  1. Six Yogas of Naropa

With "hardcore" practices, you can tell when things are getting weird, and you can take a break. Listen to your body and your feelings.
  2. Six Yogas of Naropa

Well, the prostrations and stuff is just tradition. Sure, it helps a little, but in my view you could start tummo today. That's just me, though...hoping more people experience real yoga and stop having excuses (in this case, from a lineage teacher) in the way of that.
  3. Seth is giving up Buddhism!

You're just assuming that you know what I'm referring to... I'm not looking for a conversation with you, and am out of here.
  4. Seth is giving up Buddhism!

I have directly seen that it's a true notion. What human being can say that they have acquired the experience necessary to rule something out of their world view? If you haven't experienced it, then how can you consider yourself worthy to speak of it? ...maybe I should hop out of the Buddhist section.
  5. Six Yogas of Naropa

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xma-pSYPHFQ Six Yogas of Niguma...Naropa's sister. Don't know if the video is accurate or complete in its description (doubt it).
  6. Nah screw that

I've been on chat for a few mins now, where the hell RU!?
  7. My first full lotus experiences

This is one of the non-BS things.
  8. My first full lotus experiences

Aha. Yes, it's important to have a real teacher of this path...as well as read from multiple sources. Like "Tao of Health, Longevity and Immortality"..."Nourishing the Essence of Life"..."Foundations of Internal Alchemy"...among others. Taoist Yoga is awesome but the translation is all messed up. Aside from the first couple of chapters (if you are an EXCELLENT listener) it's like wandering through the dark. But then again, there are lots of secrets hidden in the dark. Even after 11 years I continually reread the book and figure out new things! And figure out how much of it is pure BS.
  9. Five types of Qigong

Only for you, Fudog. ...just kidding. For me, too.
  10. Seth is giving up Buddhism!

Welcome to the dark side, Seth.

  12. Max Christensen Interview

    Thanks Cam. Sweet interview.
  13. Wheat, small LDL particles and Heart disease

The three worms, according to Michael Saso's translation and commentary on the yellow court classic, refer to various things that make the spirit wander...such as judgments (head), desire for wealth and fame (heart), passions and addiction to the senses (belly). Just another perspective.
  14. Yeah right, SINfest! About the OP...interesting.
  15. http://www.theatlantic.com/infocus/2011/12/the-ashaninka-a-threatened-way-of-life/100208/ I haven't read this article yet, but their face paint is very interesting, so I thought I'd share it here. Don't know if it has a specific purpose spiritually or energetically, as such patterns do in other cultures...but it seems to.
  16. Twenty2 Three3 Seven7

Very possible...this is something that Taoist alchemists specialize in.
  17. Origami!

It's also a fairly common name for human beings.

  22. Confession

"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." - 1 John 4:18
