No need. "Path of no more learning".

Thanks man. Always best to consult with the pros.

I think with earthing, both resonating and exchanging occur. With the exchange, you are giving away your body heat as well as excess electromagnetic energy...if I remember correctly, it's said that negative ions are then given from the earth in exchange...as well as the ability to resonate at a healthier frequency. So it's a good thing to do. I've read that the organs function best without an excess of energy, in one of Yang Jwing Ming's books. In my view, "there is a time for everything". A time to disconnect from the earth, and build qi for some purpose. A time to connect with the earth and drain/ground/harmonize the qi. I was surprised to find out that Jim (the Mo Pai dude) was instructed to do his qi building on the bare ground. I really don't know if a person is slowly harming themselves with that, especially in the winter when the body heat drains out so easily. Anyway, I really am just talking out of my ass...I have no idea.

You might be interested to know, a lot of what he speaks of is Tibetan in origin. For instance, the "five types of bliss" which you were asking about is also part of tummo and the 6 yogas of Naropa. I don't think Max needs to defend his enlightenment, nor do I.

Oh man, that shirt is pimpin.

That was a lot of work, regarding a teacher who only does a few inexpensive seminars a year.

Welcome, Cinnabar palm...wow that sounds awesome.

Maybe I will ask in the next month or so when I do a skype session.

Sweet, Arab. About tennis balls, they are pretty hard in comparison to the becalms. I'd rather use a rolled up towel.

Drew, you should teach your family how to unblock their lower chakras.

I think the race thing refers to extraterrestrials and not different colors of human beings.

Oh ok. Doesn't change a thing.

This has to be a fallacy of some sort. You can't disprove what you haven't experienced. For those of us who have experienced (there goes your theory)...well...for us, "it's a provable fact that there is SOMETHING beyond a human being". Know Thyself...might also mean: Know Thy Place...or Know That You Don't Know.

Yes, but it's meant to be lived as an experience, not something to conceptualize and religiousize. I don't think it's the end of Taoist alchemy...rather, it's just the beginning. It's related to upper dantien practices, as chapter one in the book "Taoist Yoga" describes. Just my view.

Experience, Realization, View, Practice and Fruition

Yesterday I had a good idea for a Sunday morning cartoon: An enormous mountain made out of words, and a true spiritual seeker who finally reaches the top, after a long journey...who experiences disappointment that there is no wise teacher up there...just himself standing on a big pile of words. -
Becalm balls have successfully gotten rid of any headache I've had, when nothing else worked.

I notice negative effects when wearing synthetic clothing, versus natural like cotton. Don't know about its effects when between the earth and the body. It's a really good question. Edit: Also, I think magnetic is the carrier for electric...it's like electric is gold dust and magnetic is water, that can move the electric (kinda like my experience of it). They are inseparable as "qi" or spiritual energy. Magnetic is related to the lower body not necessarily the connection to the earth itself, and electric is related to the upper body but not necessarily the sky itself. Physical connection to the earth ("earthing") causes a balancing of excess energy which is good for health...but it's also a loss of electromagnetic qi. I was taught that this is good some time after practice (like at least an hour later), not during, since it will drain your kidney qi.

Staying at my parent's house, and they don't allow beer! Maybe if I drink enough water it will have a similar effect!

Trouble distinguishing dream state from awake state

Hey! Good point. -
Nonduality = experiencing the Tao in the ten thousand things. Another opinion.

I have read that you are supposed to take kidney yin tonics alongside yang tonics. Is this true?

Trouble distinguishing dream state from awake state

Sounds like you're making great progress. Really. You can learn a lot of secret things from the darker parts of the dream world that will help you in your spiritual practice. Savor this time. Remember that you are good, pure and light...and just visiting these realms. It's like an adventure. Sometimes a lot of it seems meaningless though. Maybe keep a dream journal to help sort things out. Zhan zhuang does have the effect of purifying at very deep levels, and will definitely put you "through the ringer". But purification is good. The unconscious that is stored within your body becomes subconscious, and you have weird dreams...then it becomes conscious and is released as your emotions, or just as extra purified energy and awareness. Breathing continuously helps transmute the negative into positive. Your positive choices and intent shape who you will become as energy is released for your use...be good, pure, simple, happy, loving. Some ideas.
