  1. Daoist monasticism

The one son said yes I will go and do, the second son said no I will not. Later the second son returned and became the doer. (paraphrase for my convenience Lol).
  2. Daoist monasticism

I second you about it not being your path, Lost in Translation, because if you know from within yourself what I was raving about (the 180), mentioned in one of your previous posts, then In my experience: you have a chance at having your own inner-domain. 'remaining in the world but no longer of the world 180' (paraphrased).
  3. Taoist Meditation

Aletheia, this is film seams to show a spacial ritual, however it only seams to focus in on the startling parts of the ritual. I can Support the Reality of people connecting themselves to thought form creations, I will mention a few of the other cultures that produce slimier effects: the culture that I have recently retired form produced and maintains a temple in the form of a *tupla/tuple/Egregore within the astral plane/world of spirits, also I am aware that a group of aubergines in Australia once used a spell gifted to them, and managed to create a bonfire that appeared to the view of the astronauts as they were going around the world in the space shuttle. The Christians hold the believe that the mass forms a collective conscious that connects the people with their god. *Gautama Buddha and arhats are able to travel into heavenly realms using the continuum of the midstream (bodhi) and it is also used to explain the multiplication miracle of the Buddha as illustrated in the Divyavadana, in which the Buddha multiplied his emanation body ("nirmita") into countless other bodies which filled the sky. A Buddha or other realized being is able to project many such "nirmitas" simultaneously in an infinite variety of forms in different realms simultaneously. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulpa https://www.google.com/search?q=Egregore&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS730US730&oq=Egregore&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i65j69i59.9472j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  4. Daoist monasticism

This thread is interesting, because I recently posted a story about two groups of monks, one group was all about show, with no internal substance, and the other group was about Doing whatever thing that they could to increase their energy body talents. This increase worked to enhance spiritual feelings in their area and did impress such good feelings into the genius loci of the area, that they were felt far away by what some would call a dragon/spirit mage. In my experience: in the world of spirits that I go Journeying about, talents are worked for, traded for favors or to offset payback (revenge), used to define the honor of an individual, etc... A Tiny Talent : is currently the first story in the thread. Visualizations stories the mage (order of stories is subject to change)
  5. What does "Qi cultivation" mean to you?

blue eyed snake, in my experience: once your energy body is partially/fully functional and has gained the talent and the freedom to move about, you can begin to watch yourself do the actions first, and then in your physical body you can do your best to keep up or just watch and enjoy.
  6. faith in humanity

Thanks for the sincerity and the spelling.
  7. faith in humanity

Marblehead, Thanks for giving christians a wake up call. I myself among other things am a retired christian, having met and made peace with the christian gods. So as newbie to Dadaism, can you please aid in my cultivation and tell me for sure am I attempting to become a Daoist or a Taoist?
  8. Taoist Meditation

Taomeow thanks, as always excellent information, as a newbie Taoist connecting my experiences to Match up my becoming with Taoist concepts. Thanks again
  9. Visualizations stories the mage

Comments from the thread/posts: do-i-have-the-ability-to-act-on-the-world-to-add-change-or-stop-certain-phenomena Happy Destiny Returns: One day the old mage, tried his luck in looking for someone to talk to, so he posted on a internet forum, looking about the www he had been intrigued by the Internets resemblance to the world pyramid system. During the course of several months the old mage labored to channel life force into the posters who where on a forum chatting about magic and spirit, 'two of his favorite subjects', after a long time one of the posters rose to the surface and began calling out the other posters for wasting his time because they would not talk about the practical things of magic and spirit. the old mage, finally ran out of juice (ran out of movable energy) but before he did he had a couple of good posts with the one aspiring mage talking about practical magic and spirit then they both at the same time decided to leave that forum and look for greener pastures. the old mage, is now happy looking back on his past destiny trail, having now received the reward for his earlier efforts, which had given him the bump that he had needed to move into a destiny that brought him to DBs, where there are so many who have real potential, and other mages who are able to pass over in spirit and visit with him.
  10. the two levels of enlightenment

Lost in Translation, know I am impressed with your humility and your knowledge. This dao bums website gets more intriguing to this old mage by the day.
  11. the two levels of enlightenment

Lost in Translation, This powerful knowing of yours, causes me to ask have you passed through any gates, or received any new names?
  12. the two levels of enlightenment

'I think this is very important, most important. If we flip this 180 and look at creation from a soul perspective then witnessing life' Lost in Translation, This statement of yours is exciting to hear because it is the path that I have been taught to follow. I am a newbe to Taoism, so I ask is this a Taoist concept?
  13. Holy Grail

