Looks like the old Karma ran over my Dogma joke has taken on a new meaning: The California-based Fisker Automotive's Karma uses Q-DRIVE plug-in hybrid technology, developed exclusively for Fisker Automotive by Quantum Technologies. A fully-charged Karma burns no fuel for the first 50 miles. After venture further, the gasoline engine turns a generator to charge the lithium ion battery. Once the 50-mile electric range has been exceeded, the car operates as a normal hybrid vehicle. This balance of electric and gas range makes it entirely possible that Karma drivers who charge their car overnight and commute less than 50 miles a day will achieve an average fuel economy of 100 mpg (2.4L/100km) per year.

Ed I'm sorry about your situation. I rely on full-lotus to clear up neck tension. An hour of full-lotus in the morning clears out the night's neck tension and from the previous day. Full-lotus is very powerful for neck tension. Good luck. -
I-Dea -- "I" is One -- here I'll repost this on the TREE of LIFE AND KNOWLEDGE from the perspective of Kundalini as MUSIC -- SILENCE means LISTENING as e-turn-al. Eternal. All the others go on and on about meanings of words and ignore MUSIC!! THE MUSE -- the "inner ear" method. Enjoy. My interpretation into Taoism is this The Tree of Life is the lower tan tien as the apple. The life force energy is Kundalini as the snake. The Tree of Knowledge to live like God is to eat the apple while communing with the snake -- sublimating the life force energy through the "microcosmic orbit" or "small universe" -- "small heavenly circuit" practice. So in Western religion the left-brain dominant priests CUT OFF the Tree of Life from humans and therefore also the Tree of Knowledge, making "original sin" as the lost connection with God in the Heart-mind of man -- which happens after the life-force energy as the Tree of Life connects with the Tree of Knowledge in the brain and then descends to the Heart where God is found. God is the Shen or astral spirit light energy. Tree of Knowledge is the chi or electromagnetic energy. Tree of Life is the jing or electrochemical life force of the body. But on an even deeper level is the INNATE NATURE or EMPTINESS of Taoism and Buddhism -- or the Pure Awareness of Hinduism -- which means that while God is a Spirit -- eternal truth is beyond spirit light and darkness -- beyond good and evil -- eternal truth is always-already awareness. Christianity actually is an extension of the ancient Greek teachings which come from Egypt, Babylonian (Persia) and India and even China.... So when it's taught that God is "I Am that I Am" it's the same as the nondual awareness or Emptiness only externalized for the use of technological power through axiomatic logic. I is the One whereas AM is the OHM or Tai-Chi symbol or the 2:3:4 of Pythagorean Kundalini teachings -- 2:3 is the yang electromagnetic chi while 3:4 is the yin or electrochemical jing energy. Pythagoras (Snake or Kundalini Master) was the father of Greek Philosophy -- and he taught with music whereas in Taoism the Perfect 5th music ratio 2:3 is YANG and the Perfect 4th music ratio 3:4 is YIN and the small universe microcosmic orbit "small heavenly cycle" that harmonizes the Tree of Life (lower tan tien) with the Tree of Knowledge (upper tan tien) to know God (the heart-mind middle tan tien) -- is a 12 note resonance practice (again the small universe microcosmic orbit is from the 12 notes of the yin-yang music scale!) -- the 12 notes of the music scale as the "infinite spiral of fifths" or yang spirit energy.... The process itself is eternal because it's asymmetrical whereas when Greek philosophy joined with Egyptian (Judaic) religion via Babylonia and Vedic mathematics (the concept of sunyata or zero as axiomatic logic) -- then the "Greek Miracle" changed the natural resonance kundalini training into geometric mathematics -- the equal-tempered music scale is based on the square root of two -- so the original 12 notes of the music scale are now mis-tuned and Western music is brain-washing. haha. Have fun.

Oak trees live long lives -- I live in Oak forest right now. It means going to China maintains the "inner ear" method of Buddhism also called Quan Yin or "sound-current" -- the Ch'an Masters (read Charles Luk secrets of Chinese Meditation) -- notes the "inner ear" method was the best taught by Buddha. It's the silent vichara meditation. That's also the same as "if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there did it make a sound" or also "what is the sound of one hand clapping?" or "what is it that hears?" SIGH-LENSE -- silence as reverse breathing that creates light. http://www.youtube.com/yogeeshashram#p/a/7...C/0/2-9hxrIebRw

Ha! I'M from Minnesota and I've read Stuart A Olson's books. Thanks for reminding me of him -- he's in Phoenix Arizona now with his own Taoist center -- http://phoenixtaoistcenter.com/PTCwebsite/..._and_Staff.html Toronto is some 680 miles or 1000 kilometers from Minneapolis Minnesota where Stuart Olson used to be based.... so not exactly close! haha. About 11 hours by car I guess. But then jk in Hong Kong -- since you corrected the 10 to 11 words in Chinese! haha. 11 hours by car is no distance in your mind! haha.

