  1. Great thanks guys. So which exercise should I do? I think I need to open up the channels in my legs and the energy points in the soles and I'm going to draw the energy up from the ground and into the LDT! I think I should do the practise twice a day. But, I don't know anything about these things really and I only worked out I had this problem yesterday tbh. 1 Moving yin and yang 2 Master Lam 3 or does it not really matter? I think I've got The Way of Energy somewhere too so I'll look into that. Does anyone have any basic tips about horse stance that a beginner needs to know? Anything which helped you/articles/videos etc?
  2. Alchemy and the Tribal Body

It really makes you wonder about the afterlife too. Does it say they visit their ancestors in the video? The individual soul is an error and works hand in glove with Western metaphysics. That's why so many of the great German philosophers rip Plato to pieces. Anyway, I think external qi projection is a complete misnomer. There's no external and there's no projection, just a field the personal consciousness drops in to from where the energies already exist. They're just not accessible to waking consciousness. So the thing is these forces are the same forces and exist in the same place we attribute to the soul and the afterlife. External qi projection is real, I know because I've done it and my friend not only verified she felt the force but her leg got better and all the pain went away too. Plus I pulled out energy and her leg changed colour. I never even touched her. I didn't need to because distance is a fallacy, it simply does not exist. Everything is HERE AND NOW. Dobbs explains that in that video I posted the other day. The point is what happens when the corporeal body dies? What do people like Yan Xin say about this stuff or others of his ilk? Maybe Drew's written about his stuff too?
  3. Yes, great. Although I'm really not sure what to think about the physical body anymore after experiencing qi tbh. Still, thanks for the help!
  4. First attempt at healing!

I dropped in on some old friends today as I was passing through the area and it turned out one of them was crying in pain because she had some kind of skin infection. She'd been to the hospital and been prescribed two sets of antibiotics and finished the course, but her leg below the knee was still very badly swollen and purple. She said she'd been in pain for weeks and was moaning in agony and was about to go back to the hospital. So I said I could try and project some qi and pull out the blocked energy even though I have no training and have never tried such a thing before. So, I pulled out some energy and threw it on the floor but only at about 7 or 8 places in the leg because I really didn't have much idea about that, I only saw it on a youtube video once tbh. Then I got her to put her leg on a stool and I focused on the heat in the stomach and with my eyes open tried to project qi with the palm of my right hand a few inches away from the leg in to the areas that looked like they most needed it. She said she could feel the heat pretty quickly and also began to feel very relaxed. The colour started to come back into her leg too and after a while she said she felt no pain for the first time in weeks! After about 1 hour full of maybe 6 4 minutes goes at a time most of the swelling had gone and most of the purple too and she was in a very mellow state with her eyes closed, completely without pain! I am total amazed by what happened. Although I knew qi is very real and tangible, actually seeing and experiencing its effects first hand for the first time is almost unbelievable, it literally brings tears to my eyes thinking about it! I am wondering if what I did is good practise and whether it's okay to do the same thing again next time I come across someone unwell, or what?

  6. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

Drew warned me not to post on this forum and I can't for the life of me work out why Anyway, I'm going to take his advice seeing as that's what I was looking for in the first place and not browse this place so much so I can concentrate on my philosophy.
  7. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

My friend I haven't even started mediating yet and I can already project qi externally and heal someone's leg in a couple of minutes. Everyone in the room saw what happened including a hyperration guy who was still making jokes about my philosophy while saying you should probably pursue this healing and see where it takes you. So you can post all the memes and graphics you like but the only person you're fooling here is yourself! And Freud didn't know shit. THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS AN UNCONSCIOUS IN THE FREUDIAN SENSE. FREUD BELIEVED IN THE WESTERN EGO THAT'S WHY HE THOUGHT HE COULD LABEL NEUROTIC PHENOMENA AND PLAY AT BEING "GOD".
  8. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

Right so I have always been reluctant to do any standing practise because I know I'll not feel the energy much and that's because I don't have my leg channels open I guess. Everything I've ever done has been while I've been slouched at the computer. So I can feel the heat in my LDT now and think it will lessen when I stand but I'll force myself to start a standing practise every day for the time being. THANKS GUYS!
  9. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

I was just thinking about it and I think I have to do some standing exercises because I don't really feel anything in the soles of my feet the way I do the palms of my hands. Chunyi Lin says to stand up and down on your toes before you start the practise to open the channels I think and Drew mentions the kidney channels in relation to that. My kidneys were hot about the time I signed up for the forum, but not so much now. So I'm going to read Drew's stuff and have some tea and then do some meditation in about an hour or so. Once I get the routine going I'll know what I'm doing. I think it's really easy to make mistakes and I'm certain I've already made loads of mistakes! I find it easier to draw in energy through the top of my head than from the ground too.
  10. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

