Welcome...glad you're participating now. I like your writing style.

Boris, that video was great. ... In all seriousness, I kind of like Christianity. It teaches good things (much better than not being raised with any morality at all)...although a lot of the time these Christians completely fuck it up. "You don't believe in 'God'? Well then you should die and burn in eternal hellfire!" Doesn't really match up with what Jesus was all about. But they don't care...it's what they're spoon fed in their misguided churches. I think the pope is spiritually powerful. I heard him speaking in Italian on the radio once during some kundalini craziness, and it really activated me. I had to pull my car over and turn it off, because it was too strong...wasn't grounded at all back then. I think the Catholic church is actually "pagan", and only a few understand the truth of this.

That's awesome!

So this is Drew's fault!

Agreed.

Well there's a lot of fear and anger surrounding the debate...that means a lot of strong energy. That's why I think my computers got fried. I wasn't refining it enough. Normally I'd just write this off as a coincidence, but two computers in two days is a little strange. I think being for or against a practice is stupid. I'm just Scott.

Doesn't sound good, man. There are a lot of "bad vibes" surrounding the Kunlun debate. Two of my computers also died in the midst of it.

I know it's entertaining to get everyone's opinions on your personal life, but I say, why ask others...if you want to talk to her again, then do so. If she doesn't want to talk, then you will have learned a lesson. If she does want to talk, then good! Take chances, man. And learn from your mistakes!

Cool, who was that teacher?

This isn't about SFQ vs KAP, at all. It's about spamming the forum. SFQ rocks. If a person is enthusiastic, they can make posts of substance where they mention the product and link it. Or they can link to events, such as free web interviews, as Drew has done in the past.
-
"But it's not spam." Oh really? Linking to a commercial website in a post that contains little to no substance is a commercial message...even if the person isn't making any money on it. Doing it multiple times (23) is very disruptive. Another definition which I saw on urban dictionary said the word "unsolicited". That's exactly what happened in the lobby, in at least most of the cases. People weren't asking for advice on where to learn.

Hmm...we'll see if it lasts. It's not like anyone has actually changed their minds yet. ...Looking forward to what Steve says, and more of winpro's posts...

Nothing against Drew, marketing on the forum, or SFQ...but it is totally spam, and it'd be nice if it wasn't allowed.

There are simple rules to follow here. Anyone can easily make their point without resorting to insulting, swearing, and threatening attacks (physical, psychic, etc).

Okay, I'm young and I peeked, but in agreement. It's so strange sometimes here that it's almost not funny.

I bet someone's going to come along and say, "no man it's true that psychiatric drugs cause suicide!" Well, that's about the same as saying, "people who drive cars get in car accidents." The truth is that many more people drive cars just fine, and it's very useful to them...it's rare to get in a crash normally. Same with the drugs. If it REALLY didn't work, they wouldn't use it. Because "they" are just like us...just normal people trying to help others.
-
Both of those claims are totally ridiculous.
-
I'd be wary of strangers on the internet giving you advice for serious problems, which you obviously have trouble solving yourself. To those who are saying that seeing a professional is a bad idea: do you want to be responsible for someone's suicide? Have some humility and admit that you don't know what you're talking about!

When? You said that a couple months ago. Go this week.

Non, Have you seen a psychiatrist yet?

How to Contact The Ascended Masters

I had some bad dreams about Max at one point. The way I look at it is that it's just a test to pass in your deep mind. The key to passing is just to face it and keep practicing (if this is the path you want). Dreams (and visions) are symbolic. Evil looking things don't always represent evil, they sometimes represent emotions you're not facing. Also, sometimes it's just suggestion and projection...like when everyone is saying, "Max is a reptile demon!" So who knows... At least personally, I know that I can "walk through the valley" of hell and be unaffected. Everyone should feel the same, when facing these things, unless they opt to give their power and purity away. This is true.

What was happening? Were they practicing something in particular? Spontaneous qigong can make people dizzy sometimes, which is a sure sign to stop practicing and belly breathe!

I agree with joeblast. Here is a very important caution from the Hatha Yoga Pradipika: If someone wants to practice alternate nostril breathing like fiveelementtao describes, they should breathe very gently when they do it, with total relaxation and no forcing whatsoever. Lots of yoga teachers can teach the method, but few know how to actually succeed at it. After your nervous system is totally calm, then it's okay to begin adding some breath retention. There is the mental feeling that you need to breathe, then there's the physical sensation. Go past the mental feeling, and listen to the physical sensation. Don't aim for huge times in seconds, that's too forceful...use your body's reactions as biofeedback. If it's too much for you at the time, tone it back. Baby steps. The 1:4:2 ratio may be too challenging to do comfortably. Start with like 2 seconds:6 seconds:4 seconds, and work up from that. When you start feeling a lack of oxygen, shaking, tensing up, getting headaches, etc...go back to an easier level for a while. Important: after the inhale, gulp at the throat.
