  1. Help with stagnant qi liver / depression

The TCM Doc should help you with those things. In addition to his treatments, you can also massage the LIV3 acupoint on your foot to get rid of the liver stagnation. Another point you could do is GB40...that will help with liver stagnation, and is a point which is good for people who can't be decisive (as you sort of describe). I would skip the coffee enemas...it can dehydrate your colon (which will cause a ton of health problems down the road), and coffee can also be bad for the nerves. Your job sounds fine; 6 hours isn't bad. Just move around for a minute or two half way through your work...and also be sure to exercise in some way each day, even if it's just walking. (I'm not a TCM doctor. Listen to qualified people first...but what I said won't hurt you)
  2. Need serious help

Oh also...you can't be mind controlled if you cultivate no-mind.
  3. Need serious help

Fear, anxiety, and stress about being manipulated in the way that you say will tend to make the sleep issue worse. To take care of the emotional issues, maybe do EFT until those emotions and beliefs are neutralized. Sleep comes about most naturally when we're calm and feeling normal on the inside. I'm not saying this to discredit your idea of what is possibly happening in any way (by the way, what experiences make you think something like that is happening to you?), only saying what can be making things worse. Sleep is very important to get consistently and fully in order to feel normal and feel not affected by hypnosis or anything "evil". We're more easily susceptible to harmful psychic things when we're disturbed in some way and lacking rest...so become normalized by getting good rest, and the problem should vanish. Really. If you live near some sort of electrical thing, like a radio tower or I don't know what else, consider moving. It can help to have boiled organic milk (drink when it's warm) all throughout the day, and especially within half an hour of when you're trying to sleep. This will help make you tired, in addition to being a healthy thing unless you're lactose intolerant. It's very important to shut off all electronics when it gets dark outside...just have candles for natural lighting, and listen to or play relaxing music...maybe read a book. Go out and look at the stars if you don't have too much light pollution...it's relaxing to do. Don't try to accomplish or plan anything, get all of that done earlier in the day. Electronics have a type of energy that will keep you awake, and the "blue light" which is emitted from them also has the same effect, so it is very important to have not be anywhere near any electronics after 8 pm, in order to resolve sleep issues. Think of it as living how people did from the beginning of time up until like 150 years ago...naturally. If you have a lake or ocean you can walk by or swim in if it's not too cold, do that some time each day. Or just lay on the grass for like half an hour. These things will take the excess energy (which is disturbing your sleep) from the body. I don't suggest "earthing" products. They caused my sleep to become erratic. Laying on the actual ground is more reliable. When you're sitting at home by yourself doing nothing, it might help if you wear a white cap or something on your head...psychic attacks tend to happen in the crown and third eye area, and covering it can sometimes help bring a slight sense of relief. You might want to take a break from any spiritual practices you're doing, apart from prayer, contemplation of virtues, and similar things. Basically, if you're doing internal energy work type practices or breathing, those will probably make the issue worse until you're back to normal...once you're okay again, then it's fine to resume them. You might think that zhan zhuang for instance is "grounding"...but actually that will cause more uprising of energy and could make things worse. Breaks are good. Giving yourself a foot massage until your feet and ankles are warm, on a consistent basis, will likely help calm things down. If you want, get sesame oil and heat it up until it's warm-hot yet comfortable on the skin, and give yourself a massage from head to toe...then take a warm bath (not hot because that will cause a rising of internal heat to the head). This is another way of taking care of the erratic sort of energies and opening the body's channels in a good way. I'm also working on switching my sleep schedule to the proper time at the moment (which is before 10 PM if you want good health)...and I just ordered these two products to assist with that. I can't vouch for them yet, although I do vouch for the people who produce them, but they could probably help with getting to sleep. http://www.chandika.com/products/Soma-Nidra-Tea-For-Sleep.html http://www.chandika.com/Pro-Sleep-Plus-Transdermal-Cream.html Also, just throwing this out there...try eating more asparagus. Oh and about people who talk about this kind of stuff, or who seem to talk about things coincidentally or anything shady like that. Just ignore them. Don't pay attention to things which cause your energy and emotions to become worse. Wishing you the best, and I'll send a prayer as well.
  4. ...

