  1. The Advantage of Evil

In my experience: evil is a judgement call. One group of people trying to go west in a sail boat, and another group of people going east in a sail boat. A westerly wind pushing back the east going sail boat could be called a evil wind by the people in that sail boat. A westerly wind pushing the west going sail boat could be called a good wind by the people in that sail boat. huh
  2. Article - "In Search of the True Dao"

@freeform, "I met one of these alchemists - his preparation was made using precious metals that were purified, prayed over, transmitted into and then fermented with wild honey, special herbs and wild fruits." My relatives from Lancashire England used to put a bit of white gold and sometimes honey in their tea pot whenever they made tea (all the time). I just thought that they were a little eccentric, but when I read your post, I thought that it might make sense that the chemicals in tea could bring out whatever aid to the spirit, that the white gold is reported to provide.huh ''
  3. What is spirituality

@Kubba, 'But there are real deals too who speak about the topic. Spirituality is matters of spirit, spiritual evolution.' In my opinion/experience: most 'real deals' as you call them will speak indirectly. I have been well cultivated while posting about with the DBs, I try to read between the lines, and channel the feelings connected to the words that are being expressed. Even negative comments if received in the correct light can be the seed that produces a epiphany.
  4. What is spirituality

@freeform, 'Spirituality as it is defined by people who have attained some spiritually evolved state tend to have very different definitions than ones who like to talk about spirituality or appear spiritual...' It is good to hear your words. In my opinion/experience: There are DBs who are extremely spirit world functional.
  5. Are enlightened people impotent?

@Everything I am impressed with your knowledge: "And, when that state is achieved, and the body feels that way, THEN a higher function of sex CAN be experienced." NO Touching-or-NO magic
  6. Are enlightened people impotent?

Thanks for the Cultivation one and all, I was worried about being recycled, but now I know that I half a chance: Nirvana The literal meaning is "blowing out" or "quenching." It marks the soteriological release from rebirths in saṃsāra.
  7. What is spirituality

In my experience: spirituality symbolizes the great work: where a self taught being manages to focus his life energies to self create/refine a more advanced/experienced version of his/her self within the next level of existence(caterpillar-butterfly)spirit-flesh-leveled up-huh👻👻
  8. Visualizations stories the mage

In the eye of the beholder DRAFT: A simulation from a writing of a quote from something that I think Romi said after training his followers for many years: “I take you to the gates of heaven and then when a demon pops up and says BOO, then you all run away”. In my experiences while I am assending through the earth gates, most of the gate gardians seem to be able to appear in what ever form they choose. During my year of (called by some a walkabout) I gained access to the ethereal plane through the initiation of the wild hunt, once done I made my way to a local other world location and signed in as a pagan practitioner. In that location I did a variety of activities, one of which was to obtain my families collective spirit energy=(which over the centuries had (as is normal) become a entity in its own wright (It is an inheritance, for you Norse pagans the Irish call it the luck). At the time that I grabbed it, a Arch bishop (one of the few catholic priests that I have seen who could wield magic energies), anyway he was lit up enough in the ethereal world by the energy glow from my families luck spirit that I could see by the vortexes of his eyes that he was admiring it hungerly. Anyway he was the first visible being that I remember seeing directly, and he did meat the cryteria of what some of you would call a Demon(a moving shadowy outlined fourm moving about and speaking word pertinent to the situation, (in this case the water sprinkling that Catholics do). In my experience: However I would call him simply a visible unenergized spirit. Spirits that are called Angeles are beings that have been energized and look all lighted up, while the highest of spirits appear human (or non-human projectors) who appear in their spirits as fully formed normal people or in some cases fully formed normal otherkin. This is how I can tell who I am in contact with. The next level of visitor are the ones who can make physical contact with you. With this level you need be concerned that they can give or take (good or bad things), this is just a hint, and shows why I was anxious to make sure and quickly take and hid my families luck away from hungry magic Users like the bishop who baptized me as a baby. In my experience: When I see what some call a Demon I simply see a ethereal form that is dark because of being low on energy. In my experience: When I see what some call an Angele I simply see a ethereal form that is being lit up with energy sometimes by a empowered ethereal being or human mage or practitioner who is projecting into the ethereal and who is using the Angele as a avatar to travel about in, while he or she is having vicarious ethereal experiences. While visiting a Jewish temple I was given the opportunity to have a ceramoney don to me where I was given enough energy from a couple of their angeles to project out of my current body (the purpose of the cermoney was for the mages to see if they could repair some of the damage to me), I just used the opportunity while receiving the energy provided to have a look at myself, not much to look at but a lot of damaged parts LoL.
  9. Visualizations stories the mage

Concerning studying ancestors and the prophetic nudges that they can give you. There was once a new mage who had started on his path, he focused his efforts toward the wholeness of having a functional spirit and building a life on a more permanent plane of existence. As he got more in tune with spirit, he discovered that his ancestors where giving him helpful nudges from time to time. About the almost unnoticed nudges from ancestors: When young in body for no apparent reason to him at the time he worked at gathering and enchanting (pushing/quickening a variety of various materials into other planes of existence). He was unaware that he had enchanted enough materials to create a scroll, he had week, writing skills as displayed here (humble moment), and at the time would have negated any though of future scroll writing. Then at one point in his life while he was studding and practicing functional spirit movements and alchemy with various groups of his peers , he was given the opportunity to do some work at a temple on a higher plane (who wouldn't jump at the chance to even set foot into a temple on a higher plane Ahhhh). While rummaging around in the temple he managed to ruin a really old 'in his defense rancid scroll' (klutz much), and so he was obliged, to recreate a new scroll from scratch (pay back is a @#^%&). So he began the work with the materials that he just happened to have collected in his youth (thanks for the nudges ancestors) 'ancestors taking a bow'.
  10. Mair 12:4

