I became interested in Taoism in 1972 as an undergraduate at the University of Michigan, Wonderful political science and history teachers in the area of China Studies, other fine teachers such as Donald Lopez in Comparative Religions, but I remember being puzzled and disappointed that none of them seemed to know much about Taoism. Things have really changed. I practice commercial real estate law (occasionally do pro bono legal work for several Thai-Laotian Buddhist temples/monasteries in the US), environmental law (Global Coral Reef Alliance), practice meditation daily, chi gung sporadically. Practice the following healing modalities: Quantum Touch, Body Talk, Biogeometry.
