  1. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

    Hi dawei, Maybe... (精) = > (靜)... wu-wei... = - Anand
  2. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi Bindi, My thinking ~ wu wei... doing nothing... -Anand
  3. Neiye - Introduction - Multi-authors

Hi Yueya, I have yet to read any of the Neiye main texts ~ I am still with your booklet ... the gist of the Neiye. Why? I am preventing an information overload on myself ~ unwittingly. Can I use your Neiye gist as a compass on a road less traveled... like a Feng Shui compass? When there is no one size that fits all ~ there is also no one Neiye path that is for all? - Anand
  4. Neiye - Introduction - Multi-authors

Hi Yueya, For me unfolding experiences top ~ they pertain to firsthand knowledge without aforethought. With humility in mind ~ I like to believe that I should write my own text with brevity in mind. Reading a good text after the fact gives me these moments re a tree of knowledge... And this good text will become a personal reference like The Good Book. Also having a soulmate to trustingly share a path on a road less traveled is to me a part of Destiny. - Anand
  5. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi Yueya, 精氣神 is ONE as linked to A C Graham's ~ “This may well be the earliest Chinese interpretation of the experience of mystical oneness.”? Are they a trinity ~ one cannot do/be without the other two? Jing Qi Shen ~ is ONE as in The Dao? From your Booklet ~ verse 4... The Dao is what infuses the body, Yet the people are unable to fix it in place. Can mystical oneness be my personal being, philosophy, sense (feel)... of ONE? A Blessed Vesak. - Anand
  6. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi OldDog, "I think we're splitting hairs here. We could say according but I was deliberately trying to make the distinction that as individuals we can act in accord with way things naturally tend to unfold or against the tendency." - Anand
  7. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi vonkrankenhaus, Is The Dao ~ sunrise <=> sunset as in... up <=> down... fortune <=> misfortune... Yin <=> Yang...? - Anand
  8. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi vonkrankenhaus, Isn't The Dao linked to Nature as for instance ~ sunrise <=> sunset...? - Anand
  9. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi OldDog, Actions operate within Dao ~ through inaction? Action <=> Inaction? As in wu-wei? 無爲... Action <=> Inaction. Inaction has no descriptive words attached to it, so... Inaction <=> No words? No words = 無-words. It would need to be understood that actions operate within Dao... without words...? I am also rethinking and restating... 無爲... Action <=> Inaction... No words... 無-words 無爲 <=> 無-words ? So am I ~ as you are. - Anand
  10. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi Taoist Texts, No ~ your 'yes' is too simplistic/irresponsible to a fault... against the order of Nature. The Tao flows without stagnation... May I add the 7th FLOW catalyst...? Creativity. Are there other FLOW catalyst(s)? - Anand
  11. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi Bindi, Whatever the perception/perspective, I like to believe that morality has a positive presence somewhere within Neiye. - Anand
  12. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi vonkrankenhaus, Then 無爲 is more likely to encourage... 無-words ...? - Anand
  13. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi Apech, When I try to cultivate something (e.g. X) or to have X realized, achieved, attained, substantiated... ~ sensing the difference "before and after" is important. "before and after" entails a temporal connotation and what is/has manifested is dependent on what X is. I have quoted your above argument in relation to the story line when X = qi. "stilling your heart and addressing emotions" is important to me when I was expecting qi as something not defined with words. Why? ... because I don't know what qi was... until one fine day... and I still sense it today. I am not going to define what qi is. Why? To each his/her own... without words. - Anand
  14. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi Taoist Texts, Does/can the heart regulate on its own ~ as a stand alone? I ask when I think of the fourth chakra as the heart chakra. There are three chakras 'below' it and three 'above' it. Also if the heart is linked to the middle datien, there is the lower datien and upper datien ~ 'below' and 'above' it respectively. So can the heart regulate by itself ~ if it is part of ONE? What is wrong with desires ~ from the perspective of Nature? Why do they need to be reduced? Also are desires linked to just the heart? How about the mind? - Anand
  15. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi Apech, I am for "both/and" and I am coming from the direction of a relationship ~ my Guru-ji and me. I recently had a face-off with Guru-ji when he visited Singapore ~ on major different philosophical stances. I refused to talk to him for a few days ~ but I still made for him his favorite vegetarian curry puffs. On the eve of his departure for home in India, Guru-ji invited me to his last local ceremony. When we met the immediate past was totally forgotten. My parting shot to Guru-ji ~ "I will be a good boy" and I gave him 30 frozen puffs to bring home. I love Guru-ji ~ but he loves me more... A relationship that is truly based on trust is worth more than its weight ~ beyond gold. - Anand
  16. Neiye - Introduction - Multi-authors

    But of course.
  17. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi OldDog, Be it governance or cultivation, it appears that a manual is suggested. If that is so, is it an instructional/operational manual (X) - e.g. from A =>... as in a process? Is X a manual for all practitioners, true seekers... even for one on a road less traveled? If not, what is the content(s) of the suggested manual? - Anand
  18. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi vonkrankenhaus, I would like to believe that my "Essence" ~ Jing, Qi , Shen, Faith, Morality, Health, Family, Friends... ~ is in order as ONE. If not, will I be a lame (if not dead) duck? - Anand
  19. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi dawei, Everything is ONE. - Anand
  20. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi Apech, Without knowing the best is yet to be ~ wu-wei-lessly? - Anand
  21. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi Apech, Profound. You listen with your heart...? - Anand
  22. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi OldDog, I believe you - a practitioner in the IT sector. - Anand
  23. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi OldDog, Where is the center of "it" in Information Technology (IT)? - Anand
  24. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi Yueya, This is how I feel when I read your booklet ~ clearly. - Anand
  25. Neiye - Section 1 - The Essential Qi

Hi Apech, When it arrives thus ~ perhaps I will be aligned and in line for wu-wei? And when I reach the end of the line ~ maybe I will be wu- words? - Anand