Lino -- I appreciate you being forthright about your views on what I wrote but the follow-up comments that are in line with yours I find to be not very sincere. Nevertheless -- I defer to Mantak Chia's teachings as per Michael Winn's description of a very high-level energy master in India: "In 1983, two years after I had shifted my main practice from White Tantric Yoga to Daoist internal alchemy, I stumbled onto Kriya Yoga, a Tantric method taught by Swami Paramhamsa Hariharananda Giri ("Baba" to his followers). His Kriya Yoga was definitely not self-invented, but strictly followed the initiations he had received in India from Sri Yukteswar and from his student, Paramhamsa Yogananda, who founded the Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF) in the USA the 1920's. Baba was later made President of Sri Yukteswar's ashram in Puri, India, and took higher level kriya initiations from other yogis in a lineage extending back to its founder Lahiri Mahasay. Lahiri, a railroad engineer with five children, claims an immortal being named Babaji appeared to him in 1862 and taught him six kriyas (Sanskrit root kri, to act, ya, divine soul). These kriyas offered a structured internal map of subtle body development, through six stages of samadhi. To objectively explore these practices, I eventually discontinued my Daoist internal alchemy practices for a few years. "Kriya Yoga is Tantric in its divinization of the body. In the first kriya, prana is circulated up and down the spine. [microcosmic orbit] In the second kriyas, internal seed (bij) mantras are silently chanted to infuse the spinal pathway and the multi-petalled lotuses visualized in the chakras and fifty body parts. [opening central channel] Then the 50 letter-sounds of the sanskrit alphabet are spiralled around the cranium, activating the primordial sound which is gradually captured into the center of the cranial void space in higher kriyas. The higher kriyas drop all use of mantra as one enters the higher void spaces. [nirvikalpa samadhi].... "Kriya Yoga is a interesting case. It was originally designed for householders, who could have sex and children, eat meat, and meditate at home to achieve enlightenment...." "....Hariharananda may eventually prove to be one of the few cases of complete sexual abstinence amongst Tantrics who have come to the West. He claims it was only when he gave up all sexual desire that he achieved enlightenment. "....Hariharananda's top-heavy, male-fire crown chakra consciousness seemed to regularly attract yogic successors-to-be who would act out his suppressed lower desires, involving themselves in money scandals and love affairs that invariably resulted in their dismissal. When I last saw him in 1999, he was having severe back pain. I read his pulses using Chinese diagnostic methods, and observed a kidney deficiency, a weakness in his water element. This was likely due to his practicing Fire methods his entire life. The thing that seemed to help his back pain was having teams of young female devotees massage his body, reminding me of the celibate Mahatma Gandhi sleeping beside two young teen girls to rejuvenate himself. The sexual energy Baba denied himself directly his entire life he could only allow himself to receive indirectly through female touch."

I agree. I thought he was real and I also thought he was INSPIRED BY THE BEAUTY OF THE EXOTIC WHITE WOMAN. haha. I mean a real qigong master gets his energy FROM the female sex energy. It's taboo to say such things -- but I also think it's taboo to say that WHITE MEN would subconsciously be pissed off to see an Asian male "authentically" healing a white lady -- again because it's based on sex energy -- so the white males (especially if they're still controlled by their lower emotional energy) jump to the gun claiming the qigong master MUST BE FAKE, etc. That's my angle on it. haha.

That's the first I heard of John Chang jumping OVER A HOUSE! haha. Chunyi Lin said once he was in deep meditation and he levitated -- spiraling up 9 feet, while in full-lotus in the mountains. He was next to a pine tree. I asked him if he had created another physical body -- a yang spirit body -- and he said that once when he came out of meditation people said they had seen him in physical body during the time he was in his house meditating. As far as seeing auras if I've had a good practice day -- which means no food, lots of full-lotus, etc. then I'll see white light around people if they are healthy. If they are not healthy then no white light. I see colors during my meditation with my eyes closed but not usually around other people. Around the qigong masters like Jim Nance and Chunyi Lin I'll see massive lights. Chunyi Lin sees lights all the time and can see INSIDE your body, plus do long-distance healing just by focusing on your name, age, sex and location -- and that's all he needs to do a healing. He also can read past lives but rarely tells someone unless it will help heal them. There's been some other stories -- like he said he got a flat tire and just sent the message for the tire to stay inflated as he was on the highway. Then he was fine and right when he got into the driveway of his house the tire deflated. haha.

