  1. Video: Drugs and Tai Chi Sword Lesson #4

That was sweet because his teaching was very precise -- the foot pivot then hip pivot; the two movement flip. Did you watch the DRUG vid I posted? Actually I did ayahuasca analog while in full-lotus after my qigong training and I can assure you the ayahuasca was an AMAZING kundalini healing experience which opened up my chakras big time -- in a post-death rainbow vortex, called DMT HYPERSPACE. http://realitysandwich.com has plenty of other examples of people getting healed in the West through DMT-type DRUGS. In fact as I've already posted -- note this curandero stated he could not eat salt -- NO SALT -- well read the book "Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality" -- same thing! NO SALT allowed! Also when he was in the forest for 8 years? NO SEX!! Sublimation of sex energy is also required. So already they're practicing mind yoga and a yoga diet.... there's a long history of drugs and yoga combined whether it's alcohol or cannabis or DMT-type plants, etc.

  3. Cold hands during practice

Chunyi Lin recommend black beans and Chinese black sesame seeds for kidney deficiency. I guess the color black is kidney energy but also is connected with iron (black beans). Black sesame seeds are very high in tryptophan. Of course cayenne gets the blood circulating well and heats you up! Here in Minnesota a trick is to put cayenne in your socks in the winter -- well it's kind of silly.
  4. Cold hands during practice

It takes 3 months to clear out the toxins from smoking so you are probably going through some great healing right now! Congratulations. Also if you drink anything that activates your kidney adrenaline -- like if you drink coffee in the morning -- OR if you have sugar which overactivates the pancreas and then the adrenals have to extract blood from your extremities. That's why both sugar and coffee cause cold hands and cold feet. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah the Cow Collar Magnet mechanism is a bit confusing since there's a dialectical reversal of sorts -- still Nilo's 5 pounders should be well suited for a cow: The common method for preventing milk fevers has been to restrict calcium intake before freshening. This method isn't always effective. Calcium restriction is believed to stimulate the body mechanism that mobilizes calcium from bones into the blood stream. High calcium levels in most hay crops today makes calcium restriction difficult. Strides have been made through modification of the cation and anion mineral balance through feeding mineral supplements and selected feeds prior to freshening, to shift the metabolism of the cow to a more acidic state. This acidic state can be measured by a lowering of urine pH. Most cows fed legumes and grasses are consuming many more cations (potassium, sodium, calcium, and magnesium) than anions (chloride, sulfur, and phosphorus). A high intake of cations relative to anions causes the cow's blood and urine to become more alkaline (higher pH). That condition reduces bone calcium release and intestinal calcium absorption and results in low blood calcium levels when the cow starts milking. It has been suggested that success in the use of lower calcium rations prior to freshening to reduce milk fever susceptibility may occur because low calcium feeds are also very often low in total cations, including potassium. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION This invention relates to prevention of milk fever in freshened cows by correcting low blood calcium levels. The present invention provides a collar which will surround the neck of a cow, the collar having therein at least one magnet.
  6. Magnets with your chi gung?

