Science Confirms an Age-Old Remedy for Gray Hair and Baldness
voidisyinyang replied to SonOfTheGods's topic in The Rabbit Hole
so thymol is the active ingredient in lysterine.... terpenoid odor - it might counteract the onion sulfur-based odor -they're both antibacterial but in different ways.... hmm. .. so that claim that cayenne would get rid of onion smell - turns out the main odor in cayenne in terpenoid.... but also has a secret onion smell to it.... http://thehotpepper.com/topic/35545-onion-bhut-organosulfur-compounds-in-capsicum/ -

Yeah I am - well eccentric - what did Jim say - well I guess if you want to guard yourself against intimacy! haha. That was classic. I go - exactly! haha. Since I'm a hermit. But I think the smell can be covered up with probably cinnamon - and.... oh yeah I got horsemint in the meadow - terpenes -- ... hold on... -
Science Confirms an Age-Old Remedy for Gray Hair and Baldness

Yeah I lost weight since then - so my cheeks aren't as plump. haha. Jim told me to go on a diet - that was easy since I was eating all the bacon fat and tons of eggs, etc. haha. Then last time I saw him on Friday he goes - you lost weight! Yep. So you can see some "white" hair - I thought it was blonde and it was blonde last summer..... So at first I was in denial.... but yeah I figure - if science says why hair turns grey - that's an amazing discovery! -
Science Confirms an Age-Old Remedy for Gray Hair and Baldness
voidisyinyang replied to SonOfTheGods's topic in The Rabbit Hole
yeah I posted a close up on my blog. See the thing is that it's just my beard but like David said - I got about 3 times more brown hair than gray. But the thing is that what was gray was actually blonde hair last summer!! So I know for a fact that it got bleached gray - this hydrogen peroxide thing is real!! Because I am outside in the sun a lot more than I used to be..... but I figured - o.k. people shave their beards more and so then the melanin runs out faster since it has to regrow more often.... so then that is part of it also I'm sure. But yeah melanin is a pigment - you can eat pigments also -- catalase is an enzyme.... is it a pigment? My photo I posted in my blog... -
another myth was just made. haha.

Does breathing play a significant role in your practice....?
voidisyinyang replied to ChiDragon's topic in Daoist Discussion
sorry - I was just wondering if he was secretly a Taoist priest. Oh yeah so what's it like to do "shen breathing" - is this the immortal breathing level - chi energy up and shen down with next to no physical breathing? So you sit in full lotus for 4 hours nonstop every night? or..... maybe Chef Boyardee does that. -

I went to my bank across the street from my workplace. I wondered why my Visa transaction on my debit card was posted on my account as a withdrawl and then it was removed again. Then weeks later the same transaction was posted again right when my account was low so that it trigger a ton of overdrafts. I kept asking the banker why that withdrawl would get disappeared from my account. He couldn't answer me so then he said he was going to call the cops. haha. I didn't even respond to that and just left - shocked and disappointed. Damn - US Bank workers get BONUSES based on how many fees they get added to customers! http://www.topclassactions.com/lawsuit-settlements/lawsuit-news/2066-us-bank-reaches-55m-overdraft-fee-class-action-settlement# That's exactly what happened to me. BUSTED. http://www.topclassactions.com/lawsuit-settlements/lawsuit-news/4613-u-s-bank-overdraft-class-action-settlement-preliminarily-approved# Dang that's July 29 - so I could be getting some $$ from this. Hah - and the dude was going to call the cops on me - for their illegal fraud! HILARIOUS. The banks are scum. http://consumerist.com/2011/11/16/judge-rips-into-us-bank-for-taking-bailout-money-but-denying-mortgage-modifications/ $20 billion - U.S. Bank got in taxpayer money. Crazy. Socialism welfare for the banking elite - free money!! so $55 million as the overdraft fee class action suit settlement - compared to $20 billion!!?!! Wow.

New Podcast Q & A with Spring Forest Qigong Master Jim Nance
voidisyinyang replied to voidisyinyang's topic in General Discussion
o.k. finally got some noise removal on this new Qi-talk. Wow it sounds way better. Spring Forest Qigong Master Jim Nance called me today - looking for the link on my blog - as he was showing a friend -- organizing some new qigong stuff together... Anyway so I felt bad when I listened to it again - dang - gotta get rid of that sound. I've been messing with it - finally got a noise removal sample that worked.... uploading it now.... -
basically po is the lunar energy - hun is the solar.... etheric body is po -- electrochemical qi - yin qi and yang jing energy.... hun - coherent photons - quantum coherent - bends spacetime -- higher dimensional perceptions -higher frequency - precognition, telepathy, etc. long distance healing.

Science Confirms an Age-Old Remedy for Gray Hair and Baldness
voidisyinyang replied to SonOfTheGods's topic in The Rabbit Hole
so the onion juice soaked into my hair and the onion smell was very strong - also soaked into my skull apparently - onion breath even... So.... then I looked into this online - sure enough a lot of people wondering how to get rid of the onion smell! ummm... different suggestions - someone said chilis or cayenne. I looked that up and someone else said they tried it but it didn't work... yeah someone else said the chemicals in onions are same as used when someone gets a perm so .... try to find out how to get rid of perm smell.... But.... anyway.... someone was using some kind of hair spray scent - not for me. Personally I don't mind the smell - but maybe I'll do this once a week as it takes close to a week for the smell to clear out totally.... so I figure it's probably still working if the smell is still there. Yeah I trimmed my beard - so will be interesting to see how it grows back in.... -
started watching Donnie Yen's Dragon Tiger Gate last night also - I had seen it before. So I read a review of it - how the CGI, etc. was bad for Donnie Yen - compared to his 2011 movie Dragon. So I watched Donnie Yen's Dragon instead. It's a bit slow - more of a drama -- got tons of awards since it's kind of "arty" - but when the action hits it is pretty awesome. It's a good story also -- some good twists - cool qigong stuff in it.