MudLotus -- first of all it took Ramana Maharshi NINE YEARS of solitude practice to "achieve realization of non-duality" -- if you read his books he states this very clearly. Now I know there's a lot of "nondualists" now in the West but most just read magazines or read the Western followers of Ramana Maharshi -- many of them claiming to be in sahaja samadhi and more nonsense. In fact Poonjaji states that this happened in nondualism -- it became corrupted in the West. So just to "achieve realization of nonduality" is very very rare. Ramana Maharshi and Poonjaji (and David Godman, one westerner who has realized the difference) notes there are only 6 people in the nondual state -- sahaja samadhi -- on earth at any one time. As for if there is still a doer -- it's like sleep walking only the awareness remains conscious with every breath and thought -- meaning a person in sahaja samadhi makes no new karma and therefore produces no new "action" in the sense of it imprinting on the spirit world. So it looks like there's a person acting but the jnana is completely liberated since any actions he does leave no karmic trace. Does he act in free will? Well Ramana Maharshi states to discover if free will exists asks who has the free will -- and the true free will is realized beyond death. Again the practice is strict and was achieved under the conditions of Brahmin priests which means if a Brahmin priest even had eye contact with a female he had to do 3 days of ritual purification. Ramana Maharshi ate only a little thimble full of drink/food a day and the rest of the time was in meditation. So these nondual teachings have been watered down a lot into seminars, retreats, etc. which is all good but nothing close to the real tradition. That's true for all the spiritual practices today -- Taoism, Buddhism, shamanism. -
Notice the "Strawman Argument" form that Vaj continually uses. "Drew can act that .... [misrepresent what Drew said and set up own fantasy lie] "If that was the case [which it wasn't but in fact was my own fantasy lie so that I can now disprove my own lie!!] Ah if reality was so convenient! haha. Back to HEROES!

Answering a question from a reader at http://breakingopenthehead.com in glorious Phoenix Az. Yeah Isaiah is correct, as usual. Roy I appreciate your question as I know a lot of people who smoke but had never heard of this reaction. After googling it appears to be very common and there's been academic research into heart tarchydia from THC. The street response is to make sure you use a vapor instead of direct smoke since it's the smoke itself that causes the heart to race. And if vapor doesn't work then you have to eat the stuff. Apparently some people are more sensitive to the smoke than others -- but of course I provide no legal advice. haha. There's also a study on THC increasing violence -- I had not heard of this either -- but I guess since THC increases dopamine then it should increase violence. This is ironic given the whole peace hippy schtick -- but maybe is the real secret behind the "Manson" phenomenon -- the "Unicorn" -- Ira Einhorn or whomever who did the girlfriend murder in Philly -- as a peace-nik -- the violence in Jamaica, etc. On the other hand there's studies saying THC reverses the ethanol damage from alcohol -- too bad both booze and pot cause violence from the dopamine rush. Kind of like the sugar rush excuse for killing gays -- well yes it was a DOPAMINE "crime of passion" -- . Do two wrongs make a right? Borax counteracts fluoride poisoning -- chelates it -- but both are poisons as well yet both kill anaerobic bacteria. Anyway in the past week I've biked another 100 miles. I first went to stay in a Cambodian monastery but I had dumpster-dived all this shit food -- pastries and meat. Since my body turns shit into light energy for healing -- shit to gold -- just like the latest biofuel alchemy of electricty from manure -- well the cambodian temple was like: Holy Crap! So then I fasted and fasted and went to the Burmese monastery. I even shaved my head! I was in full-lotus and read tons of their books on vipassana. I worked with the Burmese to do sanctions against the military regime and my friend now funds and organizes the monastery. But they got mad at me for fasting --saying it wasn't Buddhism - and that I practiced full-lotus yoga while the vipassana is from just "mind yoga" which doesn't really sublimate the sex energy. As I studied more of the Theravada Buddhism texts it kept saying that the final climax of practice was for the monk to do a 7 day samadhi meditation -- no food for 7 days. Then the monk achieves CESSATION Nirvana. It describes all the details - first there is heat, bliss and trembling. Yep. Then there is light and then there is Direct Knowledge. That's the fifth Jhana -- the fifth level of samadhi. I had that as well direct knowledge -- and it says this power does not last but serves the purpose of achieving the fruit. The path in Buddhism must be analysis of the fruit or results -- analysis means balancing the power with morality in the community. The Buddhist texts then say that during this 7 day period of achieving nirvana if the Buddhist community -- the monks or lay persons -- call on the meditator to come back to the monastery for any reason he must do so. After the 7 day nirvana achievement of cessation the monk must just serve the community no matter what. He may never be able to do the nirvana training again. But if he can do the nirvana training again then the results of the direct power will increase with more analysis or vipassana insight -- this is the "light" training -- moving the light around in the body and for healing others. It's what Chunyi Lin and Jim Nance do -- it's the work of the very advanced meditators. This training is also the goal of the forest monks at the most beautiful monastery in the world -- http://www.paaukforestmonastery.org/aboutUs.htm