Nilo -- according to the following Cow Magnetic Collar invention -- the blood and urine are made MORE acidic from magnets and this then causes a LEACHING of alkaline minerals from the bones.... A cow with increased alkalinity in the blood suffers from a condition in which the parathyroid glands are less effective in causing a release of calcium stored in the bone and in increasing absorption of calcium in the gut. Hence, it is desirable to reduce the pH of the prefreshened cow in anticipation of calving. It is known that low blood calcium levels in cows are associated with an alkaline condition in the cow, that is, an excess of cations in the blood stream and an increased pH. Acidity in the physiology of a cow is a function of the concentration of hydrogen ions (H ) in the blood stream of the cow. Hydrogen ions arise from the decomposition of water molecules from dietary intakes, and from other physiologic mechanisms. When allowed to reach an ambient state, hydrogen anions combine to form hydrogen molecules, H2. When hydrogen atoms are subjected to a magnetic field, their spins are polarized and the atoms will be less likely to combine to form hydrogen molecules. In the anion state, H ions contribute to a lowering of pH, that is, to a more acidic state. In order to subject the H ions in a cow's body to a magnetic field, a magnetic collar was developed. The preferred embodiment of the invention provides a cow collar with a pair of flexible strip magnets carried within a sheath comprising the collar such that one strip magnet is adjacent one side of the cow's neck and another strip magnet is adjacent the opposite side of the cow's neck. It is an object of the invention to provide an apparatus to reduce the alkalinity of the body of a cow. MEANWHILE THIS STUDY PROMOTING MAGNETIZED WATER, the basis for Ragnar's qi magnets, ALSO RELIES ON THE SAME INCREASED ACIDITY OF URINE TO RELEASE THE ACID FROM THE BODY Galitzer, M. and Reminick, H. "A Study on the Efficacy of a Naturally Magnetized Water on Improving Kidney Function and Cell Stability", Explore! for the Professional, Prescott, AZ, Vol 10:4, 2001. Introduction: Among the many functions demanded of water in sustaining the health and stability of a living organism is its role as a solvent, catalyst and transporter. For water to be effective in the body it must be able to hydrate and nourish cells and remove toxins. It must contain properties which react to the body's magnetic field. Water which is naturally formed with magnetic properties and free of any contamination will provide the body with the best opportunity to remain balanced and age more slowly. This study looked at the efficacy of a naturally magnetized mineral water in detoxifying tissues by removing acidity and wastes which cause the body to deteriorate and speed aging. Health deteriorates as tissues become more acidic. Lowering of urine pH reflects removing acidity, stabilizing blood pH. Decreased Resistivity reflects increased conductivity, greater ability of kidneys to remove excessive mineral salts. Several studies have been conducted with this water with positive results being reported. SO THE MAGNETS NEED TO BE SUPPLEMENTED WITH AN INCREASE IN ALKALINE MINERALS IN THE DIET.

