I agree with dakini. It is really questionable behavior to keep continuing this.

Fall 2009 - beginning of the end of American Empire

Haha, exactly. But the threads do make for sources of good info. Like the garden in a can. That's awesome! -
Yes, spinning clockwise, then counter. And later it changes into a fully gray yin yang, as the two sides blend with eachother. So cool!

Don't you know how much that has to do with astral bodies, mudras and energy gates?

Drew, I love reading your stuff. If you didn't dumpster dive, maybe you'd smell less. Why don't you eat like Chunyi Lin does?

That's awesome to see the patterns that emerge.

What do you think has caused this change?

I am starting Baguazhang classes on Thursday
Aetherous replied to innerspace_cadet's topic in General Discussion
http://www.ninedragonbaguazhang.com/sglmartk.htm Well, apparently it's Jiulong Baguazhang as taught by Sifu John Painter. Another member of the bums practices that style: Dale Dugas. I suppose it's good to have your options open. -
If you sweat, cold wind can enter the body and cause illness, but doesn't always...according to TCM.

I know.

That's not how I heard the story, at all, when I was there listening to it. Maeven, I wish you peace and happiness, too.

Well, I was kind of asking for proof. Or at least a story of what happened. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but it seems odd when an anonymous person joins this forum and starts making such strong claims right away... ... ...whoops, I just saw rodgerj's request that this thread would end. I agree with what he said.

Is this really true? I've heard nothing of it. On the kunlun forum, stuff about SSTT was actually advertised.

That's awesome you have a teacher for a year. Dedicate yourself to learning whatever he has to teach, instead of second guessing it. Suck it up if you're insulted or if the training is hard. Regardless of anything, that will make it worth it. -
Max has recommended it on the forum and many people do it. I haven't tried it...simply because they're so expensive for what they are (typically 200 bucks). However, if you have 500 bucks you are willing to get rid of, these look so pimp :

If you have a pet dog, you'll notice that they do this too. There are always things going on in our brains, despite not being aware of it. It's probably some deep kind of dream happening.

Very nice. Thank you for this, Durkhrod. -
What are the symptoms of too much heat from energy work?
Aetherous replied to Encephalon's topic in General Discussion
This is an unbalanced approach and will of course create all kinds of problems. -
No Kate, I wasn't talking about you. I was more referring to the ones who post things like:

I have no problem with Vajra. So, someone's a Buddhist...who cares! There are all types of people here. Instead, I have a problem with everyone else who feels the need to taunt him...or whatever it is they're doing...I guess you could also call it flirting. It just takes up a lot of space and doesn't do any good. The purpose of this topic is to suggest that there's too much Buddhist discussion on this forum. I'm going to disagree, and suggest instead that there's too much personal, pointless arguing going on. I ask all of those involved to please stop. Take it to PM.

We should call this the "back-and-forth-bums".
