What didn't you like about his style of teaching?

I believe that these energies reveal what we need to be dealing with in our lives. If we don't face a certain aspect of ourselves, then that energy will manifest in our dreams and cause all sorts of symbolism to occur...the deep mind trying to unravel the lessons. But if you feel terror after a dream, then contemplate that feeling all day. It may show you what part you are hiding away. Or maybe I'm wrong.

I agree. In fact, I think he already is, since he was attempting to awaken us. It can be seen as a form of "karma yoga" (don't know if there's a Taoist term for this).

I don't know about distillers, but for filtration units, the one that interested me the most was Berkey. The travel version is $220. It's about 19 inches tall, stores 1.5 gallons, and filters over a gallon every hour. Doesn't require electricity or anything. I haven't voted yet... Is this both positive and negative? Because I have prayed or intended for a couple of people to get well from the healing section. As well as intended for things to calm down in discussion, at times. No rituals of any sort. Other than that, nothing from me. Is the purpose of the poll is to find out if people have been doing black magic type of stuff against others? I don't think someone would admit to doing that sort of thing...it's not like the type of people who do such things value honesty.

If people are feeling threatened by someone's swearing (even if it's not exactly directed at anyone), it's a problem worthy of moderation. If people dislike it when they read swear words, it's their own problem.

I agree, Creation. And if excessive swearing (which is not an insult) is against the rules, it should be clear to everyone. I can't find it stated anywhere. I just made some masala chai for everyone.

I don't know why Tao99 was swearing so much, but there isn't a no swearing policy here, is there?

It's just that I tend to be really skeptical about my experiences, even when I'm getting teachings in dreams, etc. I view it most of the time as my imagination going wild, although sometimes I've found that it's not...but that is rare. I will keep in mind what you've said, and perhaps later on I will understand more. _/\_

This may be deserving of another topic, but... How is it naive to choose not to deal with "entities"? Personally I consider whatever happens to be my own mind creation, and just ignore it. Isn't the goal supposed to be enlightenment, and not playing around with things? I don't see how it could be a problem if someone chooses to view it this way.

I just realized how funny it is that everyone capitalizes "I" for themselves.