Apech, 'a spiritual interpretive perspective', In my experience: The real grail is only allowed to server a HERO, the question 'whom does the grail serve', asked of the 'Hero (Perceval usually)', means that because he himself is a Hero #he must decide, if the king is worthy to be allowed to eat from the Grail. ##anchaint sayings claim that within the world of spirits the grail is a cauldron made from a head the contents of which heals energy bodies/spirits. This healing of energy bodies/spirits may have been what the author was hinting about? This book seems to have been written by someone attempting to weave esoteric meanings into the words, this sort of esoteric writing was common among those who were afraid to lose favor with the christian church. 'Interestingly the land is sick (a wasteland) because the king is sick.' In my experience: kings who are truly kings and not in name only, are subject to the genius loci, and the spirit world powers that be, the land spirits along with all of the people and their spirits are formed into a collective dragon/spirit/angel, into which a true kings energy body is **inserted as the head. He being the human who is accepted by the spirit realm powers, is allowed to rule in their place (reportedly called by the Japanese a mandate from heaven, which when it is withdrawn causes the kingdom/nation to fall and to be broken into pieces). This chosen king/president/leaders healing becomes the lands healing and his sickness reflects the lands sickness, (the sickness has more to do with the hearts, minds and energy bodies of the people which is reflected in the actual land.) **thus the saying the office is always bigger then the man, becomes a viable sentiment. #The narrator then describes the cauldron of the Chief of Annwn: it is finished with pearl and will not boil a coward's food. ##In the Second Branch Bran gives his magic life-restoring cauldron to his new brother-in-law Matholwch of Ireland when he marries Bran's sister Branwen. Author sails across many kingdoms, to either rescue the prisoner Gweir or to retrieve the cauldron of the Head of Annwn. (shortened) In my studies: the Romans and Christians added many tenets to their religion after the fact. The legend may be a combination of genuine Christian lore with a Celtic myth of a cauldron endowed with special powers. http://www.crystalinks.com/holygrail.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preiddeu_Annwfn
  14. Ritualistic Magic? Whats the point?

Good one! Visualizations stories the mage When a spell backfires 2nd story on thread.
  15. Ritualistic Magic? Whats the point?

Agreed, about just more philosophy, just like most when they get a taste of a Real spirit world journey like the *wild hunt. Change their minds about following the path and get religion so that they can trust in those teachings that are outside of themselves. Others, practitioners of various forms of magic, joined in it voluntarily, as an intangible part of them (a “soul,” if you like) flew with the cavalcade while their bodies lay in their beds as if sleeping normally.
  16. Ritualistic Magic? Whats the point?

You have posted really good and deep information. If you read the following and find it offensive in any way I will gladly delete the comments with no hard feelings. I know of a current iteration of #Beelzebuub, who in the recent past has visited those who desired to receive his tutelage. He visited me in my home, healed me of a decades old *wound and then when I visited him in Australia he gave me a gift. *several other healers had repaired the internal wound and the broken bones and one had given me a gift, but until Beelzebuub healed me up no one had closed up the leakage. #Beelzebuub-prince of spirits. https://belsebuub.com/astral-meetings-with-the-being-belsebuub

  18. Taoist Meditation

turtlehermit, my apologies, I am learning about Taoist similarities to my philosophies, and I got carried away. I'll take it to another thread.
  19. Taoist Meditation

'The reason Zhen Wu has his feet on the turtle and snake is another story of how demons posses the turtle and snake who are hurting humans. Zhen Wu defeats the demons and makes them his disciples.' WO Ming Jen, thanks, that is so Great you have just connected my practice with another Taoist one. In my practice we have to *defeat 6 spirits and then either replace them with better ones or repair the defeated ones and place them in positions of service. *it is a lot more complicated process then I am menting.
  20. Taoist Meditation

'Gui She “Turtle and Snake” beneath his feet..' Wu Ming Jen, thanks for considering us novelists in your comments. While trying to absorb the above symbology into my growing Taoist destany mural, I became confronted by two images from my current understanding. Consider if you will that these are references to existing past destany mural understandings. A being standing above two creatures would represent the beings own two major talents, a being standing in front of two creatures would represent the being having two wing men or angels/spirits and their talents. The fact that the two creatures are a turtle and a snake would represent the two symbols used by dragons to represent themselves as being the unseen support of powerful beings such as Zhen Wu. Does any of this symbology line up with Taoist symology in any way? Thanks!
  21. Taoist Meditation

Mudfoot, It sounds interesting but what is mytologi, and the dipper? Are you a Norseman? My first initiation into the spirit world was with oden and the wild hunt -1967.
  22. Taoist Meditation

Aletheia, I redid my earlier post It sounded better in my head then on paper. I have to tell you that I want to learn more about both; taoism that embodies so much of the focused becoming that I admire, and now I can see clearly that if the Bushmen were going farther into the collective mind then that is the one area that I have not discovered yet in taoism. I have held back on posting about it so as not to cause anyone offense. In my experiences: establishing the collective mind with the proper focus is what produces the direct connect to the higher realms (opens the door). In my experience: This collective process, of opening the door (in this case by the Bushmen), does not take away from the process of a person embodying the dao but serves to accelerate an individual's being absorbed into it.
  23. Taoist Meditation

Aletheia, I thank you for this good information. I am new and I am trying to match my practices with taoism. In the Trance Dance video that I watched I saw a nice person going through what in my culture are the beginnings of the first initiation, which starts when you successfully face your own demons. I enjoyed watching the collective mind system of the Bushmen tribe working to assist one of their own in this cultivation process. I hope that we can share more spirit based information in the future.
