Signs of Verification of Turning Around the Light
voidisyinyang replied to Cheshire Cat's topic in Daoist Discussion
To fix the eyes, the energy has to be stored up. Going cross eyed is also not necessary as you can rely on rotating the eyes as well. http://elixirfield.blogspot.com/2018/07/on-golden-nectar-dragonmercury-is-both.html See my new blog post for more details. -

The 2002 BBC documentary on Sai Baba gives the details about how he's a fake and a sex abuser. Although he's technically not a Taoist -- I think this documentary is pretty amazing: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3767740320034777862#

Based on that above link - I spent the day studying Pregadio's translation of Awakening to Reality - I blogged on it. http://elixirfield.blogspot.com/2018/07/pregadios-awakening-to-reality.html So the secret of undivided yin-yang as Yuan Qi is a "double inversion." This is what I suspected before but Awakening to Reality corroborates this. In other words what had to go down, and then up, has to go back down again (as True Lead, extracted from True Mercury).... (and vice versa).

What exactly is āturning the light aroundā, in daoist meditation?

Yan Xin will provide a great "breakdown" for you. Read this book https://www.scribd.com/doc/101462079/Yan-Xin-Secrets-Benefits-of-Internal-Qigong-Cultivation So you want a discussion of the "difference between" (said translated terms that stand for different things based on their contexts). That's called a discussion of "the different fingers that point at the Moon." Yan Xin did his healing all over China while giving lectures that often people could not understand. You jiggy? The WORDS are not the answer (i.e. semantic terms as definitions). The concepts as meaning are the guide to the meditation practice. So to approach things backwards by saying - "this word" and "this word" mean different things - what exactly do they "mean" - is to fixate on just the words and not the actual meaning involved. Don't let the semantics hold you back. https://universalflowuniversity.com/Books/Spiritual Philosophy/Taoism/Yan Xin - Secrets & Benefits of Internal Qigong Cultivation(Images).pdf That is the pdf link for the same book - as the above scribd link. Both will get you the FULL text. Now - what was the "concept" you want to discuss? Just word search the pdf link.

I took classes from Spring Forest Qigong master Chunyi Lin starting in 1999 and did intensive meditation while taking his classes in 2000. He said I had an enlightenment experience then. I kept researching and have discovered the basic principles of the training - these principles are applicable to any of the various "schools" or teachings. There are apparently thousands of qigong schools in China - although the regime only supports a handful now and severely attacks a handful as well. So as Chunyi says - "use your consciousness to go into the Emptiness and keep it simple." Now what that actually means could make you wonder. But I interpret consciousness as shen or spirit and the Emptiness as the Yuan Qi that is also information from the future - as healing energy, the Universe as alive, as a female origin. So anyway also I have not kept up with his "new" techniques he now teaches - that are more closer to Buddhism I think. But I can assure you that his skill level is very rare - he did the 49 day cave meditation at Mt. Qingcheng and he also trained at Shaolin - doing the horse stance for 2 hours nonstop (thighs totally vertical) - every day for 3 months straight. So have fun "shopping" for techniques or various schools - but I would say that it's much harder for a teacher to find a student capable of handling the real training, then it is for a student to find a real teacher. haha.

http://perceivebelieve.tumblr.com/post/159904989496/the-idiots-guide-to-taoist-alchemy-qigong Dr. Norman Bethune Allan: scientifically explained by the Wim Hof Method , pdf link: Reverse breathing means below the bellow button the stomach goes in on the in breath and above the belly button on the in breath the stomach goes out and the diaphragm is flexed down. This is also called āpressure breathing.ā The quick fire breathing (fast deep reverse breathing) doubles the adrenaline levels by physically stimulating the adrenal medullae or āyang jingā on top of the kidneys. ok it says each of the six five-day periods of the month is associated with one of the eight trigrams - and then each trigram is associated with one of the ten celestial stems - and this is one of the models for the practice of the "fire times" in internal alchemy. p. 96 -
