It's nice to have teachers and students of various schools come here and share info. What else should we discuss at this forum if not our practice? It's a great way for new people to see that something is happening, and get moving forward with their path...rather than just discussing eachother's egos or whatever.

Pain Killer Sales Soar - Why not try Medical Qigong

I told this ("the body heals itself eventually") to a PA in my clinical rotation last week, and he said, "No it doesn't. Not cancer...not AIDs". Out of respect I just laughed and said nothing else...he was right about those things...but I was thinking, "Yeah but you're not treating cancer or AIDs here. All you treat are sore throats." -
I thought it was the moderator's policy to not delete people's posts, unless they were porn, excessive swearing or something similar. Also thought it was the moderator's policy to consult eachother for a hell of a long time before making moderation decisions. Is it really a good idea to let individual mods make rash decisions that inevitably piss off multiple forum members? Something to look at. Love to all in here.

For the GDB person, they get the answer wrong and then the sword passes through the space between their atoms. Anyway, it's a very interesting thing to experience. RP+K=GDB....we all know that. Some of us here have practiced these two methods for a couple years. It's not impossible to get a little taste of it with daily practice...1 hour is 100 years, 1 minute is 1000 years, 1 second is 10000 years of practice. Why not you? "It can happen in an instant." Kan can manifest the state regularly, which means he has "attained" it...but "everyone already has it, they just don't know it" (direct quote from Max). "If you let go of grasping, it comes. The whole art is surrender." "It's a deep letting go." There are different phenomenon which are closely related to it...like translocation...the step beyond bilocation, where you create a spirit double that's separate from you (maybe materialized)...your physical body is transmuted into that fully and you can "think about a place and you are there". If I remember correctly, gold flower or red dragon (done separately of course) can lead to this advanced ability, although it isn't the same state as GDB. Just related. Worth discussing. In other traditions, I've heard of unique people, without any energy practice, being able to translocate due to the will of God (in their own words, for the atheists in here) and their virtue/need to help others. "Traditionally, only those with the highest virtue could attain GDB." "To go back to your source with your body is the ultimate attainment. Staying and helping others is the highest attainment." "Physical immortality (living forever as this body) is a trap." "You must open your heart to attain anything." "You will never get the attainments of another, you are your own person."

Pain Killer Sales Soar - Why not try Medical Qigong

This is why I am saving and planning for the June workshop. Finally. Very good point. -

Good ideaz. One of my plans for the future is to buy some cheap land near a national forest, and build something similar to this. Have it be like a backup house in case the economy totally fails or I choose to go into hermit mode later in life, or just get away for a while...totally self sufficient, totally paid for upfront, and only needing to pay the very affordable taxes on the land to keep it. Edit: I don't think I could do the humanure thing though. Too much work and disgustingness. Maybe just build an outhouse. I've looked at Army field manulas for setting up a camp...good resource. They tend to keep the waste a certain distance and elevation (down hill) away from the living area for very sensible reasons.

Pain Killer Sales Soar - Why not try Medical Qigong
Aetherous replied to Kempomaster's topic in Daoist Discussion
Two things are required for gaining widespread acceptance (similar to massage): 1) Reliability. The specific healing modality must work nearly 100% of the time for what it claims to do. 2) Accessibility. The healing modality and training must be readily accessible to most people (for instance, at least one practitioner in each state and a training center at least in a neighboring state). This is all that is needed. Massage has met these requirements, and that's why it's accepted for what it claims to do, and why people sometimes pay the high price for an hour of it. These two basic requirements ensure that people will put the time and effort into publishing legitimate studies on it, so that it gains acceptance even from the very vocal very ignorant skeptics. For instance, exercise is free and not something drug companies can make a profit off of, yet people have put a lot of money towards understanding its health benefits in detail... ...because it is reliable and accessible. Until these two basic requirements are met, in relation to effective medical qigong, pain pills will be the choice. Even for me. Seriously, if I were in severe pain I'd go to the doc right now and get some pills...and I even fully believe that medical qigong can work. I don't trust NQA members to alleviate my pain, since despite being a good credential and way to organize qigong practitioners, it's worthless in terms of whether the person is actually an effective healer...for instance, if I have a headache, can the local NQA member alleviate it reliably? I think the truth is: no, they cannot. It only says that they have SOME training in SOME form of qigong. Most forms of qigong are almost useless...just my opinion. It's understandable that when you aim for quantity, you inevitably lose quality. Take Spring Forest qigong for example. Chunyi Lin has a lot of good qualities: he encourages the students to try healing, the healing information can be applied almost immediately, it's simple, the materials are inexpensive and don't necessarily require traveling to see the teacher in order to start healing, he has worked in coordination with Mayo Clinic and has gained some more acceptance, etc. The Spring Forest healing approach is very accessible, but it loses points on reliability. I wouldn't pay a Spring Forest healer to alleviate my shoulder pain, because I don't think they really could. Some thoughts. -
I look forward to reading about your experience with Kan, Cam! Maybe you will be able to ask him more about GDB?

This book seems to have some interesting info from other traditions: http://www.amazon.com/Between-Gates-Projection-Esotericism-ebook/dp/B003CN5R5K/ref=pd_sim_kstore_16?ie=UTF8&m=AG56TWVU5XWC2#reader_1578633966

Amazing idea...thank you! I will try that exactly! I'm totally all about the typical breakfast foods, or variations thereof. Except pancakes...seriously yuck. I have enjoyed fruit smoothies in the past. Although I prefer getting my dose of animal proteins and fats instead.

I was surprised to find on multiple occasions that this Pope has some real power.

It is truly important to acknowledge that Paul had never met Jesus, so a few New Testament books are questionable already because of that. But at the same time, I like some of his writings. Just some.

Hey moderators, This is a strange issue. I am signed into a proxy server right now, so it hides my IP, and I can access the site. But using internet explorer normally, this site won't load at all. All others work fine. Do you think this is a problem on my end? Thanks, Scott

Looks like it works today. It's a miracle! Thanks for your assistance, Apech.

They should study the electromagnetic qualities of perception and focus...which I suspect is the same thing as the heart's field.

Firefox isn't working either. My IP is Thanks for the help guys...if this persists I will

The log in page (whole website) won't load at all. I can log in while under the proxy server with no problem.

In some (many) cases, there's a vast difference between the two. Consider the person "killing" out of self defense. That's not anywhere near rape. Not whatsoever. And there is never a good reason to rape someone, obviously. I don't mean to be offensive, but apparently the nature of war is something that cannot be discussed reasonably by people who haven't been there.
