HI firstandlast, I am beginning to see you in a different light. Obviously you are a man of few words. Are you the strong/silent type? So far you have spoken volumes and your silence is deafening. Apparently many people like silence. Why? The above version from Simon and Garfunkel has 144,758,685 viewers on Utube. It seems that you have walked through life - with each silent footstep follow by a golden footstep ... BUT ... So you like to know a little about the lunar seventh month? Just reply 'yes', if so. - LimA

Hi nohbody, This will be my last post on swimming back from the deep end - a better man. Earlier I was looking for something on struggles in life from Mencius for you. Just found it, thus this post. Here goes: MENCIUS’ THOUGHTS “Heaven, when it is about to place a great responsibility on a man, always first tests his resolution, wears out his sinews and bones with toil, exposes his body to starvation, subjects him to extreme poverty, frustrates his efforts so as to stimulate his mind, toughen his nature and make good his deficiencies. Men for the most part can mend their ways only after they made mistakes. Only when they are frustrated in mind and in their deliberations can they stand up anew. Only when their intentions become visible on their countenances and audible in their voices can they be understood by others. As a rule, a state without law-abiding families and trustworthy Gentlemen on the one hand, and, on the other, without the threat of external aggression, will perish. Only then do we realize that anxiety and distress lead to life and that ease and comfort end in death.” - Mencius, Book VI Kao-Tzu Part II, 15 Confucius Hall, Hong Kong When we have suffered well and accept suffering as a natural part of living, life is life. Life is not about unyeilding suffering anymore. Live well forward, brother. Our paths will cross again. - LimA

Hi firstandlast, Great you got it - 7th month as well? You from East or West - hard to tell. 7th month in the East may ring a bell. Tales of spirits, and practices as well. Won't be hard sell. Nothing - from hell. - LimA

Hi Kar3n, But of course. Thank you for the twisted smile. Will not bring up reincarnation again. - LimA

Hi firstandlast, Why are you so economical with words now? You may ask - who says so? Kar3n said so thus: I asked Kar3n if you are now reincarnated here now: She has yet to respond. So are you? At TDB must you died firstandlast prior to reincarnation? Please advise timely before another reincarnation ... Per the lunar calender, we are now into the seventh month. Do you know the significance of this month to some people? - LimA

Hi Kar3n, All along I have guessed that you are a fair lady - from your choice of words. Greetings - from a ultra sensitive guy (quite poles apart from Marblehead). Kudos to femininlty. ... after reincarnation? Reincarnate from ...? For me - only tacos with avocado dip. Tacos that talk, give me indigestion. Also I like only plain tacos. Flavoured tacos cause uprisings/unrests in my mouth. Good night. - LimA

Hi Dada, What WIT! You are first and last in your own department. Amazing. Not all alone. (S)he has shadow. So (s)he - first and last (as in endurance). Shadow - last (in position), if (s)he is facing the sun. You "already know" - "know" what? Hi Kar3n, You from the fairer sex? If so, lady's intiution? But Marblehead - "already know". He is ultra-male. "You cannot make everybody happy, you are not a taco" - Pinterest Kar3n - you asked ... Hi firstandlast, Why is taco pleased? Because ... Kar3n - what say you? - LimA

  15. Hi everyone

Hi Luke Dindial, Nice to see initiator of thread coming online. Each "one's progress" is a road less traveled. "You’ll learn, as you get older, that rules are made to be broken. Be bold enough to live life on your terms, and never, ever apologize for it. Go against the grain, refuse to conform, take the road less traveled instead of the well-beaten path. Laugh in the face of adversity, and leap before you look. Dance as though EVERYBODY is watching. March to the beat of your own drummer. And stubbornly refuse to fit in.” - Mandy Hale “Every journey taken always includes the path not taken, the detour through hell, the crossroads of indecision and the long way home.” - Shannon L. Alder If you can, please share. - LimA

Good morning Dada, Thank you. You are knowledgeable re remastering. Impressive. This remastering - OK? To me it sounds nice for something recorded 80 years ago. Peaceful recapture of good past. Thanks again for Remastering 101. - LimA

Hi Brian, Thank you for the recall. That's my intention - a trip down memory lane. Explicit enough: motel across the street => "ladies of the night" => "ladies > 7 Eleven" => "ready traffic". But of course. You fly by night to acquire? You fly by day for mergers? Coincidently, Marblehead's recall had a "German - Spanish" association too. How did you spend the weekend? You went to church? Did you meet a singing nun? Marblehead met THE Singing Nun ... Good night. - LimA

Thank you. (SH = ?) Hi Brian, You are naughty. So it was highly likely that you had visited the SH in Madrid. Had you? If so, please share with us your experience explicitly. Thank you. (SH = ?) SH = ....... Guys, Did you meet THE rose. Was she thorny? Please be explicit. - LimA

Hi Lost in Translation, Thank you. Now I know "where/who" is your context - with Mulan as exemplary amongst other great flowers in adversity. Some of these great flowers have to brave rainy nights too: (Please play the video till the end) But these flowers are not fallen petals on the ground the next morning. They still bloom from the ground: - LimA

Hi Lost in Translation, Breathing = living? Yes: then breath => just breathe => life goes on => ... => ... => ... => ... => ... => ... => ... => Emptiness? You have incorporated 'stopping/breathing' into the same moment? Yet another compassionate thought from you. Is it moving in this noble directional flow? Magnanimity => Altruism => ........................ => High-mindedness? "pass" = sunset => "free" = sunrise => "forward again" = a new day? - LimA

Hi Lost in Transation, With your choice of words in the above quote, anyone whom you are empathising with will be able to feel the compassion in you. I can quietly feel it right now the heaing you have in mind. Hi Wannabezenmaster, Does your mindfulness practice encompasses Lost in Translation's compassion as an element? - LimA
