I am not familiar with the lineage, but on this part "ball of light that completely fills my head, and then I rotate this head shaped ball of light", I assume there is a prep work for LD and MD before? I would be very careful with this stuff if lower parts of the body are not "purified". Also, I hope after the practice it is taught to ship it back to LD? p.s. That's because it's not "not working" and "there will be no harm", it's because IT IS WORKING and there COULD be very much of a harm to unprepared body. ( learned it hard way to the keep energy out of the head)

no nobody can solve your problems but you. From what I understand, there is a some weird game going on for eons. Like there is a school or something and bored(?) SELFs wonder around from life time to lifetime picking different "subjects" to learn. Note, all of this happens without time and space ( as there is no time no space). Therefore, if you have "problems", it is your lesson to learn how to solve it. First, you need to be aware ( not even awake, so it's kind of like a cheat code), second, you need to recognize the pattern, third you need to figure out what to do with that energy ( it is easy to give up anger ( uhm...), but can you give up human love? ( attachments, blah blah blah). And then.... those SELFs have teachers. If your teacher is a pussy, well, I think you got lucky:P . Anyways, and then there is a principal who oversees this school. And then there are probably helicopter parents...Don't let me get started on those... meow...

1. Try to meditate to understand what dark part of you is "sticking" to her. Learned it hard way, trust me. Vibrations are matching, thus you collect this crap. You cannot blame them for loading sh%t on you. It's your dark matches their dark. You deal with your own ( very often deeply buried unconscious crap for which you need someone to guide you to, mental masturbation won't work in this case). If you have a teacher in neigong/neidan, ask for "soul retrieval" ( or something similar it would be called, but the idea is to go look into your subconscious for blocks ( blobs of dark energy per se). 2. see #1 3. in addition to #1, as it is believed that any alcohol/mental issues might be an oppression/possession issues from demonic spirits it is possible those who "cannot stand you as soon as you walk in" ( even strangers), it means their demons simply cannot handle your higher vibrations. Happens to people who cultivate ( serious, not spiritual bypassing stuff). Unless you are called to exorcism, just leave it as is. There is a lengthy legal stuff of why someone would be harassed by those entities. 4. ( I personally hate this stuff. Why do I have to suffer when it is somebody else's pain? But then... we are all ONE... blah blah blah) Technically you have a great diagnostic tool with your bodies ( energy/emotions/physical/etc), i.e. if one feels pain in a liver, you feel a kick as well. If you do taichi push-hands you probably had one of those moments where you sense your opponent issues in "full bloom". While those are all "phantom pains", it is very debilitating. I hate it. ( okay, I really DISLIKE it). Because I pick up pain from everywhere. Only last few weeks I think I got the antidote to this. I actually pray to God to remove that pain from THEM and it makes my affected organ get back to its normal state. I pick up liver issues like candies. I was even treated for "liver issues" which now I realize were not even mine. Along with "migraines" which apparently I do not have either. However, those headaches were very debilitating. I guess, I had to learn it on my own skin of how it feels - to feel humans' pain ( cats have different pain points perhaps?LOL) Basically, sorry to say, unless you find a teacher and learn how to handle this stuff, it will be very miserable. Western doctors will tell you all your tests are clean and you are super healthy and you need to check your head with the shrink and eastern doctors will try to feed you with herbs, which won't help ( i.e. if you see on live TV a huge fire, using a fire extinguisher on TV box won't help , it's just a receiver and transformer of the signal to an image)

About 4 years ago I went to a psychic. I was having serious issues with one person. ( not friends or family, btw, but really WEIRD situation where I was betrayed and I was like "is this all real?") Anyways, I went to her, she was recommended to me by someone and she is somewhat famous and has a good selling book on amazon about yoga/goddess/etc; she is "enlightened" but covers it up. The guy who recommended me to her is a famous west coast shrink to celebrities in LA; he told me if anybody can clear light on the situation it would be her. So she was doing reading to me, etc, etc. And she was looking into past lives and said "This is a karmic connection and he betrayed you before because you let him. And wait... he was your student in India before and he betrayed you". Back then I did not think much about it, Yeah, past lives, what can you really get out of it ( besides energy releases, but this is a little bit off topic). Anyways, I totally forgot about it and past week I have been thinking about what Sifu said about teaching and I was like "but I have NEVER BEEN a teacher or WANTED to be" and of course my memory brought this weird memory back about me being some old dude pandit in India and being betrayed again and again by this guy over lifetimes. So... how many more of my past live students will show up in this life time and screw me up again and again? And I am not even a teacher, lolz. Patience will tell...

I did not think. I mean, I know I get impatient sometime, but not like omg I need to train patience ASAP. Here is some back story. Last week I was working with Sifu and I think ( do I?) he is still kind of puzzled by what to do with me. I.e. I am not exactly there for martial arts or to be a priest. Maybe some healing for "friends and family", but that's as much as I look into it. He thinks I should be a teacher. I am not convinced as "What am I going to teach? I am like the least qualified to teach anything. Plus, I don't even look good in yoga pants. Not white, not blond, not tall. What kind of teacher would I make and why?" I told him I hate to stay in traffic ( mind, Silicon Valley traffic, not just "your average 5 pm in Somewhere, USA traffic". I told him I bought a pressure cooker so I can cook food faster. So he told me..."Well... perhaps... that's what you need to learn right now... patience...And later things will be revealed to you." As a good student, here I am... asking how to learn it? ( send pressure cooker back? ride a bus? sign up for an online "spiritual/yoga/bagua/qigong/ancient stuff you better not touch teacher training in 1 day" seminar? Clueless kitty p.s. have a cookie.

