Makes perfect sense to me. Can you go more in depth about meditation sickness? I think i understand it but this is the first time I ever heard that.

You should be meditating instead. We all should. That's the Tao. And coming from a deep meditative state, sometimes its hard for people to describe anything with words. Realizing infinity and nothingness makes a person quieter and sometimes more vague. I assume majority of people here are like that. First verse of the Tao de jing, "if it can be spoken it is not the true Tao" you must find the answers you seek on your own. But here you have support 🙌

Wow this post summed up a lot of my life. I too have been accused of being heartless but only when people are not around me and are thinking hard about my mysteriousness, but then when they see me, it changes back again to me being the "light" and they tell me they feel stupid for thinking i was evil. This has happened many times to me mostly with girls and with a couple friends. I never have bad intentions nor am i a "bad guy" but the power of infinite and zero is overwhelming for most, it must be god or the devil literally. When that awareness is displayed, other people see it as a powerful detachment or something similar thats not normal to them. Its actually scary to them ive realized, like how people look at Atheists. Except Daoist seem so graceful with nature. We either seem divine or non-existent. LOL those words seem to like each other And that pic was hilarious! soo true!

I believe you can become a jack of all trades gracefully but it takes extreme discipline, routine or a Master. Makes me think of the ancient Shaolin training methods. They say you can only attain mastery in a skill with dedicated focus upon it, after mastery you move on to the next skill. Most people train 1000 things at once and never reach mastery in any. But with guidance, especially from young, you can be forced to only train one thing until its time to move on to the next skill. True mastery is infinite though. After learning other things in other fields, it often impacts your previous skills when you go back to them, for better or worse. But i believe this changes with how you look at it. One can say i want to master shooting a basketball, another dribbling, and a third can say i want to master Basketball. Each person may view it as one trade. Grouping minor skills together into one (master shooting the ball, shooting stance, form etc.) it can always be broken down further or added to. infinite What if i am truly passionate about many different trades but instead I decide to view it as "ME" instead of dividing it? Then the only skill I have to train is doing "ME" if its hard then maybe its not you.. thats where a master can make sure you do the things you dont feel like doing. Daily meditation is key Thanks for this post

Thank you for this. could you or anyone elaborate on this now? im sure your practice has evolved. How does MCO and tension/relaxation intertwine?

I agree This is the best way to study.. look at multiple translations as well. Then Meditate

Wealth = Energy more energy more wealth wealth is whatever you label it as I think it is either very easy or very hard for a daoist to earn money, cause we either don't care enough or we find it simple to achieve what we desire.

Can answers be computed instead of using a search engine?
