I don't know Chinese...but yeah, good luck with your health and wellness exercises, Ken. -

I don't think those practices are real alchemy. For a good overview of real Taoist alchemy, the book Taoist Yoga by Charles Luk is nice. Peace. -
Prof. Yu Yong Nian's book - Zhan Zhuang & the Search of Wu - Anyone read it?

Nice...you seem very sensitive! The only thing that really calms it down is not practicing. Otherwise, eating heavy foods more often throughout the day...going for long brisk walks...laying down on the grass for like 20 minutes...these things can help a little bit. Bringing it to the navel, or to the lower dan tien, has a different effect of recirculating it, and doesn't actually store it so much. But it's very good to keep bringing it to there. Since your pineal is already pulsing, and you are tired, you might want to just not practice until you feel normal again. It could take a week or so. Tiredness is a sign that the body is overburdened by the energy, because it's not used to it.

Yeah the search tool here isn't perfect...needs at least 4 letters I think. Do a google search again for "kundalini awakening process". www.kunlunbliss.com explains kunlun.

No..."master" as in mastery of Taoist alchemy, which is immortality. Apparently he only teaches practices for health and wellness...which isn't alchemy. -

Sorry, I shouldn't write so strongly. Bowing out of the conversation... -

Ken, Well if he's not, then he isn't a Taoist "master", either...and I would then agree that he isn't a big deal. -

Eh, I shouldn't repeat things that I read on this forum...I don't know! -
Energetic Healing- What is it? How is it done?
Aetherous replied to NoIdea's topic in General Discussion
I have tried it twice, without enough instruction. The course was designed so that it was mostly self taught with some guidance. It was Chinese medical qigong type wai qi therapy. The first time it worked really well. The girl I worked on had relief of chronic depression and insomnia for about 24 hours. I also felt good afterward. The second time, the effect wasn't as good for her and I also seemed to pick up some of her negative emotions, and they held for the rest of the night. I have some theories as to why it happened... But my point is that it's hard to know for sure you're doing it right, without either being taught well and watched over, or being able to see what you're doing energetically. I don't care to experiment any further, because the first rule in medicine is "do no harm." -

Indra, Wang Liping is supposedly a Taoist immortal, and a master. He is not unknown, because people here know about him and discuss him. He was only unknown to you, until now. The big deal about so called masters is that they can help you immensely in your personal practice, because they've been through a LOT and just simply "know things." He is different from John Chang. Doing a search and actually being interested in the topic will help in understanding what's going on. -
What is the primary goal of your practice?

Other: I practice to see what's possible and true...mostly because it's who I've become and I know of no better way to live. -

It's not...you need to be in the right inner circle, and also in the higher rankings of the Scottish Rite. Not that I believe in this stuff... -

Yeah it's normal. In fact, I was in a very similar mood yesterday. Stop trying to quiet the emotions, because that causes problems. Don't kill someone, but it's okay to feel that way. -
It would be very cool to see.

Haha, wow, yes, awesome!

Yes this is one of my favorite cartoons from my childhood. Also Robin Hood, the Disney cartoon.

Dude, what are you talking about?! Your posts are some of the best!

I suggest you not gain weight. It's useless. You just have to use more energy to be able to do anything, and it slows you down. If you want weight gain for strength, just work solely on your strength. Who cares if you look bulky. If you really want to look bulky...rethink that.

Sorry man, I don't care to argue. In my personal experience, celibacy is more effective than sexual drawing up. Sources that I respect, like the book Taoist Yoga, and also Jesus' teachings from the Bible, support this. Your opinion and experience is that it's okay to gather aroused sexual energy, and you have your sources to support that, like Mantak Chia. It's not a big deal, we just have different opinions. We don't have to discuss it to death or come to a conclusion...it's okay to just leave it be. I apologize for my lack of ability to bicker and banter. The two opinions are out there for people to consider in their own practice. That's a good thing. Peace and respect.

The idea that aroused sexual energy is useful when drawn up to the crown.