Flexibility is something I would say is my main physical problem. About 2 weeks ago I could only touch my knees. So I spent 5 minutes sending qi into my legs and could get the whole of my hands past my knees and I just tried it again now and it's the same place still. I can sit in half lotus right now so probably I'll be able to get into full lotus sometime soon. I haven't tried it though so I can't say. Did you see Drew's post on his blog? I think he mentions you and no doubt rightfully says you're a pervert lol.
  11. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

Drew wrote out a programme on his site. So I'm going to read it properly in the morning and start my routine then. Anyway, I'm planning on building a strong base before I do anything like healing so I don't think I'm going to cook myself if that's what you mean by that. Actually the palms of my hands fizz and I just put them near my cheeks (face lol) and I can feel heat and my LDT is hot right now. Is that a problem do you know, or what?
  12. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

I got a reply from Drew. I'll have to read it tomorrow now. https://voidisyinyang.blogspot.com/2017/03/how-to-respond-to-thetaobums-daily.html But the problem I seem to be having is my practise is constantly way ahead of what I know, if you read that introduction post of mine I just posted you see I'm trying to get some information and ultimately some help. Not that I'm in a panicked state of mind or anything like that. I just need to get things together with a daily routine and to read the right books, I think. I mean I haven't even got started yet as far as I'm concerned. I was reading some stuff to catch up with what happened just from activating the LDT. I read the articles book by Damo and watched some videos by Yang someone or other. But still hadn't managed to get started with a daily routine. And now I seem to be projecting qi...
  13. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

I'm replying to your highlighting this "Then for 6 hours my consciousness got caught up in the LDT so it was just getting hotter and hotter!" http://www.thedaobums.com/topic/43372-brand-new-and-need-some-advice/ You can read about it there. I forgot I actually knocked out my internet connection too! Not only was the LDT on fire but I'd put some qi in my head too so I was totally out of it. Normally I would not be signing up for a forum in that kind of state.
  14. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

I skimmed your post and it sounds like it's talking about concentrating on the LDT without sexual desires, perhaps. Anyway, I'm not here to speak on Drew's behalf he can look after himself, nor am I some kind of qigong sage. I'm just saying he's a good guy and he knows his stuff and it's been helpful for me
  15. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

I can't comment on higher levels of qigong. I can just say Drew has been a help to me so I'm grateful for that. I do think it's funny he was going around calling everyone a pervert while he was doing his O from a D though. Not that I know all the details tbh. I watched the Andrew Zimmern video and it's obvious the Shaman accessed his memories by the way he's talking about images. The soul thinks in images whose hermeneutics can only be understood on their own terms. Like the images embedded behind the texts of religions. You can't understand what it means from the perspective of the book. Which is the way he's trying to describe things. So that's why he's so confused and upset by the depth of the experience. Plus the women are the personifications of the negative force -- they control everything and are closer to the earth and Mother nature. The men personify the positive force and perhaps are closer to the spirit. But, the forces then merge together on a transpersonal level within the tribal body and dance in the sound of eternal harmony, like the first dance at a wedding when man and woman unite in spirit!
  16. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

I don't know about that. But, Drew understands there are more than just the frequencies of Jing>Qi>Shen>Dao from a personal perspective. Those structures exist as actual realities through historical time too. So if you go back far enough in historically recorded time to a pre-civilisation form of awareness and go far enough into yourself with the alchemical process you actually come to the same eternal place where time loops back in on itself negentropically! That's why he's always talking about the San people, I think.
  17. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

Drew Hempel is the real deal. I knew it instantly. The first thing I said to my friend who'd posted the link is "I'm 100% going full lotus" then all I did was 5 days celibacy, wim hof shaking knees and there you have it. Nature was no longer subdued within, or without. I have a good daemon for guidance, so it must have slapped me in the face when I saw Drew's stuff LOL Anyway, the link which was posted concerned NeoPlatonism and that goes over the same stuff I'm talking about with Plato and Aristotle. It's all abstraction and nothing concrete (like the Dao). http://www.thedaobums.com/topic/28646-pythagoras-neoplatonism-maths-geometry/ So you think the Dao can be explained to a 5 year old? If that were the case then what are we all doing here? I am racing against the sands of time to met the Dao before the death of the corporeal body. It's my destiny -- a titanic battle against the forces of nature to stand face to face with all and nothing. Well, that's the Platonic abstraction imploding in on itself into electronic immanence. It simulates the effects of oral culture but through our tools i.e. what your looking at right now. FAKE NEWS. Real news is Dao in case your unaware. The fake news plays on discarnate man's organs. Like the monkey on the organ grinder LOL. Brian (I think) said I shouldn't do this stuff on living things. But, I can maybe call my friend in a week and perhaps see her again and see what she says. If the leg is bad again and she says she was okay with the last healing then I'll try it again. I'm not sure I should try it on other people randomly. I like the guys who live there, but I was just passing by and they all take drugs and stuff and I'll only do that kind of thing once every 2 months or so. But, I'll call back in 5 days or whatever and maybe see her again. She was saying she didn't have the money for the taxi ride so if her leg's bad she'll want to come back. So, if it happens I'll take pictures this time!
  18. First attempt at healing!

