Most of the time people respond well. That being said most of the time I'm not touching people on the crown and soles of the feet. I also did it around the afternoon, which is the "no no time". So that might have had something to do with it. But yeah when I practice in nature all sorts of animals seem to come over...I don't think it's the kunlun energy necessarily...I was just saying, "no I am not a good healer yet".

Well... My body is integrating with "the source". So I guess that's a big benefit. You know, having parts of your body disappear (I haven't looked to see if I was really disappearing but it sure felt like it). This mostly happens with my head and upper body lately, when a practice is good. In the beginning, with red phoenix practice my mind would disappear. So yeah...that's the main thing. But if you're looking for better health and weight loss and all of that, maybe kunlun won't do that? I mean in the long term, yes...but you'd be better off going to a gym and eating better if you want those results now. I don't experiment with healing too much, like in terms of doing reiki, but I do think that kunlun would really help someone who does that. I've noticed personally, that touching people on the head or soles of the feet puts too much energy into them....experiences I've had: 1) Touching my friend's young son's head. He would get really hyper and do kriya stuff, then become really tired and withdrawn. That was at first. I visited them the other day and just talked to him a bit and the same thing happened. Super withdrawn and pouty the rest of the time. 2) I'm going to school for athletic training and we palpate bony prominences and stuff on eachother. I was touching my partner's feet and kept my palm on her sole for a bit...then she got really hot and felt sick. So I stopped. So yeah, I think putting energy into someone isn't so good. Real healing isn't just about pumping people with energy. You've got to be smart about it...and I'm not! So I don't do it. Anyway I've been around the block a bit in terms of practices (although not as much as others), and the various kunlun practices are great tools. Is it the elusive magic bullet practice? No...I don't think such a thing exists. But they are some of the best I've found. The only other thing that really can compare in terms of greatness is awareness watching awareness meditation.

My understanding of the Egyptian Ka and the Akh and Shade

Wow, now I am finally starting to understand the truth behind Egyptian mysticism! Thanks for making this article, Apepch7! -
Correct stillness meditation is all you need...but who can perform it correctly? If you're trying to take water out of of boat and you have two choices, suck it out with a pump, or scoop it out with buckets...why just do one? It will be quicker to do both at the same time. Attack from both sides.

Nate, that sounds great. I'm glad for you.

I'm pretty young but I experienced a period of time where I had really great health from certain practices. I'm talking miraculous health...the kind that would make an old man look young again. I think it changes. Sometimes you need a certain practice to put you into harmony, and then later as you change that practice will bring you out of harmony. Great health (looking 16 when you're very old) is elusive, but some things are known to help, like exercise and eating well. I liked this: But yeah, in my opinion it's about coming into harmony.

Chan or Zen wich is closer to Taoism, or am i just spiliting hairs?
Aetherous replied to mewtwo's topic in General Discussion
The practice of shikantaza in the Soto school of Zen could be considered parallel to Taoism, in my opinion. -

"true" Daoism, teacher or lineage - is it true?
Aetherous replied to daoseeker's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for posting this, Daoseeker. -
That was the basic idea I got from the little I read...sounds good, but it does seem that Taomeow was right. Way too many words to just make that simple point....boring!

I used to be involved in Rmax stuff a bit...and I found this to be true. Sonnon has some issues he needs to work out...but don't we all? His material is great. Take what you can from it, and then improve upon it yourself. It certainly isn't the pinnacle.

I got about 1/3 of the way done and...I don't have time for this! Could the main points be summarized (like copy and paste an important point) for those of us who have too much to do? Thanks.

I'm sure you will do fine here Son Goku...it's all good. These little bickerings happen between people, but I guarantee a while from now it will mean nothing to you.

The Max Christensen Facts Not Fiction Thread.
Aetherous replied to Patrick Brown's topic in General Discussion
Why are you rolling your eyes, Ape? Judging from my limited experience with the red phoenix practice, it seems Max was taught the real stuff!