Everytime you go to sleep in deep dreamless sleep then you don't know that you exist - nor the universe exists. So consciousness remains since we wake up and say - wow I had a good sleep. We still existed in our deep dreamless sleep even though our mind was not aware of it. Consciousness is not the mind. Consciousness creates spacetime and energy-mass. So consciousness is always aware of itself but energy-mass and space-time are always transforming into different levels of awareness. So the Emptiness is not the mind's awareness but it is the direct experience of impersonal consciousness - infinite mind. The Emptiness is the space between our thoughts - or the deep dreamless sleep. Our awareness of the Emptiness is the light consciousness - like a dream state. We have different levels of our mind's awareness - just as we do so much instinctively or subconsciously without being aware of it. If we can have consciousness during our dreams then we can have even more awareness of the Emptiness - just like the very first breath on waking up - it is that first thought before actually waking up - we have conscious awareness of our dream state just at that moment. So then as there is deepening of conscious awareness of the Emptiness then we realize the Emptiness is less and less Empty and instead more and more filled with light energy that is aware of itself. To do this we have to shut off the waking left-brain language awareness with writing - and silence that mind - and then go deeper into silence that creates the dream visualization state of awareness through mind concentration at a high frequency of energy. So the Emptiness is the zero point energy in quantum physics - only we can go there directly with our minds and then it's the fundamental level of the universe that is non-local and holographic - everything is interwoven. Spring Forest Qigong Master Jim Nance calls it the fabric of life - saying that what we think of as three dimensional reality is actually one dimensional and the appearance of the three dimensions of space exist within that one dimension - this is how a holograph works. And so all the information is contained within the Emptiness like a black hole of a higher dimension that is smaller since it's higher frequency of energy. That is why the Emptiness is called a golden light of awareness that transforms all of energy-mass and space-time. We get to it deep through the heart.

Just one hour? I used to have sex all day long for five years! haha. Only no physical contact -- in full lotus. Burned out my jing energy but .... still ... experienced a lot of real love, kept my mind focused, cleared out emotional blockages, etc.

yeah I can't wait to get out of the city whenever I go there - driving through the urban jungle. Get back to the garden, humanure composting, deer, shrooms, wild turkeys, wood for heating the house, tropical songbirds, butterflies, fireflies, wild berries, primal screams are the best. You gotta have a primal scream every day -- in the wild -- poison ivy, stinging nettles, stepping on sticks, walking bare foot, etc. Bees, or garden pests - grasshoppers, various other squishy bugs....

What is the best way to think about sex.
voidisyinyang replied to skydog's topic in General Discussion
Naw - Chunyi doesn't teach celibacy - I figured that out from the book "Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality" - if you want advanced level qigong then you can't think about sex. Chunyi said that once at a guild talk in 2000 but he has not repeated it as far as I know - because it was be too limiting to Westerners. But in the latest Spring Forest Qigong Master Jim Nance talk I uploaded - Jim does say that Chunyi told him not to think about sex. hahah. So yeah for advanced levels Chunyi does say this - but that's only b/c Jim was training to be a qigong master. But yeah obviously you need a vegetarian diet and then avoid females and then work your way into full lotus and then fasting when you build up your energy. -
Questions on The Tao and Compassion
voidisyinyang replied to BlueMonk91's topic in General Discussion
I remember a whole thread devoted to that "straw dogs" term -- lots of interpretations.... But "the need to see others fail" - this is because a lot of people define reality in a win-lose scenario - it's drilled into people through sports and preps them for war mind control society. So if a person doesn't win that means they lose but to win the person has to make sure the other people loses! So instead of focusing on winning a lot of people just focusing on making sure the other person loses - then they win automatically. Much easier to lower the standards then to increase your own standards. ummm.... So..... Of course reality is a win-win situation do to infinite consciousness but modern mentality is based on materialist reality defined by irrational magnitude in mathematics, etc. consumer culture, etc. -
Questions on The Tao and Compassion
voidisyinyang replied to BlueMonk91's topic in General Discussion
yeah usually an outhouse is a latrine -- a pit in the ground - no good. Sweden ecology institute is promoting Ecosan - "ecological sanitation" which is exactly that throw back to composting. You need a 30 to 1 Carbon to Nitrogen ratio. There's carbon pretty much in everything - manure, etc. - so just cover up with carbon until the smell goes away.... Shredded leaves. I used biochar the first time - charcoal I made from wood - it words great since there are nanopores which house the aerobic bacteria and also the black color soaks up the heat.... faster composting and also faster growth rates for plants.... ummm but too much work for me - I didn't make a real biochar unit without pollution.... So.... it's highly ironic this is promoted in "developing countries" that were destroyed by Western colonialism but Western societies still put their manure in potable water - crazy!! Such a loss of good compost. anyway.... yeah wood ash - people freak like it's too much potassium -- but whatever. I use wood ash and it's got all these micronutrients that are lacking in oil-based fertilizers..... -

Questions on The Tao and Compassion
voidisyinyang replied to BlueMonk91's topic in General Discussion
I just go in a bucket using shredded leaves. Outhouses pollute the water supply. Composting is the same principle for qigong - Mantak Chia calls it composting the emotional energy.... So yeah last year I grew $1000 worth of food for $20 of seed cost. Organic tomatoes - five a day - for a few months plus lots of other greens.....potatoes, etc. yeah doing the same this year but got a new pumpkin patch - will post photos soon. -
