Hardcore Full Lotus training in Japan
voidisyinyang replied to voidisyinyang's topic in General Discussion
yeah that is my practice -- full lotus as much as possible -- plus walking-working meditation! haha. Chunyi Lin says 20 minutes of full lotus is worth 4 hours of any other meditation. Also Chunyi Lin says if you want to see if someone is a real master just see how long they can sit in full lotus. Full lotus cuts through all the b.s. -- you just sit and the energy flows on its own. The pain and pleasure deal actually are opposites and increase in strength the deeper your practice. So Chunyi Lin was asked recently how he deals with taking in other peoples' suffering all the time -- he said he just goes deeper into his heart to overcome their suffering. The thing with full lotus is you have to be on the special modified bigu diet. So I had to quit my job because I couldn't maintain the proper diet.... essentially it's fasting one day a week and then a little veggie meal once a day. So that means full-time meditation. That's the stage I'm in now only I'm not in a monastery and my parents are big meat-booze people, as is the rest of my family, etc. In Minnesota that's the norm as it's so cold here people like the meat for heat. It's all messed up -- but emotions are the first type of blockage and then nutrition -- the two are intertwined. So the pain-pleasure thing is also tied into the type of food impurities -- the modern diet is rife with food impurities. I use full lotus to over-ride these blockages but I off-gas a lot of toxins -- leached out of my brain -- aka "wearing underwear on my head." haha. Full lotus is the real deal -- and you know this because of the constant purging and purification required to maintain it. Actually the third eye requires this pain/pleasure dynamic even without full lotus -- after the third eye is opened up. But the full lotus is the most efficient means to recharge the body-mind -- to exorcise the body-mind of demons. To restore our natural state of euphoria -- lost to civilization. -
Advaita and Buddhism are the Same After All

http://www.buddhanet.net/pdf_file/miao_yun.pdf One of Greg Goode's lineages. http://www.heartofnow.com/files/dialogs.html Shut your eyes. Take a deep breath .... now let it out. Now try to just listen .... air-conditioning-sounds .... car sounds .... building creaking-sounds. There is no car, no building appearing as such. In fact, the sound is your only evidence of anything like an "air-conditioner" or a "car." In this moment, outside the sound, you don't have access to an air-conditioner or car. But where is the sound itself located? The sound is not on the outside or inside. It's not on the left, right, north or south. There is no dividing line between the sound and you. Of course there might be a storyline that follows the sound, a storyline that says that the car is physically located "outside." But notice that this "outside" is not evident in the sound itself. http://www.heartofnow.com/files/atmananda.html This is his "root" guru.... Self-enquiry led by Greg Goode. Bring it on man. -

So when the two masters of Wang, Liping tie him up in the beginning of "Opening the Dragon Gate" -- so Wang Liping sits in full lotus for 4 hours nonstop? Sadistic? Brutal? Chunyi Lin made this comment about the full lotus: "There's good pain and there's bad pain." He was implying the full lotus is good pain. Maybe all the other hitting, etc. is wrong. Yeah I agree -- if you consider the Bushmen culture where this healing meditation tradition really comes from they don't have all the brutality -- except fasting for a month on just a bit of water while trance dancing continuously -- to learn to conquer thirst, sleep, hunger, pain. No -- unfortunately -- it seems the training to be an energy meditation master does require a brutal physical confrontation to transcend death itself. -

Very cool. I read David Loy's book on nonduality back in 1999 and thought it was brilliant. http://www.amazon.com/Nonduality-Comparative-Philosophy-David-Loy/dp/1573923591 -

2nd day? Where in california? Some of us don't live in sunny warm climates.... And so sprouts are awesome? If so why have no one provided links on the easy way to grow sprouts. I see tons of explanations of how great sprouts are -- how easy to grow. Yet no practical description of how to do it. Sure I've grown sprouts but it was ad hoc and not too successful. So we have to order special sprout bean seeds? How much energy in the shipping cost will be spent? More than the energy of the sprout seeds? SHIRLEY we're not getting much calories from sprouts. Sure if you live in a warm to hot climate and sit in full lotus all day then you can live off sprouts! Otherwise this seems to be a commodity fetish. I've yet to see simple explanations on how to grow sprouts. How much are the seeds? Etc.

http://www.mycorrhiza.com -- so there's all these fancy photos of plants growing twice as large and also this data and research about WHY you need it. WHEN you need it. HOW you need it. WHO needs it. WHAT you need. But guess what -- there's NO PRICE listed -- there's NO ORDER FORM. And all that information is overwhelming with this fancy tables of a dozen different products all cross-correlated, yadda yadda. Just get me some -- on and on about how great it is -- but NO WAY TO GET THE STUFF. In the end it says -- if you want to get this stuff then write us or call us -- but no prices even listed. It says it only costs a few pennies per plant -- o.k. then how much is a quantity of the product? hello? That's crazy. Reminds me of those fancy posters you'd see for events. Bands playing -- all the information -- fancy graphics -- except NO LOCATION!! haha. Ooops! O.K. so then I click one on of the distributors since that's how you can find out prices -- FINALLY. So then the distributor has prices? NOPE Our Mycorrhizal Products come in 5 basic types. Tablets, Soluble, Granuals, Gel and Turf Formula. Each type of product has its own benefits and uses. To find out how best to use one of these products. Please visit the Uses and Rates page I click on the Uses and Rates page -- and whammo -- NOTHING -- an ERROR comes up. Ooops! You found a bug! That link seems to no longer be available.

