  1. It's like this -- Chunyi Lin was part of a double-blind study for healing. So he was supposed to do a control -- and he was given people who needed his healing -- only he was supposed to pretend to heal them and not really give out energy. He could not do this very easily -- because when you are with a person physically then you read their energy which means you FEEL their energy and then to heal yourself of others' pain you then have to harmonize it within yourself and then emit it out of yourself -- and that's what heals other people. So the whole Western paranormal research thing is just clueless because they are out of touch with the connection to feelings. So they want to do all sorts of random generators or odds of predicting cards, etc. but the paranormal energy is actually an extension of emotional energy connected to morality as spirituality. So the greater your power the deeper in emptiness you have to go which means the less of "you" there is. It's like what Kurt Godel said about time travel -- he was presented with the paradox of killing your grandparents and then you can be born so how could you travel back to kill them. Godel said that if a person time travels they would not DESIRE to change their past. Because what travels in time is not "you" but the impersonal consciousness itself AFTER the emotional desire for materialistic power is "emptied" out. So if you get what you want it's really not you that wanted it -- the process is impersonal and happens because it was the necessary emotional balance that needed to take place.
  2. Feel free to share yours. I stopped practicing for a couple months just to see if the magnetic bliss in the middle of my brain would go away. Nope.
  3. retention vs conservation

redundant as in redirecting the re-DICK-ulous. Good idea.

Very cool Matt. Yeah when I have alcohol and fatty food I can feel my liver get hot as I clear it out. haha. I drink a lot of vinegar. Well I should really be on Chunyi Lin's modified bigu diet but my diet is getting better. Before I was eating 3 bulbs of garlic a day to counteract the city food of high fat and sugar! haha. I was vegetarian for 15 years.

  8. retention vs conservation

I was trying to figure out what was going on -- the energy is stronger than normal. I finally got hold of a calendar with the moon cycles on it! Yep -- third day before the full moon. If only I had known that last night but I remember right before I went to sleep -- I had thought "oh I'll just rest a bit and then go back into full lotus" because I knew I still needed to convert some jing back into chi. Oh well. Woke up after a few hours sleep but it was too late! haha. The energy is ten times stronger than normal on the third night before the full moon -- and that's why Gabriel Cousins, student of Muktananda, says males should go on dry fast during the full moon. haha.
  9. retention vs conservation

Yeah I finally lost a load -- it had been since mid October! -- So I guess that was still just over 3 months. But the thing is that when the third eye opens it is PERMANENTLY MAGNETIZED -- so that you can recharge very quickly. The lower tan tien energy is different because that's what you store to transmit to others, to use for your own healing and longevity (the immortal spirit body) and to further open up the third eye. But once the third eye is open then the magnetic bliss is permanent. That's what Gurdieff calls a Number 4 person -- after that you work towards fully opening the third eye and that requires probably the three years meditation stint as in Tibetan Buddhism. The gong is 3 months -- to first open the third eye.
  10. Yeah that was from a dude in Spain who just got back online recently -- as the top post on the link shows -- he did the interview with me and translated the whole thing himself - took him a few months!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRSjzY0s0SM This guy has a riveting story. People are turned off from his Southern evangelical angle on his experience. Nevertheless it is pretty amazing. 17. Yogic diet a way to achieve breatharianism?

Thanks for the report back Sean. I had a sleep over with a high school male and he took me to his school mate's birthday party. I was the only gringo -- she was turning 17. Everyone was tipsy and I was sober. She said for her birthday she wanted me to sleep with her. "Si o No?" Everyone started chanting it at me. haha. I definitely wanted to sleep with her but it was definitely not the right circumstances. haha. So I'm with you Sean -- I had to escape from that one night -- the rest of the time I was surrounded by gringo college students.
  18. Chunyi Lin Hello my dear friends! People ask me about earthquakes. Mother Earth has to balance herself and there are nature changes. She has a way to breath and the earth moves. During the changes we can help her balance the energy by qigong, prayer and meditation. After changes happen we can go within and ask what we can do to make things better. 2 hours ago
  19. Strange Meditation Experience...

Yeah that's when I go into full lotus.

    don't forget the smoked salmon.
  22. Sounds awesome. I started out right hand but then realized I had become a "chick magnet" through the electromagnetic energy activating the vagus nerve climax in females. And after I went 8 days on just half glass of water I realized consciousness is always already. So then I started eating meat and always smelling like shit and eating garlic to kill the shit smell and always having mutual climaxes with females at a distance while I was in full-lotus and having love with females and then drinking alcohol instead of garlic to kill the shit from meat, etc. Tantra.
  23. Knowing vs feeling

Raz -- that is awesome. I never "felt"? that about the Swedish language -- I meant I never knew that but you get what I mean! haha. I found this book comparing Minnesota culture to Swedish and the amazing similarities -- for example body language (more distance while talking) --- saying thanks all the time -- stuff like that. Of course Minnesota - at least the Twin Cities -- is much less Swedish and more Latino! haha. Anyway thanks for sharing. The culture seems to arise from the ecology -- the weather and such but still the sound of language expresses the feeling. That Daniel Tammet is big on this -- the famous savant of the U.K. -- how phronesia or something. Anyway how the sound of words actually expresses its visual shape -- which gets to the connection between tactile sensation and sound -- it's called proprioreception. There's a secret technology in the U.S. called the "brainport" which converts all senses to proprioreception which is the neural sensation of feeling touch.
  24. Yogic diet a way to achieve breatharianism?

Sean how did the Ticos treat you! haha. Lots of gringos down there now I bet. I was there in 1992 in the fall -- toured the whole country. So did you fall in love? With the rainforest I mean! haha. Just joking. Welcome back to the belly of the beast. Seriously though there's a bit of a yoga scene down in Costa Rica right? Any report back would be great. How long were you there?
  25. New Qigong Book

Has anyone got this book yet from Patrick Dougherty? http://springforestqigong.com/a_whole-hearted_embrace.htm'>http://springforestqigong.com/a_whole-hearted_embrace.htm He is a psychologist who now teaches http://springforestqigong.com and uses the healing in his psychology practice. There's a few other websites of psychologists doing Spring Forest Qigong healing with great healing testimonies as well. Here's a study proving SFQ is effective treatment for depression: http://www.springforestqigong.com/depression_study.htm http://www.breathingqigong.com/ I've had a few conversations with Patrick. Once I went to see that psychic movie with Tom whats his name Scientology or Dianetics guy -- anyway they use psychic to predict crime. I was waiting for the next showing and Patrick walked down the hallway of the mall -- no one was around as it was afternoon on a weekday in the winter. Anyway Patrick was standing in front of me and I could feel this intense heat coming from his heart chakra. haha. I didn't say anything about it but it was kind of funny. He also was a black belt in karate I think -- he was friends with Jim Nance and they discovered Chunyi Lin together back around 1995. About Patrick Patrick Dougherty, M.A., L.P., is a licensed psychologist with 30 years experience. Along with his private practice, he has been teaching and leading workshops, locally and nationally, for the past 20 years. Coming from a tradition that focuses on the mind, he has spent the last 18 years learning about the connection between the mind and the body, understanding that physical and mental health are intrinsically linked. He has studied and practiced many forms of energy work (meditation, Tai Chi, and others) before becoming a qigong practitioner. He has studied with Master Chunyi Lin since 1996 and has been teaching Spring Forest Qigong since 1997. He practices yoga, holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is a bonsai gardener. He lives with his daughter in St. Paul, Minnesota.
