  1. Info on kunlun book(s)?

Yo. I said my opinion, in bold.
  2. Info on kunlun book(s)?

Gold flower will accomplish red phoenix. When you practice these things, you're giving yourself transmission. The books were technically made so that people who are never able to see Max could achieve something. Be careful with the tongue positioning...I personally stick to the fire point, since my focus with all of this stuff is more on self healing. Just my unqualified opinion...I know Max says that the students must see him in order to attain Gold Dragon Body. I'm skeptical, and think it could be done with just a basic knowledge of the practices. edit: Remember when Kunlun first came onto the scene? We were told that it's all about self-empowerment...that you don't need a teacher once you have the practices, etc. That Max left all of the dogma of the traditions behind. Those were admirable qualities...
  3. Can't get to chat anymore

    Thanks dudes/dudettes, you rock.
  4. Bunch of butt hurt racists attempting to petition the Obama administration to allow their state to secede here: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petitions I like the petitions regarding deporting those who signed the secession petitions.
  5. On the psychosis aspect of qi deviation... Some of the best advice a friend gave me was, "Just pretend you're ignorant of everything." Understand that while it can be interesting and magickal to think about synchronic events that happen (for instance, SunLover recently said "the sun is out so I must be saying something right" as if the sky was solely connected to his words alone), these are always meaningless. A "grasping for the wind". It doesn't mean anything in regard to your destiny if the sun is out or if it's cloudy...that's just nature's fluctuations. Sometimes there may seem to be a connection, but other times not...don't be like a gambler and only pay attention to when it's working...pay attention to when it doesn't work as well. Do not connect the dots! Do not search for secrets of the universe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPjhEsZr8Nw Synchronic events are causally unrelated (so not directly connected by anything, by definition)...and the meaning is added by you rather than inherent in the happening. It is truly just coincidence. The meaning derived is truly just delusion. If you're honest with yourself, you will find that your magick is fallible...your meaning won't always work...in that case, accept that you've been delusional and let go of all of the wild ideas for your own sake. The sun doesn't come out when you're saying something right, and clouds don't come out when you're saying something wrong! So a way out of some types of psychosis (delusional thinking), is to finally realize how the search for meaning is harmful. (it's very freeing when your virtue or happiness doesn't depend on random signs happening in the macrocosm)
  6. Self Worth Of A Young Man

There are some ideas out there...that there are beta males, and alpha males. Beta males are the weaker ones without girls, and alpha males are the strong ones with girls, etc. But there is a third type. Omega male. Someone who is 'above' even the shallow alpha male, due to not even compromising himself to play the silly little game. Who leads life by principles. Who sees that the projected strength is usually only a facade. Who has a quiet calm, that is unshaken by whatever happens...AKA real strength. Things may bug him, especially the social weirdness...but it doesn't mean he's willing to change himself, as alphas do. He does what needs to be done. Rather than being outcast from the group, this person has always been a bit of an outsider...mostly due to just how he is, and his own choices. Don't mistake yourself for a beta, when you're actually an omega. Knowing who you are, knowing a different form of strength to cultivate, as an alternative to embarrassment, might help.
  7. Self Worth Of A Young Man

I was once roommates with a pimp kinda dude. He had a different girl every weekend, whereas I barely saw two girls the entire semester and was still a virgin. We butted heads and I got a new roommate, who wasn't such a jerk (and didn't throw bars of soap at my head when I snored...jeez). ...but later on I asked him how he got with so many girls. He took the time to really try to help me with his advice, which he at one point needed himself. He learned it from some other people when he needed help with it...so you may want to ask your housemates for tips on how to man up. Join the man club. It's not so bad. It's good to have friends and work on developing yourself, and being successful. Not trying to convince you to give up your character...you always have free will, and your own moral compass. AND ALWAYS USE PROTECTION. ALWAYS. ... One of the things the pimp dude did, even though he was already getting girls...he spent a lot of time caring about the gym and nutrition. Exercise will boost your confidence! Being lean and muscular will go a long way towards getting respect. And imagine if you looked something like this: Your self esteem issues would hardly even matter. In that case, the shyness would be totally "cute" rather than something to avoid.
  8. What do you wish you'd learned as a kid?

