  1. Music and qi-gong (chi-gong)

There are some frequencies which obliterate the mind, so in those cases it'd be beneficial.
  2. Dating Advice (Spin off from another thread)

Contrary to what most assume, masculinity is calm and joyful. The greatest warriors at the end of the day laugh happily, and love their lives...the worst warriors keep a scowl on their face...the violence follows them home from the hunt, and stays in their bodies, making them all tense. Who is more manly? The tense person has a lot of fear, despite forcing himself to run into battle. His body clenches up like ice. The open person has no fear, even if he waits until the time is right to rush in. Appearances can be deceiving! Going on a killing spree because you can't cope with reality...that makes a person, a man? It seems that type of person would be the least manly. No root in them. No guts. Becoming addicted to heroin and banging 2.6 girls a day...is this the sign of a person who gets what they want, or a person who is desperately trying? Is desperation manly? Or is having your shit together manly? Once again appearances are deceiving...drive doesn't equal manliness.
  3. Music and qi-gong (chi-gong)

Interesting experience, Kate! Personally, most music disturbs my energy right away (which means that the right music would be very activating). Then I get used to it, and rock out. By the way...consider what the inner sounds are/what they could do.
  4. Mountain/Eagles!?

Who delineates these levels? Are they in a book somewhere? You came up with them yourself? (not that there's anything wrong with that) You should know that other people aren't communicating in the same framework as you. I don't know what third level awareness means for instance.
  5. Mountain/Eagles!?

Where does this information come from?
  6. Mountain/Eagles!?

    Don't be worried.
  7. Lucky Mojo Forum

Yeah a lot of it is.
  8. Lucky Mojo Forum

    Cool, thanks for sharing.
  9. The Last Airbender - Book 1

Just saw it today. The criticisms are accurate: bad acting from most of the cast, plot was rushed, lack of humor... However these things didn't stop me from enjoying it! I give it a B-.
  10. Ejaculation and aching back, knees and malaise

I'd say, primarily work with your acupuncturist on this.
  11. That's very similar to the story of Milarepa.
  12. Electricity in my upper back

I've found that it's dangerous to do some yogic techniques while flying. If I were you I'd go to an acupuncturist and make sure your organs (especially heart) are in good working order.
  13. boosting immunity

Agreed. Try cold water and see how you feel. Especially since it's summer time.
  14. how to cool the body

You can also put the white rinds in the refrigerator then rub them on your skin before a shower.
  15. Embryonic Breathing

I have the small circulation DVD. It's alright. I wouldn't skip the embryonic breathing book.
  16. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

    I'll PM ya.
  17. having integrity and still getting laid

I agree with you de_paradise. I realized how judgemental it sounded, and was trying to edit my post, but I'm not good with words.
  18. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Nice to see something positive here. Thanks, teachers.
  19. meditation and music

It can be distracting, but sometimes being distracted is good in order to have a break through. I like shakuhachi music, because it's calming and it ebbs and flows. Periods of silence, periods of wildness, periods of beauty. Try it out.
  20. Changing the taste of liquids?

    His cup is too full...
