How much time do you need to recieve a transmission?
SeekerOfHealing replied to A.A.Khokhlov's topic in Daoist Discussion
Yeah I read in Daoism Encyclopedia there is couple information of book transmission etc. that person just approaching the book, reading or whatever can become immortal. Rather to argue about it we need to look up for those books, proofs and results. -
I will not brag but if you are really cultivated qigong person you can make with other people whatever you like heal them or kill them, make them happy or sad as Qi is basis of creation and everything in the body so you can do everything with person. Probatum est.

Rare Esoteric Buddhist Teachings
SeekerOfHealing replied to SeekerOfHealing's topic in Buddhist Discussion
He does not combine but go beyond those traditions, you get personal teacher (buddha) to teach you whatever you practice in your altar. It's comes as strong energy or lights, or various manifestations, moves your body (but not into trance) and do many things. Is worth try because it will give your guidance after death I think it's easier to cultivate after death if you have spiritual guide then bother much with this body and mind which is very limited and trapped in taji. but it's not easy path, you need to be aware of everything because you will be tested after test you spirit will be more "light" or enlighten so to speak. Is more related to mysterious religions where the spirit is ascending thru various practices. I still discovering it and experiencing fully day after day to see what is that really but the one thing I know - it's works. -

Are relative and conventional things are essentially not real as you will not find them anywhere while investigating. Your idea of time do not make it real. -

Time is not real because it's relative. -
None, there all are mixed with christian world view which is materialistic. The last pagans you may find in hindu lore maybe (but not all, many hindus think vishu, shiva and brahma are like son, holy spirit and god etc.) or some closed tribes which have not touch civilization yet. Rare happening indeed. All pagans traditions now imitate the west mostly so... all pagan reconstruction is just joke really, it's like flower but plastic one, no pagan spirit anymore. Folk traditions are only which you can have some spirit of paganism but this is not full fledged.

It's not that our thoughts are unreal. They exist. But they have evolved over time and created a 'self'. A self that you believe is you. Once we actually realise this, see this for ourselves, then pop, you're out. There is no self at all. not existence at all. no jivas, no self at all. The self of Ramana is the Dao.

Thoughts for beginners after ~6 years
SeekerOfHealing replied to Seeker of Wisdom's topic in Buddhist Discussion
I would say do not consider yourself beginner at all. It's safety-security zone which can be useful in your workplace or first day in job but not in spiritual cultivation, so the first thing to do as beginner is not consider yourself a beginner. -
It's not possible to be pagan anymore if you are born after christian domination.

You better correct him by putting out arguments, practices and ways to attain rather then making jokes around. -
Yangshen perspectives in traditional Schools
SeekerOfHealing replied to A.A.Khokhlov's topic in Daoist Discussion
Wrong! If we can't perceive something it means this does not exists. The false vision is this existence, the true vision is non-existence. -

If you are good practitioner and cultivator you know and feel (for example from effaling video) yang energy. If you opened third eye you will see yang spirits. -
Yangshen perspectives in traditional Schools
SeekerOfHealing replied to A.A.Khokhlov's topic in Daoist Discussion
Of course he can't. The only thing he can do is pull strings of your imagination. The only school that can give you Yang Shen teachers are initiatory schools like Xian Tian Xiao Yao Pai or Xian Tian buddhist-related practices, other then that you forget. -
You can not change the world you can only understand it's imperfect nature and help only those around you. Focusing on negativity will not bring anything good. Blame yourself first and do something about if you can. Most people have their own problems who struggle and you expect that people will liberate world who can't cope within their own family. Typical millennial mentality, blame everybody for anything bad while taking off your responsibility.

Yangshen perspectives in traditional Schools
SeekerOfHealing replied to A.A.Khokhlov's topic in Daoist Discussion
I must not agree, if you look on Xiao Yao Pai thread is the only school who answers question directly. -
Tenga dalam have only yin shen, neigong and qigong related practices developed on it's own.
-
No, there are two different traditions with different methods and practices and results.

Yes, but it's only relative and does not matter in longer run. -
because earth element is dominant while growing - weak earth element = retardation of growing and development of the body/brain structure.

Initiate into Xiao Yao Pai or do initiation which I created in buddhist thread. I doubt there are any physical teachers left so we need rely on yang spirits. -
Gender roles: traditional view of men and women interaction in life and practice
SeekerOfHealing replied to Kara_mia's topic in Newcomer Corner
Cultivating means like cultivation of the vegetables - you are not doing nothing besides making atmosphere for growth in right time, place and way - the process is wu wei, you are doing nothing. Doing is only related to create right kind of ambiance or ground - the process of growing is natural (wu wei) You did not grow this body by stretching, you did nothing (wu wei) but just create space by providing proper nutrition, water etc. which results in growing. Same with spiritual cultivation you doing nothing beside creating right surrounding inside to growth happen by it's own nature.