EDIT: the video link isn't showing up! so if you don't see it you'll just have to take my word for it. I added a youtube Spenlger video instead. I took the http bit off the beginning so you can watch the video vimeo.com/208535922 So you can see the cultural conscious structure falling into chaos with the three horses come together represented by the 4th horse of the apocalypse. Same as the 3 treasures coming together, but on the macro scale. This is what the Germans (Nietzsche, Heidegger etc.) were calling nihilism. Oswald Spengler whom was influenced by Nietzsche and in turn influenced Heidegger wrote a 2-volume works one hundred years ago which began with the following sentence - "In this book is attempted for the first time the venture of predetermining history, of following the still untravelled stages in the destiny of a Culture, and specifically of the only Culture of our time and on our planet which is actually in the phase of fulfilment — the West-European-American." Spengler said there'd be a second religiousness in the 60's (New Age) and a new type of politician would emerge in to the world right about the time we're living through now. He said as the axiomatic roots of democracy begin to show their hollow core men unconcerned with traditional ways of politics would enter the political arena and all the little people would cheer and celebrate. Spenlger was influenced by Vico via Goethe and it was Goethe's holistic scientific method he was using to chart the morphology of culture! vimeo.com/208535922

GREAT! Thanks, I'm going to sit cross-legged on the floor with my back against the door because my main concern is not ever having a straight back! https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/d5/7b/69/d57b699691cca53c697bde5228dfe3cd.jpg
  20. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

LOL. The thing is now I have activated the LDT I can't just turn it off. So I'm just looking for some help. It's not like I'm having a crisis or anything. Just looking for some pointers to get me started with meditation! I thought that's what the forum was about, helping each other. Sure I can work this stuff out myself, but I thought I might as well ask for some help and see if anything good comes from it. Someone might come up with some great ideas. Who knows?
  21. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

Well, I can sit on my bed hunched over my laptop with my eyes open while I breathe into the LDT and feel the heat. Does that pass for mediation? Because that's what I've been doing. Or should I put some time aside and sit cross-legged on the floor with my back straight and my eyes shut and... (breathe into the heat? practise the MCO?) That's what I'm asking. I'll work it out given the time, but I was just wondering because I have never actually sat down and mediated before. I didn't know anything about these things prior to activating my LDT about 5 weeks ago and at that time I had no idea these things were so real. I didn't even know the LDT got hot so that's why I joined the forum, I was wondering where to store the heat. Okay eventually it went away, but I didn't know anything about this stuff at the time. Obviously I had studied philosophy to a pretty high level prior to joining the forum and I didn't just take up philosophy 4 weeks ago
  22. First attempt at healing!

Yes, there are hidden metaphysical grounds throughout history that bring into being new environments which then change how we understand the world around us. Artists and the great works of art are always the first to register change in a society. So when medieval artworks are all out of perspective that wasn't because they didn't know how to draw very well! So, for example perspective in painting was worked out before it came to awareness in the philosophy of Rene Descarte. Or 15 minutes of fame only really made sense when we'd moved farther into the new electronic environment etc.
  23. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

Obviously I do follow my intuitions, but they are not something I consciously calculate in my mind. It's more like something external to me which pulls me along. Not in a bad way or anything. All I'm asking is help organising a daily routine! Like: 1 40 mins standing exercise in the morning which will help with such and such 2 20 mins yoga stretching for the physical body because you're not very flexible 3 20 mins moving yin yang to open the thrusting channel 4 when you mediate sometimes practise the MCO and sometimes just concentrate on the LDT etc. I don't even know what I'm supposed to be doing if I sit and mediate or for what purpose.
  24. Looking for Advise on a Daily Practise

Anyway I'm not here to be nasty to anyone or looking for approval. But it genuinely gets tiresome when people always say I don't know what I'm talking about. I literally am never rude to other people even when I'm certain they don't know their ass from their elbow. Think I'm a charlatan if you like, it's not really my business. But I've tried to give a fair account in my first post about what I know and what help I think I need. I would really appreciate some help and fewer personal opinions. THANKS! Honestly I'd love to heal people but I don't think it's going to happen and I'll just end up keeping these things to myself IRL. I have no care to share what I know with other people because it will only come back to haunt me.