  8. http://www.voyagestohell.com/tbs/books/051...f_vairocana.htm Part 1-2-3 = Tibetian Yoga Masters -- old footage of the REAL deal! This thread is dedicated to the VAJ posters on taobums. haha. Highest Yoga Tantra and Mahamudra By Master Sheng-yen Lu Translated by Cheng Yew Chung, Edited by Dance Smith This was translated from Grandmaster Lu's 51st book, 無上密與大手印. CHAPTER 3 - The Meditation of Vairocana First we must learn the seven point meditation posture, which is also known as the seven points of Vairocana. This meditation posture strives to achieve balance in mind and body through the sitting posture. In India, this position for sitting meditation is called the full lotus position, and we know it as the crossed-legged position. As often seen in Buddha statues, the legs are in the vajra posture, with both legs crossed and the soles facing upwards. Thus it is known as the full vajra position. Sitting in the full lotus position allows the body and mind to stay in complete equilibrium, removing discursive thoughts and facilitating blood circulation. It allows the body to remain soft yet able to endure hardships. Through the seven point meditation posture, one may obtain primordial wisdom, achieve meditational stability, and directly attain Buddhahood. Why is it called the seven points of Vairocana? It is because Vairocana Buddha is the central Dhyani Buddha of the Five Buddhas, known also as the Great Sun Tathagata (Dainichi Nyorai). Vairocana is the principal deity of Esoteric Buddhism, and is the main deity of both the Vajradhatu Mandala and Garbhadhatu Mandala, symbolizing Universal Illumination. The image of Vairocana within the Diamond, or Vajradhatu, Mandala is known as the Wisdom Truth Body of the Great Sun, in which he displays the Wisdom-Fist Mudra. The image of Vairocana in the Womb, or Garbhadhatu, Mandala, represents the principle or reason (in Japanese, Ri) aspect of Dainichi, and is known as the Principle Truth Body of the Great Sun. In this image Vairocana displays the Dharmadhatu Mudra (in Japanese, Hokaijyo-in). According to the Buddhist sutra, the image of Vairocana is described as follows: Vairocana sits on an eight-petalled lotus throne; he has a body gold in colour, appearing like a Bodhisattva seated cross-legged on a jewel lotus, wearing a five Buddha precious crown painted white. His back is adorned with the combined five coloured circular light, his head is encircled with a cloud, and his body is encircled in a colourful aura of multi-layered lights. He appears with shoulder-length, deep maroon hair and long, pierced earlobes adorned with gold earrings. His neck is adorned with layers of ornaments and precious jewels, pearl and jade necklaces, blue pearl ornaments and a garland that hangs down to his knees. His arms are adorned with pearl and jade armlets, and his wrists are decorated with gold bracelets, which may also be worn on his upper arms. His hands are placed together, palms facing upward, with the left palm covering the right palm; the thumbs of each hand touch each other, placed beneath the navel to display the image of entering absorption. He is dressed in light, white celestial clothing, wears a skirt made of different textiles such as blue brocade and silk, and his waist is wrapped with a green girdle belt. Inwardly, the merits of Vairocana illuminate the dharma realm of Suchness, and outwardly, they illuminate all sentient beings without hindrances. These merits comprise all virtues and merits as a complete whole, and remain constant and unchanged. They also embody the mind of all sentient beings and all Buddhas, whose light is omnipresent. This is the light of this Tathagata who illuminates the dharma realms in equanimity. Vairocana is never seen in a standing posture, but only in the sitting position. This carries a deeper meaning, as he is the central figure of the Dhyani Buddhas and his image shows him entering into profoundly deep meditation. Thus, the teaching of Mahamudra begins with the meditation posture of Vairocana, where the legs are crossed in the vajra posture of the full lotus position, with the soles of the feet facing upwards. Some people whose legs are short or whose joints are stiff may find it impossible to cross their legs and achieve the full lotus position. However, they should at least attempt to adjust their soles to face upwards and pull their legs towards the body to achieve a balanced posture. The hands form the Dharmadhatu Mudra with palms facing upwards, resting beneath the navel point, with the right hand placed over the left hand and the thumbs lightly touching. Alternately, one may form a mudra with tip of the middle fingers touching each other and the thumbs placed at the lower portion of the index fingers, and maintain this mudra consistently. We can use either of these two mudras. Keep the chest up and slightly move the shoulders backward. The chin is slightly tucked in, just as a soldier would raise his chest and tuck his chin in training. Press the tongue lightly against the upper palate. This is of vital importance, as it is what Taoists would call bridging heaven and earth or building a celestial bridge. When animals enter into hibernation, their tongues rest in a position touching the upper palate. When a practitioner initially enters into the practice of Mahamudra, he would not be able to truly enter into tranquility if his tongue does not touch his upper palate. In India, the act of pressing the tongue against the upper palate is called Khechari. This is not performed simply by touching the upper roof of the palate with the tongue, but also involves rolling the tongue backwards so that it reaches deep into the throat (slipping behind the nasopharynx) and presses against either nasal opening. In this way, one achieves balance between body and mind, for the disruptive flow of breath is calmed. In this way life can be prolonged, and ones essence is kept in place without depletion. The pressing of the tongue against the upper palate requires bending the tongue like a hook to hook against the inner nostril. The Taoist views the tongue as a bridge between ones shen or spirit, which resides in the head, and ones body and heart. The next aspect of Vairocana meditation is the act of gazing at an object. Most practitioners of the Mahamudra may sit cross-legged in the lotus posture, with the hands positioned beneath the navel (resting on the lap), lift the chest, and press the tongue against the upper palate, yet their minds may still wonder, generating discursive thoughts. Thus, when