I've researched the whole quandary of whether the blood can be alkaline or not -- mainstream science says no because the stomach acid will just increase to counteract any increase of alkaline intake. But amazingly I've posted online a study of cow blood which says it did become more alkaline - based on use of MAGNETS -- actually it was more acidic I think. Still the point being that there is a difference between stomach pH and blood pH.... if you read "Secrets of Spirulina" by Dr. Christopher Hill he details this difference. It's because of how the mitrochrondia process glucose instead of the stomach relying on oxidization for digestion (the free radicals needed).... Yeah it's a bit complicated -- not sure where I buried my research on this. So something like lemons are acidic in the stomach but after digestion create potassium citrate which then makes the blood alkaline -- in fact even vinegar does this as well -- only with acetic acid turning into acetylcholine (alkaline).... I'm not a scientist -- I just pretend to be one on the internet.

The Amazing Liver and GallBladder Flush
voidisyinyang replied to Trunk's topic in General Discussion
Yeah great thread -- first we get the liver cleanse with photos. Then we get the debunking of the oil olive (green from the bile).... Well green is the traditional liver turned to wisdom energy -- as then we got the magnesium citrate cleaning someone's liver. YEP magnesium is a PHOTORECEPTOR in chlorophyll -- GREEN -- and thereby creates electromagnetic energy via the photoelectric effect. Just take lots of spirulina and notice how your dreams are in color or how your liver gets clean! The third eye senses the liver -- when I intake heavy cholesterol (alcohol, cheese, beef, etc.) then when I do the full lotus qigong my liver gets hot as it's cleared out. So the full lotus third eye TELLS ME the liver the clogged and then clears it out -- thereby also clearing out the ANGER -- (as a clogged liver causes anger).... Anyway thanks for some more details on this issue -- but after the liver turns green (wisdom) then the heart opens up which is the electromagnetic energy of the chi being created -- so magnesium as a photoreceptor is a gateway molecule to chi creation. Spirulina --- I call it the "cholorphyll buzz" from when I worked on a community-supported agriculture farm BEFORE I practiced qigong. We had these big heaping salad mix greens everyday -- and amazingly my anger was projected outside me as an electrochemical jing field. I was shocked when this happened -- and also shocked by the amazing buzz from eating so much greens. -

Nice to see some heated debate on taobums! Thanks for that Paris Review interview. It's part of a chapter of a book on India which I blogged about here: http://naturalresonancerevolution.blogspot.com/2010/04/happy-earthday-or-emptiness-day.html As for "communism" -- the new documentary "Soviet Story" settles the matter as far as the atrocities committed -- it was worse than Hitler if such a comparison can be made. http://www.jurnaltv.ro/video/The_Soviet_Story_Povestea_sovietelor_incredibil BOTH Hitler and Stalin were funded by the capitalist investors as Sutton documented. The CIA was in Tibet BEFORE the Chinese invaded, just as the CIA was in Afghanistan before the Soviets invaded in the 1970s.... -

Sometimes I feel the urge to sneeze but I don't want to sneeze because I realize my urge to sneeze is from being too cold or some other negative influence. So I "flex" my pineal gland which connects to the cerebellum -- the instinct to sneeze is from the cerebellum! And so I stop the sneeze. At the same time I stop the sneeze I am also charging up my body energy -- turning the light backwards as per the Golden Flower. This is also one approach to emotional vampires. Another one is to sit in full lotus and SUCK UP their emotional negative energy -- all that negativeness? It's EXTRA energy!! And more for you! Only the full lotus vortex transforms that electrochemical energy from the lower organs into heart-love and then out the pineal gland as electromagnetic transmission back to its source -- the original negative emotions. Only now it's fun energy! And so after a while the negative emotion person realizes there's no point in their little game. haha. They give into the love and become a love radiator themselves!!

Hey please tell us the "moves"! haha. I'm curious as that was developed a few years after my last class I took -- back in 2005. My only "real" connection with Chunyi Lin is the internet -- and wow -- check out the little girl Chunyi Lin! haha. http://www.facebook.com/SpringForestQigong

Awesome! Dr. Effie Chow was just in Minneapolis for the Spring Forest Annual World Conference. I haven't been to a SFQ event since 2005 though! haha. Here's the schedule for the SF event: http://www.eastwestqi.com/html/12wcq_program_schedule_detailed.pdf Ah here's the updated news report: http://www.examiner.com/x-16087-St-Louis-Tai-Chi-Examiner~y2010m4d11-Hot-Off-the-Press-update-of-World-Congress-on-Qigong--TCM That Indian healer will be there as well -- should be very cool.
