a force.

Thanks for the reply and your thoughts. I listened to a talk on grace today and it is a very mysterious and wonderful part of the Christian teachings. Many times when we least expect it, the spirit moves on us and changes us for the better. Do you have any favorite verses youâd like to share?
-
Cool view. What about the verse you quoted? Can you go into more details, regarding the full wisdom? Also what do they mean by close and open?
-
Powerful verse here. I think it brings more context into the previous quote too. To me it says, Once youâve aligned your will with the will of God (or notice thereâs no difference between the two...) heaven and earth come into alignment (as within so without). Interesting theory about the binding and loosing meaning energy stuff, Jeff. Does loosing mean letting go of stuff, and binding meaning holding onto stuff?

Human Magic : Degenerating Every Tradition

Were you there with them, Nun? That whole scene was very interesting from the footage Iâve seen. Lots of elements at play and strange motives afoot. -
Was reading today and came across this one... any thoughts? "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven" Matthew 16:19

Up to you đ

Yes... for me personally, I grew up a Catholic, and my parents âmade meâ go to Church and do all the stuff that goes with it - Sunday school, confirmation, communion. I hated the formal, boring rituals but I still believed in Jesus. Even as a kid, I was drawn to Taoism and Buddhism because it resonated much more with me. Meditation and inner discoveries. So I went the Asian route from my teens to late 20s. Almost 30 years from the time I was in CCD (Sunday school), seems Iâve come full circle and returned to Jesusâ teachings, having discovered the mystical path of Christ. This was what I was searching for ever since a kid. Iâd like for others to know the deep, inner path of Christianity exists... itâs just not what theyâre selling. Gnostic simply means âKnowingâ... experiencing for yourself, rather than having it be a far off concept.
-
Yes, the thread clearly says âmysticalâ... which legally allows us to say whatever we want and get away with it without repercussions or excommunication from the Church. All joking aside, I enjoy the banter. Many people see the Bible in only one way... Iâd like to think an alternate view is good for the soul, at least to show that the teachings go deeper than just Fire and Brimstone and shake up concepts. It also allows me to search deeper as well.

Iâm not sure what New Age stuff you mean? This is more Gnostic view which is quite old. Much different than new age from what Iâve seen.

Very possible to get that physique naturally these days, with the advanced training, nutrition and supplementation that we have in 2019.

I'd say its more about looking within one's own heart and discovering the truth for themselves. Any "platitude" or "summation" is just a finger pointing the way. Up to the individual to decide what's right for them. If you want to think of "King Jesus throwing the sinners into flames", that's up to you. I would think the inner interpretations would be enjoyed more on this forum? Maybe I'm wrong...

Imagine if the book of Revelations was a vision of ones own enlightenment? That all the imagery and scenes take place in ones own heart... an internal purging of ignorance and return of light.
-
What do you think âevilâ is referring to , in the book of revelations? Is it actual beings? Or think the book is symbolic of something else?

How in the world are you able to know what time it is, without a watch, good sir?

I believe you can still sign into that one, just cannot post on the forum.

There's a reason why its called "the mother of herbs", and why it's worshipped in the Hindu/Indian culture. Many people consider the plant to be an Earthly manifestation of Lakshmi. It is rumored to be able to help with just about any ailment, and regulate many body functions and processes. I discovered it quite by accident, one year I was very sick with the flu and could not sleep because of the fever I was running. Someone gave me a tea bag of Tulsi to try, and surprisingly it almost stopped by chills/fever for about 3-5 hours. Since then, I've been using it often, and find it is a great beneficial herb. I use it mainly in tea form, since I am a big drinker of tea. I believe they also sell it in capsules.

I don't like when they don't show the numbers. I don't care about the gears, just show me the time. Though it is cool to look at.

From the Lord's Prayer: "Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us" Matthew 6:12 This line is a deep teaching. It tells us that we have an innate power inside of us. To activate this power, we need to send it out to others. If you lack love in your life, work on loving others, and it will be returned to you. If you are having trouble forgiving yourself, look towards forgiving others, and you shall be forgiven. âSo whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 7:12
