  1. Tests for the non-random character of the I Ching

So to address the "hidden order of quantum physics" issue that Michael Sternbach raised - this is a known "loop hole" in quantum physics. O.K. so This is called Bell's Inequality Test - and it has been "disproven" - which means that indeed the foundation of reality is non-local - just as Daoism maintains - there ARE superluminal correlations - faster than light. This was the big loophole - whether the "Measurement settings" truly are RANDOM or not. So then I accessed the pdf through https://sci-hub.tw/ https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-018-0085-3 just enter the link to get a pdf download. And so what this experiment verifies - just as John Bell argued - is that instead of using "random number generators" - it is better to use Human Free Will to create the 0/1 number string. Randomness is NOT required for the measurement settings but instead what is required is: So this is very similar to the I Ching experiment because it involves a person making choices. So the freedom of choice loophole is precisely this idea of quantum nonlocality as a deterministic factor. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2018/05/180509135409.htm And so this experiment RULES OUT the use of random number generators to test the foundation of reality. And what is this foundation of reality? Well again the mainstream view is that there are correlations that are superluminal - but inherently unknowable until they are measured. This is called Lucian Hardy's Paradox. But other experiments have shown these correlations can be views in "real time" - as "weak measurements" based on the phase probability - or the quantum potential as Bohm called it - these are the noncommtuative "changeables" that once measured become "beables." And so based on that evidence - Nobel Physicist Gerard t' Hooft argued the Universe is STILL deterministic (not random) at the microscale. So the point being that "unknowable" is NOT the same as random - and "unknowable" possibly could still be deterministic. How Does God Play Dice? (Pre-)Determinism at the Planck Scale Gerard 't Hooft (Utrecht) (Submitted on 25 Apr 2001) So it depends on how the experiment is defined but this gets into Entropy again since randomness is inherently tied to entropy - and when we get into entropy then we have to consider the "externalities" of science itself. We assume science to be objective but the "entropy" of science has been a vast ecological and social injustice crisis on Earth. So again Daoism doesn't deal with any of this - randomness is not part of Daoism, since entropy as part of randomness assumes the foundation of reality is a geometric, logarithmic continuum. This is clearly NOT Daoism. haha.
  2. I'll dig out the book and check it out....
  3. Tests for the non-random character of the I Ching

I have corresponded with math professors - and a math professor did say my music-math research was very impressive and asked me to submit it for publication. But humans have been around for a long time without "math" - some human cultures do not count about the concept of "several." haha. And so is "randomness" as concept in Daoism? No - not in the Western definition of randomness. But Western science is based on quantum physics now - and it is definitely up to debate whether randomness is even real or not. So quantum physics is noncommutative - and this does change how "randomness" is defined. Because of the "measurement problem" in quantum physics - we can no longer ignore the process of doing the math, as being part of the experiment. https://terrytao.wordpress.com/2010/02/10/245a-notes-5-free-probability/ So I was replying to "OldDog" talking about the Uncertainty Principle - and also Michael Sternbach talking about the "Hidden order" of quantum physics. So I am not just "spamming" this thread - I am replying to their very legitimate concerns about what randomness "means." https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Antoine_Suarez Yes I can critique math from a variety of perspectives because my foundation of research is from music theory. All human cultures use the Octave, Perfect Fifth, Perfect Fourth as 1:2:3:4 - and as Chuang Tzu states - - Chuang Tzu, 300 BCE And so we see those numbers 1, 2, 3 (infinity) and we think it is simple counting! No - it is actually noncommutative phase - as quantum physics has proven already. arXiv:1611.05737 [pdf, other] physics.gen-ph Telekinetic Entanglement Authors: Johann Summhammer These are not "woo woo" or "exotic" physicists. They are standard quantum physicists! haha. This dude, Summhammer, published with a famous Bell Theorem experimenter who also published with the quantum mechanics professor I had, my first year of college.
  4. Tests for the non-random character of the I Ching

O.K. let's assume your "self-organizing random" exotic theory is true. https://www.blueswami.com/home/blog/randomreality Then, based on your assumption, "life" is still explained as quantum nonlocality. Oops. haha. Then we need to address entropy and the ecological crisis - from science wrongly assuming life is random. Oh well. Math is funny that way.
  5. Tests for the non-random character of the I Ching

Yes the OP just doesn't understand quantum physics in regards to nonlocality. Just because something appears to be random, does not mean it is actually random! https://www.researchgate.net/publication/2195024_Quantum_Cooperation_of_Two_Insects This is REAL science - quantum nonlocality. haha. So the OP wants to test against randomness as the foundation of reality - but just because some appears to be random mathematically does not MEAN it is random in reality.
  6. yes read the book "Internal Foundations of Alchemy" by Wang Mu - there are more details on the hexagrams and anatomy in there. The book is not in front of me right now - so I can't quote from it.... http://www.goldenelixir.com/quotes/quote_of_the_week_56_wm.html Here you go.

