Hundun, Oh I know...things were taught differently in the past for any number of reasons. It's kunfusing!

If I wrote a book on the path, I would not be concerned with making money. I'd write it for people who were seeking real info, and would hope that those who are going to put it to good use are going to get their hands on it in any way possible. Why else write a spiritual book? I suspect the authors have similar intentions, having read the return policy on the site. I will do the same with any ebook I own...especially one priced so high (even if it's worth it, and even if the authors deserve the money for their hard work).

Okay I think I have a link working finally. Just PM me if you're interested. Also please let me know if anything doesn't work.

Francois Lepine's Kuji Mastery (3rd) ebook tells a little. Mudra Vigyan by Acharya Keshav Dev has lots of great info, from a Vedic perspective. I highly recommend that for those who are interested in this. There's a Jin Shin course has interesting info on the hands. It is very expensive so I hope to share some of that as soon as I get the file sharing working... It seems most teachers think that you should just practice and not understand how it works. Well, yeah maybe that will get you somewhere but then you can't play around with it, and make it your own. One approach/practice is not good for every situation, and every person. So I think it'd be great to get a full, accurate and universal understanding of the workings of the hand.

I look at it as a group buy. If I bought a great softcover book, I would share it freely with my friends. I wouldn't keep it on my bookshelf and tell them to go buy their own copy. What makes an ebook different? It should actually be worth less. For those who are willing to pay close to 100 dollars for a book, then it's good to purchase it and support the authors. Thanks to balance for putting his morality on the line and sharing/helping everyone here!

Hello Hundun, To clear some misconceptions up... This isn't true at all. Kunlun is a system of many practices, and red phoenix would be a more important one. Yi gong in Kunlun is done in a very different way (internal), and has a more alchemical focus...for this reason it isn't called yi gong, and isn't considered to be equivalent to yi gong. In my experience having tried both ways, the internal way is a greatly superior approach. You're right, none of it has any relation to Kunlun mountains, except through Taoist mythology. It was called Kunlun for other reasons, such as meaning the top of the head representing the peak of a mountain (all that it represents symbolically). Also the word Kun-lun itself has an interesting relationship with pre-Taoist shamans, and it also represents the path to immortality in Taoist myth. I haven't studied with Sifu Jenny, but I know what she teaches and I disagree very much. When it comes to Kunlun, if you feel interested in it, it's best to see for yourself and not believe the gossip. (This is all that I will say about the subject...just to clarify the truth of the matter. I don't want to act as some Kunlun spokesperson on this forum...that's too much of a responsibility, to represent the whole tradition, as well as deal with the false impressions of who I am. I just want to be Scott. If people want to start arguments, as has happened so often in the past, I will just have to try my hardest to not post. ) Peace to you, Hundun.

About "the stronger spirit wins"... If you just keep your attention in your heart/central channel during the times you're feeling drained/negative, it helps!

I have gotten a few emails...haven't figured out how to upload the gigantic files, so I guess I won't be sharing the videos. For instance, one of the files is 722 MB. Most file sharing sites don't allow that much. I signed up for MediaFire which does, and kept trying to upload to it, but for some reason it wouldn't work. Oh well, the books are just as good. They can actually be found for free on scribd.com for those who can't afford it.

Durkhrod, Check out the book Riding Windhorses.

There's always an exchange with this. It's better to just shine.

The way that he teaches it isn't dangerous.

We become more sensitive as we progress. It's best to look at the negativity as our own emotions. It's not good to blame other people for making you feel bad...you're not actually taking on their emotions. They just make you feel that way...so change the way you're made to feel. You can't change other people, or make them go away. It's our responsibility as spiritual practitioners to take the negativity and dissolve it into enlightenment. To be responsible for our own feelings. I like a few methods: 1) Gold Flower from Kunlun (it's in the book). Also the 'metal' standing posture. 2) Kuji-in from Francois Lepine. He also has a technique called emotional transmutation, where you simply face whatever emotions are present and breathe. 3) Smiling and laughing. Yelling, or singing. Bowing. Going for a walk or jog. Being in nature. Clapping in front or above you. Doing the "devil horn" sign with your hands. Hitting a punching bag....these are all some other ideas. 4) Simply doing belly breathing...this is very calming, but sometimes if emotions are too strong it's not enough.

That feels right to me.

Nope. But if you look at history, you find that no country lasts forever. It's good to be ready for that.

To me, she seems like a mirror.

Great suggestion, Brother!

Yes, I also got a sample of this and tried it. Although puerhs aren't for me, this one is the best that I've encountered.

What he did was externally symbolic of the internal process, of inner "fire" purifying the spirit through willpower. This action revealed a major aspect of the spiritual path for everyone who has looked at it, in a deep part of their being. It truly would take a soulless person to look at it and honestly say that it doesn't move them in some way. Even those who don't consciously recognize the significance of the act have been changed deep within. I personally believe in prolonging one's own life, but bow out of love and respect to him.

I agree, Mal - that thread is amazing. Such respect shown.

The most important thing: invest in water filters (I like Berkey). Besides air, water is the most important thing to our survival. Without it, we die within a week. If it's contaminated, we easily become sick...diarrhea means dehydration, and that can easily turn into death. Sources are everywhere, rain/snow/lakes/oceans/rivers/wells/dew/within certain plants/in urine...but pure sources can be hard to come by, especially in developed areas.