we want to pacify the mind, we must begin by focusing on one point. The training starts with a person taking an object, placing it within five and a half feet of their gaze, and concentrating on it without letting the gaze waver. In time, one should be able to gaze longer, and once the focus is fixed, the mind is stabilized. Otherwise, the mind wanders. When the mind drifts away, the lackluster gaze makes the person appear dull. Therefore, one must begin with training the mind to focus on one point, as that is the key to pacifying the mind. The first of the five lineages of Tantrayana is the Tathagata lineage, known also as the Buddha lineage. The principal Buddha of the Buddha lineage is Vairocana Buddha. The mother of the Tathagata lineage is Bodhisattva Buddha Eye (Locana). The Light King of the Tathagata lineage is Vijayosnisa. The Wrathful One is Acala. The consort of the Tathagata Lineage is Aparajitavidyarajni. The heart of the Tathagata lineage involves secret mantras. These constitute the divisions of the Buddha lineage, which also includes their many retinues. When we begin the practice of Mahamudra, we must first learn the meditation posture of Vairocana so that we may gain access into the Buddha lineage and attain Buddhahood within this very body. Know that the cross-legged full lotus position is meant to take advantage of the circulation of xiaxing chi (downward moving energy which covers the area from the navel to the toes), and is not a pose taken for aesthetic reasons. It is a position that facilitates the smooth circulation of the downward moving energy. Place the hands evenly [on your lap], with the tips of the middle fingers touching each other, and keep the thumbs close to the lower portion of the index fingers. This keeps the body and mind in complete balance, and allows the body temperature, the circulation of chi and blood circulation to stay in good balance. By raising the chest and tucking in the chin, the spirit and energy circulate throughout the whole body without hindrance. If we do not raise our chest and tuck our chin, insufficiency of spirit and energy will lead to falling asleep during practice. Many have asked me why they fall asleep upon entering meditation. This is all due to the chest not being raised and the chin not being tucked in, resulting in an absence of spirit and energy. Too much relaxation will lead to falling asleep. When the tongue is pressed against the upper palate, it allows the shangxing chi (upward-moving wind, or Udana in Sanskrit) to move downward, and the xiaxing chi (downward-moving wind or Apana in Sanskrit) to move upwards. The two energy currents nurture each other through this approach. This important point shall be elucidated in chapter four. The act of gazing at one object, which is also the method of Focusing the Spirit into the Tianxin Location [the forehead, the seat of the spiritual eye], is a major training of The Illuminated Way of Meditation, and helps to focus the mind on one point. With this focus of mind, one enters into meditative absorption. We can place a vajra or dorje about five and a half feet away from us and gaze at it. The vajra is a precious Tantric ritual object symbolizing indestructibility. When we look at the vajra, we should revere it as though it were the Chinese emperors elongated jade tablet. This will make the meditation meaningful and tangible. Vairocana, the Great Sun Tathagata, once expounded the dharma at the abode of Mahesvara. The Tathagata at that time had appeared in a body of gold, with his hair piled on top of his head, forming a topknot (Sanskrit: ushnisha) that appeared like a crown with the Five Buddhas seated on it. The Tathagata was radiating lights of many colours, and was clothed in silk like a white celestial robe. This is a sign of attaining perfect enlightenment in the Suddhavasa Heaven. Some people assume that Vairocana, the Great Sun Tathagata, is the Sun God. However, I feel that while the Great Sun Tathagata is synonymous with the sun itself, which turns darkness into brightness, the suns light is divided into day and night, and there are places where sunlight can never reach. Thus, the word great is added to the word sun to signify that the light of the Buddha is undivided by day or night, interior or exterior areas, as the wisdom light of the Great Sun Tathagata shines completely in equanimity throughout all dharma realms. I shall reveal a secret to you, my readers. When Vairocana was residing in the abode of Mahesvara and giving his discourses, among the audience was one kumara whose name was Padmakumara. Padmakumara placed his palms together in respect and asked the Buddha, Why is the Tathagata seen sitting, and not standing? To sit is to abide within the great dharma realm in tranquility, and I make full use of the seven point sitting position to instruct sentient beings. How should the instruction be carried out? Padmakumara asked. Through the Mahamudra that is constant and indestructible, which harmonizes the body and mind. Padmakumaras questions set into motion a series of events that would result in a specific time in the distant future where I, as Padmakumara, would deliver sentient beings. I accepted the decree of Vairocana and came as a manifestation of Padmakumara to transmit the Mahamudra. This is how it started, and the event itself is a celestial secret, which was neither mysterious nor improvised. Everything has its design and purpose. Mahamudra is anything but simple. One begins with the seven point Vairocana sitting posture, balancing and controlling the functions of chi and the meridians. Through the full lotus position, the meditation mudra, the raising of the chest and tucking in of the chin, the pressing of the tongue against the upper palate, and the gazing at one object, one harmonizes the body and mind. Only by mastering these prerequisites and setting a good practice foundation can one begin the practice of the heart teaching of purity and perfect realization. Before one can arrive at the state of non-meditation and non-attainment, one should start with the preliminaries of meditation and attainment. Mahamudra involves the practice of winds, channels and drops. It is an approach for attaining Buddhahood in this very body, and not some empty doctrines to dwell upon as a theoretical endeavour. It requires the individual to put it into practice, to cultivate, to truly gain a spiritual response, from which he shall know that I, Sheng-yen Lu, do not make this up, for what is being said here is absolutely true.