Interesting information Marblehead, in my experience North West is where the dead run to when they can't function within the higher planes. East is where the functional spirit bodies of those who have gained a higher existence go. South is where treasures/information/experiences from the past are located.
  11. Thanks to the cultivation from some on this forum and with the support of many, I have leveled up within my path.  :D

  12. 'I prefer to be open with healthy skepticism, but don't want to adopt cynicism to the point of outright dismissal.' I am still liking your comments, without the experiencing/seeing it for myself which I have, I would doubt anyone else if they claimed that they have seen a persons rainbow body.
  13. I am , new to Daoism, I like this thread in general and your opinion in particular.
  14. Fearful Experiences

Once again I thank you Marblehead, for bringing my attention to this is important Daoist concept, and terminology. In my original understandings, a first "wu wei" moment/experience, is the beginning of everything, and now I understand the Daoist concept of this is slimier .
  15. Fearful Experiences

Yueya, I am happy that you have experienced a brief separation from the collective conciseness of humanity. In my experience: I to have been through the separation in other ways with the gaining of similar understandings. I am new to Daoism, and I am studding its concepts to add to my own because unlike many other teachings Daoism teaches doing something to improve my own personal energy body, which to me is vital to my continued progression.
  16. Fearful Experiences

This is a good example of a opportunity for someone to choose to initiate into the lower forms. It sounds bad but it is actually necessary for the person to be given a Chance to initiate into the higher forms, because with out this going below there can be no Balance. In other words you have to dig a whole plant the seed of your tree of life (a small death), before you can expect to Truly and Permanently experience the tree that rises above the level of what is Normal life on this plane of existence.
  17. Visualizations stories the mage

from: https://www.thedaobums.com/topic/48039-ouspensky-and-the-forth-way/?tab=comments#comment-883710 Thanks for the new in-depth comments, I have been reviewing the 4th way and trying to clearly understand Mr. G's take on the purpose/function of the moon. In my ongoing experiments with micro actions within a lot sized rune , and their effects on what I call a domain bubble, I having heard some negative things about the effects of the moon in general, I did withdrawn the totem of the moon from the rune and replaced it with a totem of a different order.
  18. a sovereign force?

'I need a better definition of self. "I" and "me" don't seem to cut it anymore...',Lol,good one! In my experience: using the '180' scenario, and transcending, 'not working at the level of the problem', provides the I and me with a third door to go through, a third window to look through, a third opinion to form. Also *separating the three brains into singular components, so that their views can be more easily understood and focused can be of help. *(a sage/mage users system, each section of the three brains is named for better control of the whole)
  19. Wells, I was just inquiring if your goal was to travel in your energy body, or something else. Once traveling initiations are done without a physical meeting. Thanks for the information for the name of the part that my clog was released from. I will add it to my new Daoist vocabulary.
  20. Hello Wells, I am new to Daoism, However I have experience with this type of vibration throughout the body, when I vibrate the frontal lobes in my head I get a clear movement know, but when their was a blockage it acted like a resistant causing a powerful vibration and then when it broke up it flowed through vibrating the whole the body until it dispersed. When this happens anywhere in the body I know that this means a leveling up over time, there was a balancing of energies. Also I was taught to draw energy in through my feet using emotional content as the lifting/attracting force and a mental construct/tuple(a) as the direction to receive the storage. All this not to fight but to build energy body to travel in. With all of this training skill building and effort have you had a initiation, of any kind?
  21. a sovereign force?

    Respect!
  22. Daoist monasticism

A Greased Scotsman, 'Since humans are by nature social creatures, is isolating oneself from society for extended periods of time not an action which runs contrary to the Dao?' I am just a bigger and learning Daoist concepts, but in my experience: it is all about the doing of whatever you can manage at any given time to get you below all things-forms so that then you will have opportunities presented to you by the universe to transcend all things-forms, and that places you in line with the Dao to my Novelist understanding. If the following story was just a story and not a real life experience, I would have written that the monks who had achieved functional energy bodies by choosing to go below human speech in their daily lives, would have eventually chosen to leave the whistling monastery and to migrate into the world so that through service and experience they could begin to transcend all things according to the opportunities that would be presented to them.
  23. Daoist monasticism

I thank all who posted, for me reading this thread is extreme cultivation, in terms that I can understand. I would add my take on the doers. In my opinion: the act of transcending any part of the reactionary states of the world is 'being in the world but not of the world'. Which is personal monasticism, as some of my christian relatives did attempt.
  24. Somnus

Hello Somnus, I am new to Daoism, I hope that you enjoy posting hear. I have been generously cultivated while I have been attempting to convert my technology/magic, to Daoism terminology. I get along really well with many of the worlds travelers, some of which you may have encounter on the left hand path. no worries.
  25. Taoist Novice's Deep Question's

In my experience: the reason that we are here in this temporary superficial realm is to *explore destruction until we have been weened from it, become board with it, comprehend it, etc., so that we can move on to creating which is our natural state. *beings of high intelligence and power, create controlled scenarios into which their children are placed, until they can overcome their forms initial behaviors. 'called the time of craziness by .......', called kindergarten by others.