yes and no ( qicat polarities, lolz:P) ..... no Jeff... When someone projects their transformed energy(*) ( due to high/long cultivation) is very different when someone takes a cord and hookes up to the egregor(**). Now, it is stated very clear in Medical Qigong Doctor handbook to watch for "own crap" and transference and countertransference issues. So in case #1, when healer's transformed energy is channeled assuming training and quality of the healer it is possible NOT to have these "lens". However, in case #2, when the healer is acting as a transmitter, even if healer is the purest of the purest, if the Ray is not exactly "love and light" there might be some concerns. However, if healer's energy is high enough to purify the Ray, wow... that's like demigod right there... ( it is actually possible if you follow Daoist's beliefs that we are the ones who are driving) ... yes Jeff... when there is a mutual connection between a healer and one to be healed the belief system creates its own healing space which allows the healing to occur. And as many say, the actual system ( religion) is actually ALL THE SAME thing if you study it long and deep enough to come to a conclusion that there is not really much difference in any religion of the world... I think you are much closer to what it is... Some time ago, when Esalen was still open, at one of the workshops the very nice guy offered me and my friend a reiki session and attainment. We were like, sure dude, let's do it. So we went to the nature by the ocean at the sunset ( yes, very nice and dramatic setting:P). And when he worked on her first, I could see those "rays". Yes, he was hooking up and bringing energy, but what was confusing to me is the shades of color of the energy. It was "murky" as best. So, the Ray technically was Yellow, but it was not a clean yellow you would expect ( if you ever saw that golden sparkly energy from trees or in the sky, you probably know what I am talking about). He did clear some crap from my friend though ( low level was eaten by a high level?) as I could see some grey stuff disappearing. My theory on this one ( as I stated I am total n00b in reki), is that while original system is working and pure, there are some "hitchhikers" and you have to be very careful of what is being connected to you. My Sifu has an interesting approach to this, he told me that we don't work with "middle management" and go directly to your Higher Self/Divinity. He said many people who start working with middle management for "power" and stuff end up plain crazy because of the nuances of power exchange. Now, I am not saying reki is not a good healing system. Like attracts the like. But I still would be careful about who is transmitting what and what is the actual lineage. Intelligence of the energy at those levels is a given. Just make sure your internal beliefs match. That's all, folks.

I think the book is on amazon. I actually read it on kindle. You might want to check that out and compare notes...

It does not really matter which system you are using, as they are all technically(*) the same. Westerners get hang up on "branding" and "market positioning". It is actually all about mind training. More like "wash off, wash on" concentration thing vs. "more fancy moves"/workshops/techniques. In my school it is trained to move qi with thought and not with a breath or move ( as qi goes much faster than thought/blood/etc). But you have to do it without straining yourself ( or you would get qi deviations, see my posts on that one). Btw, how is reiki dealing with qi deviations? What is the equivalent there? I am just doing research on the topic... (*) different discussion, I think there are gazillions of posts on this around here. But I am differentiating technical stuff vs "zealous students" stuff.

So, from my limited knowledge of qigong and qi, seems what you are describing in technical terms would be a "hook up to the Divine and channeling through the hands". It is a known method in qigong, but you also have to be grounded. Basically add some anchor so cosmic winds do not blow you away:) If you feel energy like you are describing, qigong/neigong is your next step for sure, as complete system will teach you how to get energy from heavens, earth, water, fire, etc... i.e. well known AIR BENDER ( avatar:P)

I do not know much about reiki. I have read some books ( more like glanced at) and I see some similarities ( i.e. draw a sign and bring energy with incantation down) to Daoist ways, but I think the "outside" system ( i.e. widely available) is a very small part of the actual system. I usually look at the school and practitioners and senior teachers. Do they look healthy. How is their financial being? Are they known for charity? How long had been school around? What are interpersonal relationships between students/teachers? Because it seems to me a little weird if reiki teacher claims to teach "prosperity" and is in debt himself or bringing rays of health ( Medicine Buddha) yet himself is not healthy ( obese; as usually it is a middle age woman with strange look in her eyes as she is on drugs ( or {most likely} possessed.)...same applies for relationships, money, business, happiness, etc - whatever buffet of "rays"( initiations) are offered by the teacher. It is on my TODO list to figure this out further, but probably in few years down the road. We spend so much time working and refining energy in qigong/neigong that it seems a little bit strange you can get abilities via attending one weekend seminar in reiki. Please share your experience if you have any with this. I.e. what does it feel like, does it worth it, what happens few month/years later after connection? Meow.

It depends on the system. For example, the one I am taught is LD-blue color ( kidneys/water) MD-red color( heart/fire) LD-white color ( divine connection) There are actually of different "heaviness" when you work with colors that way. Goes from low ( heavy) to lighter ( light as weight) energy. /*******/ You ask a lot of questions, but I sense there is some disconnect in your emotions and your mental state by your posts. Have you checked heart fire lately? Is everything ok in your kingdom? Concerned citizen.

Hey Sublimation. Kind of "out there advice"... but have you tried soul retrieval? I just did one last week. I will probably write more in few months as the process is still WIP, but I could feel the difference the moment my Hun was sent back to the body. And the next day it was like being wrapped in a cozy blanked inside ( one of weiqi fields under skin feeling(?)) . Basically, when something traumatic happens, your Hun leaves the body and hangs out around and it needs to be sent back to the body, otherwise POs take over and run the show. Do you have access to someone who would be knowledgeable about soul retrieval? Perhaps you can look for some senior teachers in your area and ask them for references? They would know someone who might help. I guarantee you, if soul retrieval done properly, your depression will lessen. Best,
