  1. Suspension

"Moronic", "Neo nazi", "wannabe", "conspiracy nut", "sad paranoid life"...that's all pretty insulting. I haven't personally seen any of that. Where's the love here at the bums???
  2. Etymology: wyvern = wife? ;-D

There are many wyverns in the sea.
  3. Suspension

Also, why is there no moderation log about this particular case? Shouldn't it be clear when and why people are being suspended?
  4. Love, Romance, dating, and finances

...it's good to have enough money to survive.
  5. I let them be, and focus on better things.
  6. Removing stuck energy in the head.

If you can afford a craniosacral therapy session that will be one thing that can help in the rough beginning stages of this.
  7. Circumcism

For me, it was a family tradition NOT to get a circumcision...thankfully, I guess. Strange how many of my friends had it done. I can see that if it's done sort of wrong it could cause major problems. Yet if it's not done at all, it doesn't ever really dry out in there so it has to be cleaned pretty well. I think I'll stick with the tradition.
  8. Nice you got an answer from Serene. I'm not a mod but wanted to say... The key is to identify whether someone actually insulted or attacked. Not merely that people are feeling insulted and attacked. There's a huge difference, and it can lead to "punishing" innocent people when action is based only upon how the "victims" are feeling. If someone says something clearly offensive, it should be reported, and you should publicly say that it offended you. It will make the mods' job easier, if they decide to take action in your case.
  9. World Peace is near (St. Malachi Prophecy)

When people say "ignorance is bliss" are they actually advocating pure ignorance? Or simply stating a truth, and coming from a perspective of experience in the opposite? The one part of the book which is similar to what you're saying, is where the author says not to be "overwise". But that's coming from a perspective of wisdom. He never says anything like "don't get knowledge, stay stupid". It's really the opposite...people staying stupid are the ones not considering the words in the book. He suggests that a different mindset and lifestyle are the best we can do for feeling happy...for instance, enjoying our labor and our food in the moment. This also comes from a perspective of wisdom...
  10. Essence Over-Exchange

It's good to cultivate masculinity, if you're a guy. Not many will say that in our society, and especially in a place like this forum. Spirituality has its pitfalls, but they can be avoided if you're willing to learn outside the box. The loss of masculinity is one of those pitfalls. Just my experience that it's good to know what manly things are, and to take part in them. You should cultivate what you want to become in your life. Lifting weights has done a lot for me, personally. Your sex drive will soar and you will look more like a man again, after a month or two.
  11. World Peace is near (St. Malachi Prophecy)

You read all of Ecclesiastes and think that it means we should "stay stupid"? There are many layers to it...one is that the book is an attempt to talk about the meaning/s of life. Solomon comes up with a few conclusions, which can be enriching to one's life. There are lots of nuggets of truth throughout the book. Don't know exactly what to say about it...not really qualified...
  12. Welcome to the world of "other people's opinions". Not opposing you at all here...just saying, this is common in life. I hope you can feel good about yourself.
  13. World Peace is near (St. Malachi Prophecy)

Best to read the whole chapter. Or "book". Whatever it's called.
  14. World Peace is near (St. Malachi Prophecy)

Totally not the point of that verse...
  15. World Peace is near (St. Malachi Prophecy)

"Everything is meaningless." - The Bible
  16. I think what I wrote should answer any questions about what I wrote...not to sound rude, Seth...but please try to fully comprehend my words instead of assuming I'm on the opposite side of a debate.
  17. Right Wing War Against LGBT's

I could give a fuck about what you think of my delivery. Done here!
  18. Right Wing War Against LGBT's

Yup, that's what I said. I did not dig myself into a hole...you (and others I suppose) simply thought you saw me in one.
  19. Holding hate or fear in your heart has no benefit.
  20. Right Wing War Against LGBT's

Yes I said they tend to be STD-ridden. They are. Not to say that if someone is gay, they are. They might not be. Like a gay man in this topic said, those in the gay community are a different thing than simply being gay. As for my response to the other part, I have no idea why you're questioning me like that. I'm kind of offended by you bringing up Christianity and celibacy. What does any of this have to do with anything? I'm not anti-gay-people. I'm pro-people.
  21. The thought police have arrived. What about the ones who want to rid the world (or this forum) of all racist, sexist, homophobes, etc? Aren't they attacking who people are personally, as well? I think so! Not to say that racism, sexism, or homophobia are at all good. They are not. I don't support those things. But I support the idea of letting people be who they are. A gay person should be left as they are. Why not a homophobe? Why should that person be ostracized from a community (which is the real crime!)?
  22. Right Wing War Against LGBT's

I think it's full of baggage? Sorry...had a long day, and not in the mood for other people's stuff, or anyone's inability to reason. I think there's nothing wrong with pointing out that gay men tend to have an STD issue. Anything you think I'm getting at beyond that is your own projection. Really, it is. No one should be shocked by someone stating a truth, or their personal experience with it. Really, they should not.
  23. Right Wing War Against LGBT's

Yeah personal experience isn't necessarily conclusive. But statistics from the CDC are...so I really don't see the point!
