No it doesn't sound like it was.
  4. What's in a name?..

My last name means "look into the land" referring to being on top of a mountain, which I'm named after.

  8. MUDRAS

I have enjoyed looking into "jin shin jyutsu" to have some understanding of different points on the body.
  9. Something in the "air"?

What I feel is that negative "energies" are becoming pretty strong, and many people have lost their center. Not knowing who they are, not being able to maintain their inner peace, they're pushed this way and that by these negative changes, acting in ways that aren't typical of who they are supposed to be. I'm included in this, too! It's subtle, and may just be my own projection.
  10. Lethargic

Try standing (zhan zhuang) for half an hour. That usually gives me energy when I'm feeling a little drained. Otherwise, if you're too tired, maybe it'd be good to just rest. There are a lot of unseen influences, and cycles that we go through. Changes in the macrocosm affecting us...such as solar activity, phase of the moon, planet and star alignments, etc. I don't know much about any of it...those are the studies of someone who is into feng shui/yijing, jyotish, western magick, etc. So it could be from something like that. Another thing is that sometimes if you overdo a practice, it will make you tired. Maybe too much for the body to process at once. These are just my guesses.
  11. Sleeping in half lotus

This is not a good idea. An extremity deprived of blood flow can actually die after 6 hours, among other big health risks, such as a blood clot traveling to the heart or brain once circulation is restored. I think 2 hours is the absolute maximum time recommended to apply tourniquets (or otherwise cut off circulation) before problems occur.
  12. Military Training

I buy into it as well.
  13. involuntary semen loss

Well this could be part of the "problem", because you're being overstimulated sexually, and the energy isn't being circulated enough. Do you practice other things, such as small circulation?
  14. waking up shaking - concerned

Yeah the body can do really weird things when you're in and out of consciousness. It's a normal part of the process. It's hard to tell what's really happening from what you're saying on this forum, so "see a doctor" should be the default answer when someone says they wake up shaking.
  15. waking up shaking - concerned

Sometimes shaking is energy trying to pass a blockage. If you smile really big and look upwards for a moment, it should help. But you say this was going on before you started practicing? If you feel that it's necessary you should consult with a doctor.

  17. Meow Meow

Well technically she's not fully evil. She is just going to be at "round 3" within the ninth circle of Hell. Her face will be out of the ice, so she will still be able to talk to the reporters. She might get promoted to the left hand of Satan, though, due to severely agitating her neighbors in the ninth circle.
  18. Increasing Jing

Yeah, which isn't such a bad thing for some guys. Seems that jing is increased and replenished through "brain/marrow washing" practices, using your mind to solve problems, exercising, plus drinking and eating. Then to conserve jing: sexual moderation, meditation, calm lifestyle, etc. If something makes you more sexual, it's probably using up your jing and slowly shortening your life, unless you replenish it.
  19. Increasing Jing

I don't consider myself to be qualified to speak on this, and I find Taoism/TCM terminology to be very confusing at times, but the bolded parts are the view I take... Jing from wikipedia "Production of semen, in the man, and menstrual blood (or pregnancy), in the woman, are believed to place the biggest strains on jīng. Because of this, some even equate jīng with semen, but this is inaccurate; the jīng circulates through the 8 extraordinary vessels and creates marrow and semen, among other functions." "One is said to be born with a set amount of jīng (pre-natal jīng, also sometimes called yuan qi) and also can acquire jīng from food and various forms of stimulation (exercise, study, meditation.) Theoretically, jīng is consumed continuously in life; by everyday stress, illness, substance abuse, sexual intemperance, etc. Pre-natal jīng by definition cannot be renewed, and it is said it is completely consumed upon dying."
  20. She wants me to cum

Makes for an informative first date!
  21. Why dismiss entheogenic experiences?

"so that's why not everybody's doing the buddha thing, because it's like you're opening yourself up to all of the suffering, because you're being the beings... ...it's like being a pain magnet... ...you meet that with the ocean of compassion that you are." I like his take on it.
  22. Modern Magick

Great book for those seeking to understand Western magick.
  23. River Phoenix

I never really knew much of the deceased actor, but an interesting synchronicity has occurred today (his birthday: Aug 23rd 1970) which leads me to believe that he is to be remembered and honored. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/River_Phoenix
  24. Meow Meow

Is it evil action to throw a little kid into a dark room for 15 hours?
