Socrates on the Importance of Physical Fitness
Pavel Karavaev replied to Earl Grey's topic in Healthy Bums
I do not sure exactly where I read it, but as i remember at Xenophon too: During the military campaign, Socrates' associates watched as he froze in a fixed position for the whole day without any moving. According to the description, it is very similar to Zhang Zhuang practice. Socrates is a very interesting teacher! -
Yes, an excellent example. Thank you Moment. In tango, in fact, the yin-yang connection is also constantly used. Yin and yang is an ancient principle and its manifestations can be found in different cultures.

Hallo all! Can anyone advise an interesting discussion on the topic of Chinese cuisine in this forum?

I agree that this can be very risky. I remember how one friend of mine told me about her experience of purification with salt water. She drank about five (!) Liters of salt water. She said that she had never felt so bad. Then a lot of slag came out with water. As a result, she began to feel much better and cleaner. However, according to her confession, she would not have decided to repeat this experiment. Rinsing the oral cavity with salt water is good for gums inflammation - this is what I know.

Why do i feel lighter after eating a vegetarian diet, and grounded/heavy after eating lots of meat?
Pavel Karavaev replied to Ryan94's topic in Healthy Bums
I also noticed for myself that it is best to eat meat 2-3 times a week. And more often I do not even want to eat it. However, in winter it happens that the body wants more meat, and also more fatty -
Yes, sure, we can drink pu-er in any other season, it is not a rule. I just meant that in winter it almost always handy, because of its warming nature.

Yes, it is really beautifull. The first frames immediately reminded me of winter frozen trees !

This refers me to DDJ 1 The Tao that can be spoken is not the eternal Tao The name that can be named is not the eternal name The nameless is the origin of Heaven and Earth The named is the mother of myriad things Thus, constantly free of desire One observes its wonders Constantly filled with desire One observes its manifestations These two emerge together but differ in name The unity is said to be the mystery Mystery of mysteries, the door to all wonders

The picture shows one super popular person. Guess who it is?
Pavel Karavaev replied to Lois's topic in The Rabbit Hole
Presumably someone will not be able to see any person here, simply because there is a fractal opening here every time he tries to look at the picture. -
It should be noted that modern performers look much more interesting in using their body's abilities. It seems so to me.

In Russia, criminals are the keepers of folk traditions
Pavel Karavaev replied to Lois's topic in The Rabbit Hole
I liked the Australian version, attacking power in combination with a good defensive idea correspond to the principle of tai chi, whereas the Russian one has only words. But seriously, I do not really understand what this topic is about. -
I think that hedonism overly relaxes a person in the sense of spiritual aspirations. The pursuit of pleasure can make a person lazy and incapable of solving difficult problems. And it is very important for self-improvement to have the ability to evolve in spite of any circumstances. In traditional teachings, it is often said about the importance of hard work and overcoming all sorts of hardships. And pleasures are also important, but i think there should not be exorbitance of it. All in all, life itself in its many manifestations can be considered a pleasure.

Is it true you pay a doctor to keep you healthy in China?
Pavel Karavaev replied to alchemystical's topic in Daoist Discussion
It is an interesting approach. Earlier I often thought that when a person is very sick he can not earn money, and accordingly he can not pay for the treatment. In this case it is very practical to pay in advance ))) -
But seriously, looking at Nina Hagen's photos, it seems that she really can't do spiritual practices since she looks like her state is far away from balance.

It seems that such things as fame and fame can be a serious impediment for inner practice. And the people who involved in the show business environment get some vicious influence which most likely removes them from the desire to engage in internal practices. I guess so.

Verily, a polluted stream is man. One must be a sea to be able to receive a polluted stream without becoming unclean.

That is amazing. This art looks like a kind of meditative practice.

Wild animals usually avoid the human, so sometimes it seems that they are somewhere far away. Walking in the winter through the forest, we could see more signs that the animals are very close. Recently I came across the sleeping place of elks . It's amazing how large the size of these creatures

Well, in my opinion, with Zhuang Zi, he can not be compared. But he also often says reasonable things, and expressiveness gives it a kind of vitality.

This post is dedicated to one of my favorite films. Just looked it again after many years. From the first glance, it may seem simple and just funny, but in fact it includes a very serious basis. First of all, I see here a story about the spiritual development of a man. About how extraordinary circumstances help that selfish, spoiled person to take the path of self-improvement. (Unfortunately I did not find the full version of the film in free access.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSVeDx9fk60