Sinno -- what's the deal between Mantis and the VAJ Santiago? I know they're in the same city -- Mantis' journal starts out with this: and i'm back. i decided to step away from this all for some time after i figured out i was practicing for the wrong reasons. to be more specific, i was only doing the spring forest qigong practices hoping i'd develop abilities similar to drew's. Then later he says that the http://springforestqigong.com small universe c.d. is better than what he's used previously. He mentions that he's interested in checking out Santiago -- but Mantis comments to Santiago in the "staring at goats" thread are full of vehemence. anyone?

  17. VAJ posture: Tibetian Yoga Masters

OK Vortex if you scroll down on this link you get the article that was published -- an online journal contacted me -- Ampersand -- asking for an article -- this was based on my self-directed research credit doing SFQ for my masters degree! http://www.nonduality.com/whatis8.htm Anyway so I was practicing at least 2 hours a day doing active standing and small universe and self-concentration. My diet had sodium just no chloride! haha. It's because chloride is a NEGATIVE ion in salt -- so sodium is found in vegetables and also I used Braggs soy to make sure I had enough sodium. [if an atom or group loses electrons or gains protons, it will have a net positive charge and is called a cation cation (kăt'ī`ən), atom or group of atoms carrying a positive charge.] After the classes from Chunyi Lin my tan tien would be hot, my body full of energy -- so I was already doing the 100 day gong as soon as I got the book "Taoist Yoga" -- in fact I brought the book to his class, kept it in my backpack, so there was no way he could see it. Chunyi Lin then directly quoted from the book Taoist Yoga -- TWICE -- when I had it on me. Strange because he never quoted from the book any other time. Anyway during the bigu week "energy fast" I had half a glass of water -- but all at once -- I didn't plan it out. It was probably around 4 days -- then my body filled with electromagnetic energy -- my energy centers in my hands and feet PULSATED with electromagnetic energy -- BREATHING and my lungs no longer needed to breath. So the electromagnetic energy was creating oxygen -- through ionization via my skin -- and also water began flowing through my 3rd eye doing into my mouth. So that was the ambrosia I think it's referred to in Taoist Yoga. I figured I got up to about chapter 10 in Taoist Yoga and then I realized I couldn't fallow the book anymore -- the explanations were too complicated and the energy was too strong. Besides people around me were freaking out and females were super attracted to me. That's when I suddenly realized that the energy caused females to be turned on -- the electromagnetic energy was orgasmic for females. But I didn't act on that. I just did more research, kept practicing. But then females kept hitting on me more and more. I had precognition, telepathy and telekinesis. I did 3 day fasts. But I kept losing the alchemical pill. Also after going a week to 9 days with no food and next to no water -- it was literally like coming back from the dead. So I ate whatever any one else was eating. In nirvikalpa samadhi it's REALIZED that emptiness is the truth of reality -- that "I" don't exist. So I destroyed my journals and even threw out my Yan Xin practice tape (no longer available!). So then I started sitting in full-lotus in public because females were hitting on me so strongly I didn't want to be sucked off. Then IN 2006 I accidentally had this psychic mutual climax when this young female put her backside right in front of my full-lotus view -- about 5 feet from me. She leaped into the air, with a climax, and I also climaxed -- and had to accept the truth. So then I tested this ability out, posting the results as the "O at a D" on http://breakingopenthehead.com Then I realized that the "O at a Ds" just happen by their own as the energy flows while I'm in full-lotus. My vagus nerve pulsates on the right side of my neck, going to my pineal gland which then shoots out electromagnetic fields, SUCKED UP BY FEMALES. The females do not even have to be in the same room -- often I don't even know the source that is sucking up my 3rd eye energy. I've had O at a Ds with Muslim females -- when they are in the "women only" section -- behind a wall -- but with their backs to me! Or with the back to me in the next booth. I've had hundreds of O at a Ds with females in the past 5 years. Meanwhile males remain clueless -- I can charge up males but then they just ejaculate and get anger-sad-worried-scared or full of lust. haha. So then why waste my time trying to "convince" males that only the full-lotus really successfully sublimates the sex energy? haha. I mean why do I need males that ejaculate and then get angry, etc.? I'm having too much fun in tantric bliss with females -- healing them and myself at the same time! Still the males -- the primates -- do start to wonder what the hell is going on. The modern ejaculating males do get confused -- do jump up and down stammering and complaining -- how dare I sit in full-lotus all the time like a real yogi! haha. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPnnYpA7DeI&NR=1
  18. VAJ posture: Tibetian Yoga Masters

