Exactly...so long as it remains true that, "there is no proof". Anyway, I don't think whether a person claims they believe in God or not really matters at this point in human development...the heart matters more. Thanks for the dialogue, Marblehead.

Only to some. At this forum, there is the group that holds these opinions (quite vocally), and then there are the other groups that do not. I saw his XSZ video and found it interesting. A good side or beginning practice that is physical. One trustworthy Taoist that I know took further training with him, and dropped everything else. Another practitioner of the same caliber has taken training and didn't regret it at all. So at least personally, I'm not interested in seeing people try to shut down all positive discussion about teachers here. Didn't they say in Bambi..."if you have nothing good to say, better to say nothing at all"? Let the interested people be interested...your vitriolic gossip has no bearing on what genuine seekers will want to explore.

You consider yourself to be Atheist, Marblehead? Maybe I should pull out the old logic textbook, and do some exorcisms here! But the Tao keeps making me let go of my cares...damnit.

Some say there's no evidence of God's existence. I look all aroud and see otherwise, but I'll give them that point...we can say there is no proof of his existence for the sake of argument. But we can also say that there is no proof of his non-existence. That's even more true, since it's completely impossible for someone to know. Strictly logically speaking, a truthful person must be either an agnostic or else someone who has experienced God's existence directly. I could whip out the logic book, but that'd be a huge chore. I don't care enough. Something to look into for those who love logic as a subject...something to try and argue about if they consider themselves Atheist.

I have no idea if cucumbers are capable of self reflection...doesn't seem to be the case! Maybe about as much as someone with a lobotomy...probably less. But of course they have life and existence. Not the human kind with cardiac tissue that miraculously pulsates on its own, but yeah. PS: Mmmmm...iced coffee! Want some, cucumbers?....anyone???? No? Okay more for me.

Something totally transparent.

Something to consider is that the role of a religion or a religious person is not to put others on a guilt trip. Even in Christianity, which everyone assumes is totally condemning of everything, that's the wrong way! Spirituality is about forgiveness, mercy, providing protection and well being for all people unconditionally. Becoming a totally good person. As Nietzsche said, "When fighting monsters, be sure not to become a monster yourself." Of course, it doesn't protect the victims of sexual abuse when you allow sexual abusers to continue unabated.

Their stance is illogical...impossible to prove that a god doesn't exist. A softcore moderate Agnostic is the most cuddly species.

Bros before hos. Edit: Also, shiva means "auspicious one"...you know, the one that you want on your side! He doesn't merely destroy, he plays all roles: "creator, preserver, destroyer, concealer, and revealer (to bless)" (source: wikipedia).

In other similar portrayals, a story I heard is that 'the man' is actually shiva who sacrificed himself to stop kali from destroying humanity. Of course, shiva is not one to be conquered...he's just lying down for a rest. ...also kali is helping his kan and li with her feet.

Or the man, for that matter. ...or the floating dwarf cannibal.

Yes I don't understand their attachment to dark/post-Satanic crap, their own interpretations of white/black magick, or even the Egyptian neter Set. Too much baggage for me to get involved, but I do like the ideas presented.

Fun thought! Here's a relevant essay, from an organization which focuses pretty much solely upon humanity's unique qualities (I am not part of this group but find it interesting): https://xeper.org/pub/pub_gil.html

I don't like/trust people that don't like/trust dogs...for real. What the heck is wrong with you? The subject of vicious breeds has been beaten to death, and speaking more and more and more is not going to convince anyone else. It's not going to change anything. In fact, I am thinking about getting a pitbull for a pet. Now: FEEL THE FEAR!

Why I am Diligent in curbing my Lust and Sexual Desires

Nope...a lot of other people here experiment with suppressing sexual desires, myself as well. That's not the issue at all. -
Why I am Diligent in curbing my Lust and Sexual Desires

I suggest to you, Tulku: seek counseling/professional mental health services. It is apparent to many of us that you require this help, and your words have been becoming more unstable as you've been here lately. You should not be feeding your delusions, and perpetuating the dark energy that is engulfing you by attracting such negative attention here. I suggest to the mods: ban tulku for trolling, and also to help him find a more useful outlet for whatever he's going through (like professional mental health services). ...I say this as someone with personal experience having spiritual/mental health issues...you gotta get your head on straight and chill out. Or very bad things happen! -
---------Scott Squad Message------ Tulku has been reported for trolling. ---------Scott Squad out-----------

I once did chewing on the some fresh tobacco leaf for a type of shamanic detoxing through the gums...pretty nice effect. Can't imagine swallowing tobacco juice, eyuegkkkkkkaaaa (that's the sound of me gagging)!