Not only did you help people that seemed to need it...you showed them what a genuine person does...you also are honest with your feelings about what happened...your family is helping, which is always good for everyone, including them because they're giving to someone who needs it...and in addition, you are helping others here by telling them about this type of scam. A lot of good is coming from this.
  5. Tip on how to do enquiry

In my experience with the "who am I" method, it's good to use "neti neti" (which means something akin to "not this, not that"). If something is assumed to be the true Self, with neti neti, you consciously identify it as something other than Self (because it's being perceived and is an object of awareness, not awareness itself). Try to become aware of awareness right now. If you think you can do it, observe what you're aware of, and realize that you're perceiving it. It's something that can come and go, and be let go of...so it's not the Self. In my opinion, it's a subtle form of mind. So what masquerades as awareness or Self is also something to say "not this" about. Deny all false Self-identifications. Ramana spoke of a time when he truly and honestly asked the question to himself...when you deeply wonder about it and not just use "who am I" as a practice, then it's said to really be effective. I view this honest form of self enquiry as eventually happening spontaneously. It's not something a person can just try to do. You can't force yourself to be genuinely curious at the deepest level about something...but asking the question will plant the seed for that genuineness which will sprout on its own at some later time. So I say, just keep doing neti-neti on things that appear as the answer. This is just my view, from when I practiced it years ago. edit: my apologies I think I misunderstood the purpose of this thread; I thought it was asking for tips on how to do Ramana's self enquiry.
  6. Self Taught Neigong?

I have...it's a solid practice that will help you with low energy and being ungrounded.
  7. Self Taught Neigong?

I think you're on the right path for fixing yourself with the Way of Energy practice. As for where to go from there, I won't say any more because that's all up to you.
  8. Part of the darkweb is down...

Thanks; yeah I don't know what it could possibly mean. The millions of dollars in bitcoin that the govt confiscated isn't something substantial. So, just interesting. My first thought was helping fund the effects of the shutdown...but yeah I have no idea.
  9. Part of the darkweb is down...

Interesting timing with the government shutdown and all.
  10. Cooking up a storm

Bagua, you made the matsoni yogurt? My first try didn't work for me...perhaps the room was too cold.
  11. Cooking up a storm

This contraption is 54 bucks here. A way of brewing tea, coffee, or other kinds of drinks.
  12. I'm speaking from personal experience.
  13. A lot of traditions have that. Not to jump in the thread and try to prove you wrong...just saying, it's a very common experience across most schools.
  14. Terma is a teaching revealed in a dream?
  15. Being a badass bench presser, jing energy qigong

About lifting weights...in my experience, squats, deadlifts, bench press, etc, are great for the nervous system when done with proper form. If you do them at light to moderate weights these exercises actually open the channels, and don't contribute to blockages. When you start doing much heavier weights, the hormone effect becomes quite pronounced in a positive way (erections all the time), but it can also lead to injuries if not done 100% correct (with proper stretching for the specific lifting program, if form is slightly off). So lifting heavier weights could potentially conflict with the internal arts.
  16. Bagua and Ballet

A friend on Facebook posted this article about how ballet dancers' brains are adapted to cope with dizziness from spinning, after years of training. This also relates to Baguazhang and its circle walking, although the article doesn't cover that.
  17. About Ramana and light body, I read this a while back: http://the-wanderling.com/meeting.html
  18. The Corruption of TED talks

I have really enjoyed watching TED talks over the years, but... http://www.naturalnews.com/042112_TED_conferences_pseudoscience_GMO.html I think 98% of people with a science background will see through this nonsense. What they perpetuate as 'real science' is just a very selective choosing with an agenda. Some of the uneducated will fall for it. Shameful.
  19. The Corruption of TED talks

One of the most accurate I've seen...apparently banned...
  20. Being a badass bench presser, jing energy qigong

    CTM? Connective tissue massage?
  21. Breaking Bad

This was the best TV show I've ever seen. Tonight was the final episode, and in my opinion it ended perfectly.
  22. Tao of the Ten Commandments

Good thinking. I always wonder if things would've been different, if the desert religions had been exposed to Taoist thought before writing and teaching. Or at least if they had learned about human psychology. You tell someone not to do something, and it will plant the seed of desire for them to do precisely that! "Do not look at a woman with lust"...oh shit! We all fall short of the glory. Reverse psychology even would work better than the "thou shalt not" approach. "Thou shalt kill others"...wait a second guys...this sounds wrong lets not do this. Humanity has a way of balancing itself despite all odds, and in my personal opinion is born with spirituality in their hearts. About rape...I think that one is covered under quite a few of them. Especially the one which I think Jesus later added, "love your neighbor as yourself".
  23. People are getting stuck on words, and apparently (to me) didn't grasp the meaning of the quote.
  24. Passage Meditation

Eknath Easwaran...recently found out about him, and I'm super impressed. I've only read various quotes by him, and browsed the website. But really clear and good stuff. http://www.easwaran.org/
  25. Were Hiroshima and Nagasaki war-crimes?

It's unthinkable to me that the US did that at one point in history. Yes, it was definitely a war crime.
