Still the martial arts movies has people training doing "normal" exercises that then translate into martial arts moves. But not quite as subtle as building up qi energy. Chunyi Lin had to do two hours non-stop of the pole or horse stance at the Shaolin Monastery -- two hours non-stop every day for three months - no moving. Thighs flat. You can see that in the Shaolin documentary on youtube - but he says moving of yin and yang is the standard foundation for the active external exercises -- so he has people do it for an hour non-stop sometimes.

Well today's two hour full lotus session was interesting because I had some stomach pain and I thought maybe I got it from my niece since she needed my help this morning. O.K. so then I thought how I might have sucked in her sickness. I hoped she was o.k. now. I remembered how I had sucked in people's sickness before -- like when this one dude said he had scabies and my qi energy was really strong and then he said he was fine now and then I had something - not scabies but mites. So maybe he actually had mites. Anyway so then I just kept sitting in full lotus and the stomach pain went away and I forgot about it and my energy kept building up. Then I heard my sister come home and so my niece had her mom again. But then they said they were going into the city -- so I thought that's great that my niece most feel good and maybe I had sucked in her sickness so now she is fine now. She never said she was sick to me but I didn't know why else I would have felt the stomach pain. So then right before I finished the two hours my niece and my sister return and I hear my niece crying. Now normally I would have then just "flexed my pineal gland" and shot energy into my niece through the ceiling and that would have healed my niece to stop her crying. By this time I had forgotten about my stomach pain and the possibility that I had sucked sickness out of my niece. So I thought that maybe she had gotten in a fight with her mom and she was just cranky. Normally she would not be cranky but again since I stopped doing my pineal gland transmissions then the females got cranky easily. But they've been o.k. overall as they learn to sublimate their energy more. O.K. so then I finished my meditation of two hours in full lotus and I went to take a shower and then when I got out my sister said that my niece has the stomach flu and that she threw up. But when my sister told me I just said: Uh, Huh, because I already knew that she had the stomach flu! I knew it because I had the stomach flu symptoms but then they had gone away during my meditation!! But the strange this is when I was with my niece she never said she had the stomach flu nor did she say she wasn't feeling well etc. So the only way I knew it was when right after being with her I started feeling stomach pain and then it went away during the full lotus meditation. So then my sister warned me about eating any left over food from my niece because they all know that I don't like to waste food. haha. On the other hand it's a strange concept to think that I can just suck in someone else's sickness and transform it and heal it. I mean I wouldn't dare say that to my sister nor my mom because they wouldn't believe me. haha. The other issue is that obviously you wouldn't want to suck in someone's sickness if it is more serious like cancer, etc. But then the chi energy is to create a field of protection around you. It's just since my niece was home without my sister then I had to babysit her before I could do my morning two hour full lotus session so my chi energy field wasn't as strong yet. This dynamic will continue then -- taking in her sickness and transforming it and creating chi to protect myself - all in contrast to me just intentionally transmitting chi into my niece to heal her. As Chunyi Lin said I should instead focus on building up my chi energy and storing it in the lower tan tien. Still the energy flows out of me -- dissipates -- when people need it and also the sickness of others gets sucked into me. So then just keep sitting in full lotus. haha.

Actually when I did my intensive training I did it for my masters degree credit! So I was working only one or two days a week with minimal interaction with people and then I could focus on studying meditation texts. I was able to afford a special diet from a nearby cooperative and vegetarian organic restaurant. I didn't need to exercise much so I was able to store up my energy. I was able to take regular classes from a real qigong master who does the shakti shen laser transmission -- Chunyi Lin. He did the seven week cave meditation of no food, no water and no sleep -- which is mentioned in the article on http://qigongmaster.com Chunyi Lin gives the name Master Zhang and also the same mountain. So I'm assuming he did his seven week cave meditation there. chunyi Lin said that the master would check up on them in their cave -- the master would use his third eye to check on them to make sure they weren't sleeping!! Anyway it was later hinted to me strongly to get a different job and to not post online, etc. in order to continue my intensive qigong training. I also looked everywhere I could online for a monastery or other master in another country where I could do full time meditation. To be honest most monasteries are not geared toward serious meditation but rather geared towards rituals. A lot of buddhist monasteries now are "controlled" by the citizens who are not meditation experts so the focus is on their donation money going to the monks to do service work, job training, charity, and reciting religious texts, etc. It's very difficult to find a real energy master these days. Then they usually only train one or two people to also be energy masters. So then, of course, you have to qualify to be a real student. haha. The other thing is that if your energy does get very strong then it has to be controlled because the spiritual and the mundane do not mix well -- so people will freak out about your energy since they don't understand, etc. So actually it's the real master who can go back into society and be able to skillfully not freak people out, etc. haha. Master Wang, Liping is another great example. I think Shaolin Monastery does sometimes take Westerners although I'm not sure. I now there's been some people posting here who live in China and have trained with Taoist monks, etc. But again to find a real energy master is rare, even in China. Chunyi Lin says he trained with Master Yao at Shaolin and Master Yao also lite paper on fire -- with his eyes -- and healed Chunyi Lin's wife of cancer and then demonstrated changing colors on the inside of bananas, etc. haha. But I have never seen any mention of Master Yao other than from Chunyi lin. So I think some of the real energy masters stay out of the public's eye. Still if you get your energy strong enough then you can sit in full lotus for four hours non-stop at night and then you'll need less sleep. That's how Wang, Liping and also Chunyi Lin do their training while in society. I did the week long bigu fast - just taking a half glass of water - that's how I ended my intensive training and then I took the Level 3 retreat from Chunyi Lin at the end of my bigu fast. I had really strong electromagnetic fields and say shen ghosts and then had an Emptiness or nirvikalpa spacetime vortex experience. I also healed my mom of a serious leg condition and then I accidentally pulled this old lady's spirit out of the top of her head without touching her. She bawled non-stop for at least 15 minutes. Still she understand that I had good intentions -- I just made a mistake since I pulled the energy blockage out of the top center of her head. haha. I looked into Nepal and it seems there's restrictions there -- it's mainly just "retreats" that are for beginner meditation sessions. The monasteries are not open to Westerners it seems unless you know the language, etc. Similarly you can't live in India -- unless you travel there and then return later and apply for a longer visa, etc. Then you have to renew visas every year. I looked into moving to Burma as a monk -- but they use slave labor for real and all the monks who protest are in jail. So then the monasteries have to cooperate with the military regime. Then the monastery I was going through did not practice real strong meditation and the monk I was living with was a perv! So that's another issue - I've read about Westerners going to Thailand and being chased by perv monks! Also in Thailand the employed join the monasteries and so there are gangs in the monasteries of fake monks -- harrassing the real monks.

