Hi Steve, Good night. - Anand

Hi Steve, It is interesting that you put - (a) strength, power & force (b) vitality, energy & spirit and (c) jing, chi & shen - together in one post. In Taoism the progression for (c) has been established thus - jing => chi => shen? When it comes to (b), are you suggesting this progression - vitality => energy => spirit? As for (a), you have associated it with (b) thus - From your association, can the progression in (b) be this - strength => power => force? Is your association prompted by this? When wenwu asks this question, is there an implied progression thus - strength => power => force? I agree with Lost in Translation thus ( when it comes to strength, power and force): From a momentary standpoint, I am of the opinion that jing, chi and shen overlap a lot and are not cleanly delineated. To cut to the chase, can I propose that - (1) I must build up my strengths (physical, sexual, mental, moral, ethical, spiritual...) to establish a personal power base so that I can be with the Force? (2) The Force is found in The Tao? Your response please. - Anand

Hi Creighton, Water => weak => strong + powerful + forceful. What else? - Anand

Hi Steve, I had not thought much about warriors before till today. As for warrior wizard - never crossed my mind. Will go through your thread before I respond. My response will be more visual than with words, if possible. Why? - Anand

Emergency situation, seeking advice (content may be triggering)

Hi Trytodobetter, These words from moment are pertinent - "In a while you must customize this advice to your individual needs" . You must frame your own context which must reflect "your individual needs". The importance of context relevant to you can be depicted thus - Without a defined context, you may experience information overload as such: Guess where you are coming from, you can be context specified going forward - on your own road less tracelled - LimA -

Hi thursday, I know the feeling of putting my hand over my abdomen - I will feel centred, anchored and safe. Tryingtodobetter - meditatively (with an open mind) feel the warmth generated. Perhaps you may like to do what thursday has suggested lying comfortably down. You may end up having a peaceful slumber. - LimA -
What is Kundalini and what entails an awakening
Limahong replied to dwai's topic in Hindu Discussion
Hi neti neti, You are the second person to introduce this term to me within two days - 'this or that'. On 10 March 2018, in a separate communication, dawei had shared with me this - "What I truly like about the 'daoist' path is that labels have no inherent existence or real meaning outside of our minds. Some traditions talk about getting rid of this or that... ignore this or that...". Now for me - (a) this collapses into that or (b) that collapses into this. So? Henceforth when it comes to reading the postings at TDB, I will be on the outlook for posts that collapse thus: this <=> that. I am also reminded of this from Benjamin Franklin - Henceforth I will respectfully do my TDB postings (as advised by Benjamin Franklin) in relation to 'this <=> that' - with myself as a budding 'daoist'. - LimA -

Hi neti neti, One destination? What is 'one'? If 'one' is 'The One', then is the 'one destination' THE TAO? - LimA -

Hi Trytodobetter, I am not the right person but I think you are on the right path in trying to do better. Why? There is clarity in your self-accountability. Perhaps you may like to take things a little easier. Why? Position yourself as 'the right person' to help yourself. My inkling - you surely can. Welcome to TDB. - LimA -
Hi Rickie, When it comes to yoga, this question is asked at the commencement of this thread - Where I am coming from is not focused on yoga per se but this from you - I am on the same page when it comes to the limitation of words and the personal rootedness of intuition on roads less travelled. Deemed thus - each road less travelled is mapped in relation 'to each his/her own' - I am impressed by your brevity - the soul of wit. And your apparent experiential perspectives, perceptions, paradigms... Thank you for you being you. - LimA
-
Hi Rickie, So is everything - yoga? No? - LimA
-
Hi Rickie, Yes - words have limitations and can fail us as obstacles. We circumvent words with - feelings, learning from the guts, intuition... - LimA

Hi Rickie, X = ? Yang = everything? Yin = nothing? Yes/no? - LimA