  13. So as the Yuan Qi builds up - the top center of the skull opens up the fontanelle again and pulsates with qi and the bones get soft - and the spirit for astral travel actually travels out of the top of the skull. And also at this stage - of immortal breathing - then it is some kind of reverse electrolysis - so the pineal gland actually CREATES water from the Yuan Qi - by binding together hydrogen and oxygen - and this then flows down from the pineal gland, and down the throat....
  14. The yin qi is "mercury" from the heart - originating from the liver - so it is "without substance" - as the yin qi goes out of the eyes while the eyes are open. So science has shown we use 2/3rd of our brain power for our eyes when they are open - so we constantly lose this yin qi via biophotons or shen going out of the eyes via the pineal gland. The yang qi is 'with substance" as black lead or the white tiger - and so it is governed by the lungs - the deep reverse breathing activates the yang qi - so yes it is the lecithin of the cerebrospinal fluid. The pineal gland creates cerebrospinal fluid from the blood - so the food normally turns into lecithin but through the reverse breathing - the yin qi of the food is extracted and added to the yang qi of the lecithin as increased cerebrospinal fluid which then flows out of the sinus cavity - after the pineal gland charges it up with more yang qi. The heart then purifies this qi - by the shen of no shen - the Emptiness of the lower tan t'ien with the shen turned around to CREATE the yang qi.... So the lower tan t'ien doesn't exist until it's created.... so with the third eye.
  15. The heart is the source of the Fire - the Shen that is powered by the Liver - and so goes out the eyes when they are open. The alchemical secret is to reverse this - so that the Shen is directed down via the yin qi reversed. This is why the upper body is yang externally but internally it is yin as the Female - or the Female mysterious pass. So the yin qi is the female power of the yang upper body. https://www.internalartsinternational.com/free/daoist-meditation-lesson-eight-theory-golden-fluid-the-micro-cosmic-orbit/

  19. About Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality

The book is actually based on a 1615 book - and so when I discovered this - it helped clarify the Taoist Yoga book. http://elixirfield.blogspot.com/2018/06/is-taoist-yoga-book-incomplete.html I blogged on this yesterday - the link I give then discusses the context and background of the Taoist Yoga book.... http://qianfengdaoismuk.weebly.com/ So this is the direct lineage of that book Taoist Yoga. http://neidanromania.proboards.com/thread/236 The 1615 book translated. http://qianfengdaoismuk.weebly.com/how-the-xingming-gui-zhi-influenced-zhao-bichenrsquos-manual.html So one was written in 1933, aka Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality and the other was written in Yin Zhenren #|H)\. 1615. Yes Nobel Physicist Brian Josephson told me he does practice qigong with another colleague at Cambridge - and actually I just blogged on his recent talk in China - where he espouses a view of science based on Daoist philosophy. http://elixirfield.blogspot.com/2018/06/nobel-physicist-brian-josephson-figures.html
  21. I wouldn't let semantics get in the way of understanding the psychophysiology. If you have the tongue against the roof of the mouth this activates the vagus nerve which then increases saliva but it ALSO connects the front and back channel - as the Upper Magpie Bridge - so that cerebrospinal fluid flows out of the sinus cavity. So this fluid is charged with qi via the pineal gland. http://thekundaliniprocess.blogspot.com/2009/12/responses-to-questions-about-cerebro.html So here this person discusses the Buddha on Amrita... it is not "saliva" but it merges with the saliva - it's not an neither/nor situation but a both/and.... I He gave a more esoteric explanation in a lecture in India during his visit there in 1935-6: While practicing Kriya… a divine nectar-like current flows from the sahasrara (chakra, or spinal center, at the top of the head)...The positive and negative energies in the tongue and nasal passages (or uvula), when joined together, create a cycle of energy in the head which, instead of allowing the energy to flow outward to the body, generates a magnetic field that draws energy upward from the body and from the base of the spine to the brain. https://www.ananda.org/blog/paramhansa-yogananda-and-khechari-mudra/ http://www.sikhawareness.com/topic/15330-sweet-nectar-taste-in-mouth-from-simran/
  22. Tests for the non-random character of the I Ching

I'm very glad you read it and found it very interesting! I have corresponded with one of the authors - Nobel Physicist Brian Josephson. Yes - he focuses on thinking and analysis rather than just "computations" that don't analyze the concepts involved. Just so you know, Nobel Physicist Brian Josephson was even "disinvited" from a physics conference because the young and "up and coming" physicists were afraid they would not get hired for jobs if they went to a conference that he spoke at!! haha. So free thinking in science is very much censored - but since you actually read his paper instead of just self-censoring the information (as many do) - you can see he is engaging with insightful analysis that is very important.

Nice to know the latest science backs up the ancients. For the details of how to practice then read Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality - it's like a cook book. Not exactly theory as much as detailed instructions - which, ironically, are corroborated by the most cutting edge science: quantum biology.
