I do think there is absolute right and wrong. For instance, of course it's wrong for someone to murder (kill innocent people). Of course it's wrong for someone to rape another human being (sex and sometimes violence without consent). To contrast... Of course it's right to give food to homeless people. Of course it's right to donate to charities. There are grey areas of course, but it's all pretty simple.

Haven't seen this yet, but it's apparently from Tendai/Mikkyo (and simply sold on a ninja website): http://mikkyo.ninjutsu.com/ Stephen Hayes' DVD is alright, even though it's also from the infamous ninjas . It's taught in more of a practical psychological manner rather than anything too esoteric. But it does have more of a chakra approach than Lepine's stuff has. He will put the mudras above the crown, then bring it down in front of the throat chakra, and point it outwards (if I remember correctly, while pronouncing it) then will bring it down to the heart. Maybe others here will chime in on other sources...

Do not let them take your pineal power away

Still wondering why you say this. -
There's a theory that the Sphinx was originally a statue of Anubis...

Radiating the love that you are isn't as important as expressing it through action.

That's what is, man. Surrender to being depressed for a while...surrender to not bad, not great. These things are much easier than surrendering to a bear mauling you to death.

I'm interested to know what an example is of this? It seems like if a person is a spiritual seeker, nothing will distract them...perhaps they can be misinformed about things, but there are others on the forum who try to correct when wrong things are being said (that's part of why there's almost always some sort of argument or debate happening). So, are there really "agents" here who can turn people away from their path? And do people think that these are government agents or something? That they are representatives of some other group? What do people think the motives of these agents are, in turning people away from the path?

Welcome to the big leagues. -
Oh man, he pulled out the definition of definition!

Vmarco, While that is true, many of your posts have been very biased against Christianity as a whole...not just the fascist element. Lets try to keep this in mind as we continue here. It requires honesty.

Jetsun, Might want to go back to your therapist and confront some more of your own shit before pointing the finger, bud. You don't know me or anyone else involved in those discussions. It'd be a great forum if we all took the time. But, who cares, right?

Nope. Methods using only the mind to influence the qi. No particular body posture. No attention on how I'm breathing.
-
ChiDragon, My good results came primarily from mind methods. Also my spine was noticeably healed from these methods, in addition to other things.

Ya Mu's article was pretty sweet!

Now you're just completely making things up.

Vmarco, your presence has been largely insulting here...but I didn't really mind since you posted a few good things in the midst of all of your crap. But what you just said here is plainly an insult, and there's a forum policy against it...you are being reported to the moderators. Try to be less hypocritical.

Christianity, Buddhsim, Religious Taoism

Silence is golden. Anyway, this is about the extent of my patience with you on this subject, Vmarco. Just let me end it by saying this one thing: it doesn't mean you've won the argument when the other person simply leaves you babbling to yourself. It actually means you've been so ridiculous that it's not even worth anyone's time...that the majority of people will see through your bullshit anyway, so who cares. -

This doesn't even make any sense. Learn how to spell first of all, then learn how to form a sentence that people will understand, then learn how to formulate thoughts so you can make an actual point. That is true...there are people out there who interpret the entire Bible literally. They are a minority but tend to be outspoken. If you actually got into a conversation with Christians, you would see that they don't necessarily believe the entire Bible is without error, that they think good deeds are necessary because Jesus himself clearly said so, that accepting Jesus isn't enough, and that many of them don't want to evangelize. Once again, it's the outspoken group that you're referring to. Besides, this is just some asshole's opinion of Christianity...did he actually take surveys to come to this conclusion? Nah...he said "in general". Now, this quote is completely slanted and weird. Christians are NOT like this. This probably represents .0001% of them. And that is already too many, unfortunately. But this is a prime example of you spreading lies, in my opinion. And if you surveyed all Christians, you'd find that VERY FEW would agree with this. Another example of spreading lies. You'd find very few Americans as well as Christians agreeing with this...especially seeing how hypocritical it is. What can I say? She's a moron. These quotes are meaningless. George Bush is a Christian, yes...so is Obama. So were some of the founding fathers, actually. As well as many of the American presidents. Adolf Hitler wasn't a Christian. True, I did not read it. Yes they do. Your view of Christians and their religion is very strange. I view it as a very positive and life affirming religion. The people who are Christian that I know are very virtuous...even more so than the majority of Buddhists, because they actually act on their compassion...as well as define compassion in the CORRECT way. Once again, a completely odd quote which doesn't represent the actual religion. Completely spreading lies. -

Totally agree. There is actually quite a bit of great wisdom in the Bible (Proverbs and Ecclesiastes in the OT, Jesus' words and James in the NT...in addition to many other areas). Religion is just a shell, anyway...what matters is your personal path. ... Vmarco, Stop spreading lies. Your view of things is way off, and the quotes you use are ridiculous. I know you enjoy being the 'heretic', so that's why you're acting the way that you are...but it's not an effective strategy if you're actually trying to get people to agree with you. -
You know what, that's actually really brilliant. A billion blessings to you for coming up with that!

Rainbow Vein, It seems to be talking about the yellow-hall center/yellow court/gold pavilion (huang ting), where the energies from above (fire) and below (water) combine to form the 'spiritual embryo'. That is also my experience of the LDT/sea of qi area, which is simply the bottom portion of this cavity. At least in my experience, when these energies combine, they also rise from the LDT into the solar plexus area, so "under the heart" and "above the genitals" is right: Beneath the LDT (sea of qi point, usually said to be at most 3 finger widths below the navel) is the secret chakra (4 finger widths below the navel). There is a very clear diagram of this on page 172 in Yang Jwing Ming's Embryonic Breathing book. I apologize - I don't have a way of scanning this...hope you have the book, or that someone else is willing.