A few things I wished I'd learned as a kid (by the time I got out of high school) - Fluency in at least one other critical foreign language and culture. - Managing money. Knowing first hand what it would take to get by in the real world, through role playing with actual rewards and losses (like reduced allowance for the week). - Understanding investments and having parents start a portfolio early on, that you take over with their help. - Understand the options for a job that doesn't require the typical 4 year college. Apprenticeships, like electrician. Tech degrees, like working in IT. Understanding the jobs that pay off with more college, like architect, or doctor. This is what you're aiming to do for the rest of your life, so it's important to spend the majority of time looking into it and maybe job shadowing. - Impressive study skills, starting at a young age. At least personally, this is what kept me from attempting med school...and now I'm making not even a quarter of what those guys typically make. Do it first thing after school until homework is done to an A level! - clear understanding of how the country works, and how to be effective in changing things. Already be thinking about what's worth fighting for, and understand current events as well as history. - understand the way people are...for instance, knowing that in general, if you're fat you will likely be disrespected by others...whereas if you're really in shape, there's a greater chance of people respecting you in all ways. Also, know how important character is. As shallow as the whole game is, know that it's better to play by the rules, and at least understand them rather than live in denial, and be controlled.
  9. And here's something to contrast the entirely misleading county map...
  10. I'm not here to argue for the guy, or for the corruption in politics and the media.
  11. Lets be clear: that doesn't mean they get any of their income from the government.
  12. Trust me, that's inaccurate even for part of their income. You may have misunderstood what the article was about, rather than the Times being wrong. This 47% number was something Romney came up with, in a controversial video that was leaked to the press from a private $50k plate dinner and talk. He was speaking to the rich and perpetuating the lie that the lower classes are just trying to get their "hard earned" money. That video is probably the main reason why he lost the election.
  13. I haven't been there myself, but I say India. Not perfect, but many people there have been raised in spiritual culture from birth. ...by the way. The Indians that I know seem to place a lot of value on being well educated. More misunderstandings of what spirituality is about, SunLover.
  14. I'm with you. This topic is specifically about how to help someone with qigong deviation (or something to that effect). Glad you're enjoying the book.
  15. Just amateurs thinking they're something special. Best to avoid their advice in regard to this issue...I'm sure they lack real personal experience. And such types care more about being elevated above the rest, rather than actually helping others and contributing to the forum.
  16. The link in my signature titled, "Cultivating Heartfulness" is what I have found most healing for qigong deviation...having been through it personally. I was hospitalized twice in the midst of it, and toward the end consulted with a psychologist for a few times. I've been well for about a year and a half now. I suggest that you don't practice qigong (especially dantien methods) while you're messed up. Some advice from people (regardless of whether they are a teacher or immature taobum) may be good, or it may have absolutely devastating results. My opinion is that dantien stuff will be devastating. Trust your own experience, above that of anyone else. Teachers and lineages are meaningless in regard to fixing qigong deviation...unless they have an extensive track record of fixing this issue. I don't know of a single teacher who does. If one claims to, I'd ask them to prove it, for free. Best of luck to those brave souls who experience this.
  17. I don't know if you were just doing that British sarcasm thing, but to be clear...no, as I've pointed out, not anywhere close to 47% of US voters rely on the government for their income. Mr Obama won because he was the lesser of two evils, and thankfully, the majority of Americans recognized that. Doesn't mean it was the best outcome...
  18. So back to what Ron Paul (and other Republicans have been trying to convince us of)...14% of America gets food stamps (and not other forms of assistance)...that's hardly a majority. And not it isn't "welfare"...it is government assistance. America is not a welfare-state, and most of us don't have entitlement issues. 86% of us apparently. Not saying that many people getting food stamps is necessary or a good thing. Side note: do you realize that the Libertarian party wants all taxes abolished? Yeah. For real. There goes our plans for balancing the budget. Sounds good in theory...disaster in reality. Funny story...I tried to apply for food benefits in Michigan, during my last year of college. I wasn't able to work, because my major required me to work about 30 hrs/week without pay, in addition to classes. Weird thing was...the state required me to have a paying job before being able to collect. ...if I had a paying job I wouldn't have needed help! Had to get that help from my dad.
  19. Eye pain +acting frantic+ sore back =what exactly?

Maybe do kidney massage/hands on kidney area, with breathing gently (lungs), as a main qigong method for a while. Eye tension, frantic thoughts...to me that indicates the monkey mind going wild. If you look at something calmly for 5 minutes each day, studying its every detail, not focusing on anything else, that should help calm you down immensely.
  20. I know he wasn't just referring to those specifically on welfare...and because of that, I totally disagree with that point of view. With most of our population working hard, it was a ridiculous comment. The majority of American population is just trying to get by, and had nothing to do with our country getting 16 trillion in debt. Having laws that protect the poor and help those who need it, and having hard working Americans vote in favor of such laws, are not the problem. I'm not so keen on Libertarian conservative ideas...everyone for themselves, no government help? Recipe for disaster. I totally don't buy that Libertarians are a party separate from Republicans. Same shit, different name. I'm with you on Obama doing too many things that subvert the Constitution and "legally" control our lives. I'm with you on what Iceland did, and the corruption of the bankstas.
  21. "The Federal government plans to take in $2.902 trillion for FY2013." (revenue) "For FY 2013, budget spending is estimated at $3.803 trillion -- much more than the revenue being taken in. A whopping 60% of the budget must go towards mandatory programs, such as Social Security, Medicare and Military Retirement benefits. These expenditures are mandated by law, and cannot be changed." If these numbers are right...the mandatory programs (60% of 3.803 trillion) apparently aren't the problem in 2013 (don't know about other years). It will come to about $2.282 trillion, 0.62 trillion under our revenue. edit: In another area the website says: "Mandatory Spending at $2.293 trillion in FY 2013, is 60% of the U.S. Federal Budget." So 0.609 trillion under federal revenue.
  22. Do you really want to date someone who would toy with people's hearts, who doesn't even match you in personality?
  23. To get the percentage, I took the welfare category divided by the current US population. 4.1% includes unemployment benefits and maybe food stamps. I'm with you on all that you said! What is an example or rethinking welfare type programs?
  24. Cast an honesty spell on her...that she is only capable of revealing to you the truth about what she intends for you.
