My personal experience...actual celibacy is better than retention or "tantric sex". It's like changing the oil of your car...makes it run smooth and last longer. Provides real energy. Prevents against stagnation. Has a much more pure feeling. Once you become sexual, all of the energy goes to that...best to avoid even a thought or sight of sexuality, if on the celibate path. If you can do it!

Just to throw my 2 cents in... I've noticed more attention from women(and not just the kind where they glance at you)... 1) The day or two after being with a woman. 2) After not masturbating for over a week. It's a very very strong phenomenon.

So then lets see you make it happen! Enough theory... Let us know how it goes! I really do wish you luck in finding something enjoyable, and not a pain to do.

I don't want to keep offering advice, but... you don't need to quit studying that long. A break means go for a walk, go do something enjoyable, then come back and study...not take days off and blame "kundalini" for why you aren't doing well at your duties. The only "can't" is in your head. You're not going to die if you study as much as you should. You're not going to die if you do a back bend or lift heavy loads. You can do anything. If you get less sleep, you can wake up on time and simply be a little tired. That will help you the next night. Kundalini respects your space when you do what you need to do...I don't usually like anthropomorphizing it, but that's a truth I've found. It's not good to blame. Twitching and vibrating are not the end of the world, and insomnia can be dealt with in ways that you can simply google.

So you realize that this strategy obviously doesn't work...

Work creates money in reality...if you start to believe this, you will find yourself able to have money, travel and learn qigong. If you can believe yourself to the point of not working and somehow having money, then more power to you. That'd be awesome. It didn't work for me, though. Coming from a karmic perspective...if you don't earn what you get, you're going to have to pay that off somehow in the future. Someone else could be paying for your expense...I once read about how Taoists believe that if you use magick to win money, your ancestors (both past and future) end up paying for it. How does it feel to make your son poor so you can be rich? It's better to use magick to get yourself into the position of being able to work for your living. Be honorable. Then surprisingly your magick (or your belief) can very strongly impact your reality...because it's line with I guess what we could say is Divine will.

Yup, you've got the signs of kundalini syndrome or qigong psychosis. Stop the thinking, just be aware of the beautiful things in your surroundings. The "cultivating heartfulness" link in my signature helped me to get well again. It also helps me to lift weights. Maybe in the beginning, it will seem like it's not helping...but it ends up being very grounding. Stop smoking pot, since that makes it worse. If you do a search here you might find some more helpful answers. You might want to find a new therapist, who you can be totally honest with.

What you essentially said was: everyone has all sorts of conflicting desires inside, and in order to get what you want out of them, you choose a direction for them to take...which WILL have negative repercussions (society thinking she is a slut, etc). Furthermore, you insist that it's good to bring women to their instinctual level of desires, rather than the conscious level of intelligence, foresight and intuition. At least in my view, that approach is obviously not in line with her true will.

Yup, take breaks every 50 minutes and walk, stretch the legs, etc. It's true that excess studying can do this...but you also get used to it after some time. I always say, stop worrying about your symptoms. Just think of them as temporary signs of purification, revealing that you're becoming healthier and more balanced. Worrying about them, trying to stop them from happening in extreme ways, these things will only make it worse and prevent you from returning to normal. Relax.

Immortal4life, I apologize for being offensive earlier. Feel free to be who you are. Really. I appreciate you being here, being yourself, being interested in what you are, experimenting with ideas....and I only had a moment of smugness and white knight syndrome, forgetting that there is actually nothing wrong with you. I just personally find problems with the PUA approach, because it doesn't take the individual "prey" into consideration. It's a numbers game, and if you cast your net far and wide, eventually you get a fish or two. There is no concern for actually being interested in who these women are as people...that fish you catch generally turns out to be an unfulfilling "meal", or relationship....a lack thereof....most guys want mutual love, deep down. They want someone who has good personality and is interesting, and not just a hook up with a programmable robot of flesh. So while it seems to work, sometimes in a scary way because this stuff actually circumvents the conscious mind and will of the prey, it isn't the kind of thing which is in line with spirituality. It isn't a good vibe, and doesn't create good character in yourself. Not saying that to further ridicule or put you down...just sharing an opinion which might be helpful in your life. Maybe you've already had these ideas, and think that PUA stuff is fine and you can find what you are looking for by using it. That is possible. Best of luck.

I signed up for their course a while back, which just started this past week. It's still possible to sign up for the next week or two, and then you can watch the old classes in the archive section. Every book is free (which amazes me), and the course is free...in addition to the free self study course (which you see in the OP). A good sign. I like what I've learned so far...although it is a bit different, and can be a bit slow getting to the good stuff it seems.