O.K. first of all getting transmissions from Chunyi Lin changes EVERYTHING. haha. I mean people just don't understand. So I just followed his classes but then to work towards the Level III retreat I did more active and more small universe and more "self-concentration" (either half or full lotus). Then I read Taoist YOga: Alchemy and IMmortality" following the NO SALT diet. About a week before the Level III my Lower Tan Tien filled with energy -- tummo heat bliss -- and I was not hungry. I saw that Chunyi Lin taught fasting for the Level III so I thought I'll just be prepared in advanced. I fasted on just half a glass of water while doing more of the above. By the end of the week I had really strong electromagnetic fields. At the retreat I could sit in full-lotus for two hours straight as we did meditations that long. I saw dead spirits coming to get chi from Chunyi Lin -- he confirmed this happens all the time for him!! Anyway then I returned and healed my mom, accidentally pulled this old lady's spirit out of her head -- when I sat in full-lotus a VORTEX would cause the room to spin around me. People I knew were freaking out from my electromagnetic chi -- exorcisms!! When I ate some vegan soup tofu -- it had salt in it and tasted like POISON. My mom insisted I was hallucinating and so I ate a bunch of food and fell back into worldliness from heroic overexuberance -- as Master Nan, Huai-chin details. O.K. so that was in 2000. Then Chunyi Lin said that I should have called him -- he didn't say it to me directly but in the third person -- also don't get too overexcited and afraid! Since then I've relied on full-lotus but I usually don't do two hours straight (unless I'm having O at a Ds!!) haha. Seriously a cafe owner, a friend, told me that he's seen me sit in full-lotus for "hours at a time." Well I do take bathroom breaks which nullifies the intensity. Chunyi Lin was first healed by Yan Xin -- 7 hour chi emitting lecture NO BATHROOM BREAKS!! Anyway so then Chunyi Lin stuck his finger to my forehead and this laser-love blasted the middle of my brain and eversince it's been permanently magnetized. I even stopped practicing for a few months to see if it would go away. When the full moon hits the middle of my brain is overwhelming with magnetic force -- that's how I know it's the full moon! haha. please see the definition use for etymology and obsession. and it's "you're" but ha!

Theologians and preachers are sometimes obsessed with etymology, seeming to believe that where a word comes from tells us its real meaning. Linguists would say that how a word is used tells us its meaning! Where it is possible, in this case synchronic is preferable to diachronic study.

Capital -- first of all there's a Misplaced Pronoun Modifier in your post. Can you find it? Can any one else? Secondly I defer to Chunyi Lin on the full-lotus http://springforestqigong.com He says that 20 minutes of full-lotus is worth 4 hours of any other meditation practice. Chunyi Lin also says if you want to see if someone is a real master just see how long they can sit in full-lotus. Now most people on this forum have no direct experience with Chunyi Lin but he does heal patients referred to him by doctors from the top hospital in the U.S. -- the Mayo Clinic. Chunyi Lin has also taught qigong to the doctors at the Mayo Clinic and he's co-authored a qigong chapter with Mayo clinic dr. Nina Mishek for a Mayo Clinic medical textbook. Does that mean he's not really enlightened? SURE! haha. Whatever -- I mean really it's not for me to say! I'm not even qualified to be a real student of Chunyi Lin! haha. He has trained one other person to be a qigong master -- Jim Nance. Chunyi Lin told Jim Nance that he had to sit in full-lotus TWO HOURS NON-STOP EVERY NIGHT IN ORDER TO BE A QIGONG MASTER. So I hope that gives you a better answer than guesswork. Since guesswork is all WE really have! haha. hint hint. Is guesswork really one word like Kraftwerk?

Bhang was first used as part of the Hindu rite in India around 1000 BC and soon became an integral part of Hindu culture. In the ancient text Atharvaveda, bhang is described as a beneficial herb that "releases anxiety". Preparations of bhang were sacred to the gods, particularly Shiva. One of Shiva's epithets is "Lord of Bhang." In imitation of Shiva, many sadhus use Bhang to boost meditation and to achieve transcendental states.