Chunyi Lin trained since 1980 but he came to the U.S. in 1993 or so. He returned back to China for maybe a year or two. Not sure if he trained during then - probably. Basically according to "Taoist Yoga" you progress to the week long bigu fast to "lay the foundation" -- I did that training but didn't quite finish it. Because even at that stage you want personal supervision. The energy builds up really fast if you are training right and accelerates in intensity. So then the next level is the seven week long fast -- no water, no food, no sleep. Chunyi Lin did that. He mentions this master and mountain where also there is the seven week fast cave meditation -- http://qigongmaster.com That Master Zhang even comes to the U.S. to teach also. It only took me six months to build up to the week long fast to open the third eye. Chunyi Lin said I had an enlightenment experience. I didn't keep training though intensively - the energy was too powerful and people around me were freaking out, etc. So the main thing is to find a teacher who has the skill to guide you in the energy and it's really rare to find a very high level teacher. If you can find one then you have to be accepted as a student and most teachers just personally supervise one or two other people to become qigong masters.

Oh well -- I just stay in full lotus and then the energy will correct itself and the blockages will get transformed and the energy will recharge, etc. The other thing though is that most people don't seem to be able to read this energy -- so there was a perv lurking on taobums and that's why I left before. I never said who it was directly but I gave such strong hints that it was obvious who I was talking about. But then just talking about such things then amplifies and attracts them. So that's the other issue about energy -- sometimes silence is better. For example if someone says something to me and it's obviously not true -- it's an excuse for something else, an attempt at a cover-up -- I just make a low "uh huh" response. haha. Like it's filled with sarcasm but also humor -- like I am laughing back at the absurdity. I mean people will say words but the intention will be the opposite. I have mentioned how this happened to me online -- a female with strong jing energy emailed me with nice words but the anger energy was so strong that I fasted for three days in full lotus to transform the email energy. haha. Then I had this amazingly strong internal climax that was her strong email anger energy that was really repressed sex energy now turned into love energy. All that covered-up in a nice brief email. So then it's also strange to go past the lower emotions -- I mean when the heart chakra really opens up then there is strong love after the repeated internal climaxes -- strong mutual love -- but there is also strong heart break from physical separation. The heart electromagnetic chi energy is a physical attraction like a magnet. So this lower emotional "over excitement" of heart love and heart break also has to be transcended to build up the chi energy even stronger to open up the third eye. This is best described by the femme fatale phenomenon. I'm sure a lot of guys have met some female they really fell for and then their heart was broken. Actually I had a girlfriend like this -- my last girlfriend and then after pondering this I call it the "alpha female" response. So it's not exactly limited to energy online but it does exist. How the sadness of the lungs slows down to increase the heart over-excitement and this increases the chi energy. Michael Winn says he was concerned Mantak Chia was teaching astral travel before fusion of the five elements was mastered. Taoist Yoga says if astral travel is done too early the shen spirit light energy is not strong enough so there is dizziness created by a space time vortex -- this indicates the kidney energy is still too weak since ringing in the ears is also kidney energy. I had this happen to me when I was doing my intensive qi training. More specifically the philosophy of nondualism is from the Brahmin caste which relies on mind yoga due to its protection by the Warrior Caste. So the Brahmin priests are supposed to do a three day ritual purification if they even see a female. Similarly the Brahmins rely on separation from the masses to practice their nondualist mind yoga. Mind yoga is the most difficult path but it also relies the greatest hierarchical structure for it to be successful. That's precisely why nondualism is so attractive to the white males of the U.S. haha. Nondualism also relies on patriarchy and the logic of nondualism is symmetric - -without a true understanding of complementary opposites. This is why Master Nan, Huai-chin and Bill Bodri state in their book Measuring Meditation that Ramana Maharshi did not achieve complete enlightenment -- because the body channels must also be emptied out into consciousness as well. Traditionally nondualism can not be practiced until nirvikalpa samadhi is achieved and this means, energetically, that a person should be able to sit in full lotus for two hours in ease, with the body filled with electromagnetic fields. The person should also be able to go without food and water, converting jing into chi. In which case all this need to pontificate would be silly. haha.
